1.1 History - The Beginning
ELEMENT PRO is a pro wrestling organization based in Seattle, Washington & Nagoya, Japan originally founded by Japanese wrestling legend Element Takamura and his business partner John J. Wilson.
Wilson, a business tycoon who amassed a small fortune off the back the success from his television network TAGN (The Anything-Goes Network) met the famous puroresu star Takamura while on a media buying trip to Osaka. The two become instant friends, as Wilson, a life-long wrestling fan, finally saw a way to tap into the international wrestling market. Wilson's idea was to use Takamura as entry to OLIVE JAPAN boardroom, in hopes of becoming an investor in the blossoming japanese wrestling organization. Takamura had other plans. With his body breaking down from countless death matches and title reigns, Takamura saw his time with OLIVE JAPAN coming to an end and convinced Wilson to scrap the notion of investing in his former home organization. He had a new idea. invest in a new organization. ELEMENT PRO WRESTLING
Initially, the plan was to acquire the best wrestling talent from across the globe. Things would not be this easy. Two months after Takamura announced his retirement from OLIVE JAPAN and the launch of ELEMENT PRO, tragedy struck. John J. Wilson was murdered in cold blood outside of a casino in Tokyo in the early hours of the morning. The killer sped off on a motorcycle and was never found or identified. As you can imagine, rumours of who the killer was, the motivation behind the murder and the future of ELEMENT PRO soon found their way to the dirtsheets. After losing his best friend and the financial backer of ELEMENT PRO, Takamura was forced to improvise.
With a limited budget and a black cloud over his head, Takamura assembled a roster that can only be described as rag-tag. Drug-dealers, Yakuza, Alcoholics, Demons, Zombies, Old friends, and more.
The goal has always been to do John J. Wilson proud and make ELEMENT PRO WRESTLING what it should of been.
And maybe even find out who the killer was all these years later.
