So here's the $64,000 question how is this done?
So far i haven't had any issues with Non DLC edits on the DLC but is this something that needs to be done? I've gotten a few of Avengers DLC guys hes posted but i dont see what the difference is

It’s just the parts or moves he’s used in the edits... any edits created before the dlc will still work perfectly

I’ve split edits into non-DLC and DLC versions when adding a new part or move from the new NJPW stuff. In a lot of cases, it’s replacing multiple layers made to look like the ones Spike made specifically for those wrestlers or replacing a move that sort of fit, but wasn’t the real deal. If you don’t have the DLC, anything using a new part of move becomes unselectable. I would have loved to just keep updating the original versions uploaded, but locking out players without the DLC from using what they downloaded seems like a bad idea. For my stuff, any version with (No DLC) in the name won’t be updated further, and any changes will only be made in the (DLC) ones. If there’s no mention of DLC, that edit will work with or without DLC. |

To be fair, you’ve done really well to label all your new edits and make sure it’s got a dlc required banner on the edits page Are your NJPW edits you are uploading now, logic improvements of spikes versions or your own creations? |

Are your NJPW edits you are uploading now, logic improvements of spikes versions or your own creations? All of the edits I've been uploading with DLC are updated versions of my own. I took a look at their logic when the PS4 version was released to see what they did out of curiosity, but I haven't been paying any attention to what Spike used for logic when making edits and am not using their stuff as a base. |
