I've really been enjoying the mixture of edits you've been putting out. I haven't had a chance to get Pentagon in the ring yet, but I'm very much looking forward to it.

I could lie and say theres a method to my madness but I literally just make requests and random wrestlers who catch my eye. lol Nice as always. Have you booked your flight and seat for Morishimas return show yet?  O if only I had the 3 grand and passport...if only. Actually if I had enough money id sponsor his shows myself  I could max out my credit cards and abandon my job......tempting lol |

Out of curiosity, how familiar are you with the entrance music for some of the lesser known guys in the collection? Locating music for the GUTS roster, for example, seems especially difficult. Most of their shows appear to have the music muted for copyright reasons on YouTube, so I'm assuming it's something you'd only find out by attending a show?

If you get Japanese DVD's the musics not muted, granted I haven't done that in ages but least back in the day the music was included there. It seems to be muted more so on anything streamed online, as I've seen Japanese TV on sites like Moko Dojo and again Music is included in entrances. That being said Custom Entrance music isn't as big as it once was for anyone outside New Japan, NOAH, AJPW and DG. Since it takes actually paying a writer and musician. However some guys have their own music, mostly old FMW guys or guys that where once in a major promotion still use their customs. Most indy wrestlers however just use various (mostly American) rock and metal. Which honestly can change from fed to fed or show to show. I recall the Brahman Brothers from Michinoku using Hard Rock hallelujah by Lordi for awhile. Some veteran indy guys like Yuko Miyamoto use the same song at every show. His being 1 Night Carnival by Kishidan But all that aside I honestly dont use too much custom music. Sure my Morishima and Satoshi Kojima have their actual music but I found and downloaded all the old Returns music and some other copyright free generic music for my edits. I just dont have the time to find and download and clip music for 400 edits. heres a example of the free music I use besides Returns, |

I've just been the default FPWW songs for anyone I couldn't find music for, so the generic music will spice things up a bit. It's funny you mention the Brahman Brothers, because they were a couple of the guys I had trouble finding entrance information for. That led me to discovering Xylot Themes, a database that lists all known entrance music for tons of wrestlers. Unfortunately, it's still lacking in the current-day Japanese indy department. It looks like the same people who created the song you posted have a handful of other "Japanese Battle Music" songs too. I'll probably fill in the blanks with those and some generic rock/metal songs. I appreciate the help! |

Its definitely working, however you're doing it! Its a good spread. You've got most (all?) of the main NJPW players, some US and UK indy guys, some super obscure (to me at least) Japanese indy guys, NOAH/DG/W1 guys, etc, etc, etc. In summary, keep it up. :) |
