Any one have any clue why they didnt allow edits in the manager mode for this game? Both the one night and season(whatever the exact terms were) didnt allow it. Talk about the hugest blunder ever. I know there was some contest back then that some speculated could be the reason. Any one else know anything? Its just so clearly counter to how the other fire pro games had been

Sadly it feels like I'm the only one still riding the FPWR bus. Don't get me wrong I have world but for multiple reasons I find Returns the superior game.

Its just so clearly counter to how the other fire pro games had been What I've heard is that Spike intended this to be a specific 1P challenge mode with a focus on the default wrestlers. I 100% agree with you though - the entire philosophy and strength of Fire Pro is customization. I'll never understand why Spike couldn't have at least given us the option of putting our own edits in it. Just because they may have had an idea in mind for how we play doesn't mean they couldn't have given us extra options for fun and replayability. Human/Spike has rarely held our hand and forced us through their own preconceived goals. I don't know why they had to do it with this mode. FPW's Match Maker mode did this the right way in allowing us to use whoever we wanted. (Though it was difficult to find some wrestlers in the mode if we didn't actively choose them in our base promotion)
