Established: July 2017
Pro Wrestling Revival is the small little corner of the Fire Pro multiverse where the real world collides with the Fire Pro world. Established on July 2017, we have been delivering hard hitting action in a new and innovative ways, while also remaining true to the sport of professional wrestling. Shows are run on Wednesdays live on the KaoticPersona Twitch Channel, time permitting. Pay Per Views will be done on Fridays, time permitting as well. The following will put forth the rules of Pro Wrestling Revival so that the fans can get themselves up to speed with the inner workings of Pro Wrestling Revival.
Ranking System:
Pro Wrestling Revival works off an interesting ranking system inspired by Chikara Pro. For every win a wrestler or team gets, they will get three points, but if they lose, they lose all their points and must start from scratch. 3 points will gain a championship match in the division they qualify for. In multi-man matches, 2 points will be gained by single wrestlers. This does not apply to the Pure or Internet Championships as they are done in different ways. Another way to gain a championship match is by pinning the champion in a non-title match or a tag match. If the champion loses the championship before this championship match happens, the former champion and the one that defeated them while they had the championship will meet one more time in a number 1 contender match. If a wrestler is beaten by the champion in a non-title match, they still lose all their points. Round robin tournament matches will still be subject to the ranking system, but single elimination style tournaments will not be set within the ranking system. Championship matches can also be gained via tournament or special event.
Match Setup:
Matches will be contested with a time limit, depending on placement on the card. The opener section of the card will be 20 minutes for singles, 30 minutes for tag and trios matches. Mid-card matches will be contested in 30 minutes for singles, 60 minutes for tags and trios. Main event matches are all 60 minute time limit matches. Time limits will be different for championship matches. DQs will be applicable, unless otherwise stated. 20 count will be used on the outside, unless otherwise stated.
Championships:
Pro Wrestling Revival Global Championship (Currently held by Shelton Benjamin):
The Global Championship is the top title within Pro Wrestling Revival and is in the heavyweight division. Matches are contested under 2 out of 3 falls rules, with each fall going under a 30 minute time limit with judges rendering a winner for each fall if it goes to the limit. Pinfall or submission during the fall will also win the match.
Pro Wrestling Revival Zero G Championship (Currently held by Will Ospreay):
The Zero G Championship is the Junior division of Pro Wrestling Revival. It will be contested under 2 out of 3 falls rules, with each fall going under a 30 minute time limit with judges rendering a winner for each fall if it goes to the limit. Pinfall or submission will also win the match.
Pro Wrestling Revival Pure Championship (Currently held by Will Ospreay):
The Pure Championship is contested under modified World Of Sports rules, with five 5-minute rounds that can be one by pinfall, submission, or 10 count KO. If the match goes past 5 rounds, judges will decide the winner based off the performance in the match. Contenders are decided by a once a month tournament at special Pure GP house shows, or if the champion is defeated in non-title action or pinned during a tag match.
Pro Wrestling Revival Internet Championship (Currently held by El Froggy Mask):
The Internet Championship is contended in a 15 minute time limit match, where pinfall or submission gains the victory. If the match reaches the 15 minute limit, judges will determine the winner based off performance in the match. 5 defenses will gain the champion the option to cash in the Internet Championship towards a shot at the Global Championship.
Pro Wrestling Revival Tag Team Championship (Currently Held By The Briscoes):
The Tag Team Championships will be defended in 2 out of 3 falls rules with a 60 minute time limit for each fall. If the fall reaches the limit, the judges will be used to determine the winners based off of performance in the fall. Pinfall or submission win the falls.
Pro Wrestling Revival Trios Championship (Currently Held by TenKoji and Liger):
The Trios Championships will be defended in 2 out of 3 falls rules with a 60 minute time limit for each fall. If the fall reaches the limit, the judges will be used to determine the winner based off of performance in the fall. Pinfall or submission wins the falls.
