So the new update with the DLC and everything pretty much killed my ability to reasonably enjoy simming the game.
Sucks but it's not surprising. I have an older PC and am going to replace it sometime in the near future anyway.
The thing is, I've invested quite a lot of time into FPW. More than some, less than many, but still literal days' worth of work.
I don't want to lose that.
Given that this is my first real PC game experience, I'm not sure how copying files onto a new HDD works. If I set up my Steam Account with permissions on the new PC, I'll be reinstalling the game from scratch, no? If that's the case, can I copy my current save to my new machine and use that, thus allowing me to pick up where I left off on the old one? Do I even have to copy to a HDD or does Steam have a Cloud feature?
Could someone lease help me figure this out so I don't lose 100+ hours because of stuff I never asked for in the first place (yeah, I'm just slightly bitter.....sorry....I'm better about it now than I was last week >_>)

C:\Users\elmarsh\AppData\LocalLow\spikechunsoft\FireProWrestlingWorld\ my head hurts Fire Pro Wrestling World's save data is stored by default in a folder matching this pattern:

^thanks
I got that
I was just wondering if copying from this machine then copying it to another (in the same file location) works
I know I can use a backup save for FPW since it's already installed on this PC
again, I appreciate that but I'm wondering if that will work when I move it to a new PC
I've never done this sort of sh....stuff before
I know that moving things between PlayStation consoles is a sometimey kind of deal in terms of save compatibility

If you have Steam Cloud on, all you have to do is install the game on your new pc and it will automatically load your save file from the cloud.
Still backup your save just in case but there should be no real hoops to jump through.

Thanks for that. I'll look into the Steam Cloud (not sure if on/off by default). I've been a bit exasperated by the deal but at least I know that when I get my new setup, I should be able to pick up where I left off. Thank you.
