So in an effort to not create the same batch of wrestlers in every wrestling game, I decided to take Royal Ring to it's 20th anniversary which would be 2025. Most of the former stars have retired (though there are a few still around, and the young lions from FPR are now graduated, full roster wrestlers).

I'm not going to run down what happened between 2015 (the last time I remember really updating with a rundown of events) and 2025...as most of it would make no sense to most of the newcomers who weren't around for the original Royal Ring...and even some who where due to it being so long ago. So just treat this as a new deal with a few familiar faces and a familiar brand name.

ROYAL RING FACES

MICHIHIRO NAKANISHI

The ace of Royal Ring Puroresu for the last 8 years...Nakanishi has been a dominant force. He's one of the returning faces that a few people who followed the tale end of the original run of Royal Ring may remember. He was the protege of Koji Tanaka.

HYOSUKE YAMASAKI

Former YPS favorite, now making his professional home in Royal Ring. Hyosuke was trained by legendary grapplers Shinsuke Nakamura and Yuji Nagata for the Youth ProStyle project, and his exceptional pedigree shows in every match. An eternal championship contender, Hyosuke is always high in the minds of promoters and fans.

KIM SOON PAK

Kim Soon Pak, a former South Korean amateur wrestling champion, and a former Korean Combat Division Korean National professional wrestling champion, has come to Royal Ring to compete on a stage that Korean wrestling has just not reached at this point. His skills are definitely on the Royal Ring level.

AKIHISA OZAWA

Akihisa Ozawa is a wrestler who is about to hit his peak. His career thusfar has been fairly unspectacular, but 2025 is poised to bring him great success teaming with Kensuke Masuno.

KENUSKE MASUNO

Kensuke Masuno didn't get the message that being trailer trash isn't what American's consider cool. He idolizes the beer drinking, vulgar, ways of American degenerates. His personal heroes have never stopped him from performing admirably in the Royal Ring though. He's currently teaming with Akihisa Ozawa.

SATOSHI ISHIBASHI

"The Japanese Bulldog" Satoshi Ishibashi is about as tough and stubborn as they come. His loner attitude makes him a bit of an anti-hero, but his tireless spirit and ring work makes all the fans begrugingly supportive.

ICHIRO KANEMURA

Another guy who has been around since the very first Royal Ring card. He may be older, but he hasn't slowed down a bit. His high flying style has kept him on top in Royal Ring's Jr. Heavyweight Division.

DAIKI SATOU

Satou has made a name for himself outside of wrestling over the last few years, becoming a notable pop-star and movie actor. His looks keep the female fans of Royal Ring tuning in, but his tenacity and never-say-die spirit are the foundations on which he's built his wrestling career.

MASAICHI TAKUDO

Masaichi Takudo is the first born son of legendary Zero-Art shoot-wrestler Masayuki Takudo. Masaichi doesn't bring the same shoot style to the ring that his father did, but it'd be entirely inaccurate to say that you can't see his father in him.

DAIJIRO SASAKI

The final trainee of Koji Tanaka, Daijiro Sasaki brings power and stamina to the Royal Ring heavyweight ranks. A natural athelete, Sasaki is a natural in the ring, and always a threat to the Ring Ring Crown Heavyweight Champion.

SHUNSUKE HIRATSUKA

Former Young Princes Cup winner, Shunsuke Hiratsuka has been around both the RRC World Title, and RRC Pacific title pictures for quite some time now. While he's a 2 time Pacific champion, the World title has always managed to elude him.

TATSUHITO OKAMI

Tatsuhito Okami blends his love of pro-wrestling with his love of submission fighting and has created a loyal following with his no-nonsense, but highly effective style. He has been a solid mid-card fighter for most of his career, but recently has started making waves in the Pacific Title picture.

TAKU YAMATA

While his outfit hasn't changed much since his young prince days, Taku Yamata has matured into an excellent Royal Road Style machine.

KOSHIRO NOGAMI

Nogami came from the same class that produced "Texas" Takada and Akihisa Ozawa. He's not done very much to earn a name for himself yet, but the potential is there.

CARL ZILLA

Zilla may be 43, but he's still in decent enough shape to ruin your arm's day.

TADAYUKI INO

Tadayuki Ino is a casualty of the decline of popularity of MMA in japan since 2020. Once the biggest star, and co-owner of the biggest worked shoot promotion in Japan, Zero-Art, Ino found himself out of a job when the gate just stopped paying the bills and Zero-Art was forced to close. Royal Ring was quick to pick up the mega-popular star, who, strangely enough, had always avoided the microphone in Zero-Art. It soon became abundantly clear why, Ino is a 100% bonnafide jerk. This, combined with his violent and aggressive style has made him someone the fans can't quite hate enough.

GARRETT HAMLIN

Son of Royal Ring legend Sam Hamlin, Garret is one half of the Rough Riders tag team with Stringer Hawk, together they are the current RRC Tag Team Champions.

STRINGER HAWK

Stringer Hawk is a tough American gaijin from the state of Montana. A true cowboy, and one half of the Rough Riders tag team with Garret Hamlin, together they are the current RRC Tag Team Champions.

SHINZO KAZA

Shinzo Kaza was the last Blade heavyweight champion before the promotion was forced out of business by a decline in the popularity of MMA in Japan, and some questionable spending practices by the promotions top executives. As soon as Kaza hit the free agent market, Royal Ring offered him a contract, as he's a long time pro-wrestling fan, and a dedicated regular at Royal Ring's biggest events. Since making his debut, his no nonsense pummeling style has allowed him to rapidly climb the ladder here in Royal Ring. Kaza is the current RRC World Heavyweight Champion.

KAZU NARITA

Narita started his career as a promising young jr. under the guidence of Wrestling Terrorist Control. Eventually, the other members of WTC retired, and Narita has been struggling to make a name for himself on his own.

BASU ISHIDA

Basu Ishida is a big, foul fighter. He can take a beating and just keep on coming...until he crushes his opponents under his considerable weight.

HITCHCOCK

A big English bruiser, Hitchcock doesn't mess around in the ring.

TSUYOSHI UCHIDA

Trained by Jun Tanashi and Ryusuke Nakagawa, the orignal Blood Pirates, Uchida now carries on the Blood Pirate name on his own. A ruthless competitor who will due anything to win, and even more of it if it'll hurt.

SAMBUUGIN KHUNBISH

"The One Man Horde" is a Mongolian warrior who came to Royal Ring to conquer. His slightly unorthodox style has lead him to a few wins of key Royal Ring stallwarts, and it looks like he's got a promising future here.

AKIRA HIROYAMA

He's an asshole, he's been an asshole since day one, and continues to be an asshole 18 years after his first match...fans love to hate him.

KIYOSHI TAKADA

Everything is better in Texas Japan according to Takada, who fancies himself a Japanese Cowboy. Don't let the silly blonde mullet and Texas tights fool you though, he's a serious, up-and-coming competitor.

QUEENS RING JOSHI

CASSIDY CANNON

Cassidy Cannon is a recent US import to Royal Ring. Ever since arriving her stock has been increasing in the eyes of the Royal Ring fans. She's held multiple titles in the States, but she's looking to add an international flavor to her accolades. She's the current QRC World Champion.

KYOKO WAKASUKI

Kyoko Wakasuki was the first female graduate of the Royal Ring Dojo. After graduation she quickly became a top star in the Queens Ring division of Royal Ring. She's a multiple time Queens Ring Crown World champion, and has been looking to regain that honor ever since losing the belt in early 2023.

YUMIKO OISHI

Yumiko Oishi is one of two females to be finish the Royal Ring dojo training program. The other, Kyoko Wakasuki finished just a few weeks before Yumiko, and they've had a bitter rivalry every since. Yumiko "The Blood Rose" hits hard and can take a beating.

JADE KANAYAMA

Jade "The Viper" had been making waves on the Japanese independent scene for a few years before Royal Ring gave her a spot in their dojo. Having now satisfied Royal Ring officials by completing her dojo training, she's on a violent and bloody tear through the women's ranks here in Royal Ring.

TIGRESS MASK III

The third incarnation of Tigress Mask, little is known about the actual wrestler. Both previous Tigress Masks have gone on to huge stardom after unmasking, the original, Ayame Yamoto being retired now, and Tigeress Mask II, Kitty Basham winding down a career which saw multiple QRC World Title reigns.

YOUNG PRINCES

KOSEI OKAMOTO

One of the young princes currently in the Royal Ring dojo, Okamoto is the more naturally athletic of the pair, however his grasp on technique is lacking.

SHINGO NOGUCHI

One of the young princes currently in the Royal Ring dojo, Noguchi is more technically gifted, but lacks natural athleticism.

SYOZO MINAMI

One of the young princes currently in the Royal Ring dojo, Minami is both athletic and technically sound. He's expected to go far, if he can keep his attention on wrestling that is.

KOHEI KONO

One of the young princes currently in the Royal Ring dojo, Kono hits harder than any of the current trainees, but is lost when it comes to technical wrestling. He also has a penchant for cheating, which has not endeared him to Royal Ring training staff.

JIRO OKUDERA

One of the young princes currently in the Royal Ring dojo, Okudera's physical stature has earned him the nickname "The Intimidator", which fits quite well. He's a gigantic man who moves around quite well for someone his size, and has a decent grasp on the fundementals. Big things are expected from him.

MACHI SUGAWARA

One of the maidens currently in the Queens Ring dojo, Sugawara is a crafty wrestler, with solid all around skills.

MUIKA HANEDA

One of the maidens currently in the Queens Ring dojo, Haneda just joined the dojo recently and has yet to really show her skills. She is very eager to learn though, and that bodes well for her future.

YUNO KASAGI

One of the maidens currently in the Queens Ring dojo, Kasagi has an excellent grasp on the basics, and above average submission skills. Of the 3 women currently in training, Kasagi is probably the most natural gifted in both athleticism and raw technical ability.
