Old stuff I wanted to get on this early, so I'm setting up the poll *now*: what should the name of the 2019 Supershow be? Vote here - www.strawpoll.me/16950321If you vote for either of the "Something else" options, please show in the replies what your name suggestion would be. :) New stuff: After the voting has ended, the winning suggestion is "something else without the word Critical in it", with the suggestion to come up with your own ideas for the event's name in your replies. Since I haven't set a firm date for the event (and still have at least 3 more major lead-in shows to get through before that point), you guys have plenty of time to offer up your suggestions (serious or not). Even if it doesn't get used for the Supershow, there's a high likelihood that, in the old FPCPP tradition, some of the more esoteric names WILL be used for other future events. In the meantime, a placeholder logo for the general theme of this upcoming year (in the style of the Battle Arena TOSHINDEN 2 logo) is up on my Fire Pro twitter account: twitter.com/FireProFM |

I vote CRITICAL MASS or however you want stylised it later. Below is from Wiki of Critical mass.
" A critical mass is the smallest amount of fissile material needed for a sustained nuclear chain reaction. The critical mass of a fissionable material depends upon its nuclear properties (specifically, the nuclear fission cross-section), its density, its shape, its enrichment, its purity, its temperature, and its surroundings. The concept is important in nuclear weapon design.
When a nuclear chain reaction in a mass of fissile material is self-sustaining, the mass is said to be in a critical state in which there is no increase or decrease in power, temperature, or neutron population. "
Now replace the nuclear related thing with us as a community / alliance.

So far, the "not Critical" vote is outnumbering the total "Critical" vote by ONE SINGLE VOTE (and is also currently the highest in individual votes, period)!
Get your votes in before January 1st, after which I'll start putting out logo mockups of the top vote-getters.

Full metals house of pancakes Probably gonna use this for a "grab bag" style live event with different divisions taking on each other. :) OFFICIALLY BRANDED SUPERSHOW 2019 (tm) Neat idea, perhaps a bit too not-serious-enough for the actual name of the supershow (not gonna lie, I have thought about using that particular suggestion though). ...But so far, it's actually probably the top idea at the moment, other than a possible "generic" name of "Alliance RISING" to use as a catch-all for the event. Maybe for a later-in-the-year event focused on the affiliates rather than the C!C, with a bunch of them putting their top belt(s) on the line in a showcase of their coolness. (and as a joke, it'll still be called "Editmania I" every year, even if there's been like 10 of them already) :P Even though I've watched LPs of the various RCR games, and even played and beat the SNES one myself (and the Neo-Geo version of RCR Dodgeball), I'm still not familiar enough with RCR to confidently title an event as this, though I'll probably do so for one anyway. :P (this may also necessitate a making a GIANT amount of RCR style versions of everybody who gets booked onto this, like in the FPCPP many years ago) And yes, all 4 of these names are in fact currently in the actual running to be the name of the Supershow. |
