Oh, yes. Hello there. Back on the unmentionable forum, I had a thread going for bookings for two of SHTCW:a's titles, the LUCHA CROWN and NO LIMITS Championships. Well, it's a new day, yes it is. Under new (old) management SHTCW:a is opening its ranks to everyone. Yes, everyone. If you would like to see your edits booked on SHTCW:a's bi-weekly shows, this is the place to do it. I still have note of everyone who previously submitted edits to be in SHTCW:a's divisions but I would very much appreciate seeing those names in here again as a refresher—or, hey, submit new edits if you'd like. So, here's the breakdown:
SHTCW:a Championships/Divisions:
LUCHA CROWN:
High-flying division focused on lucha action. I am not opposed to non-traditional styles. The main thing is these edits are fun and vibrant and bring a lot of personality to the ring. I have a soft limit of about 150 points for most of my luchas and would like edits that top out at that threshold to keep things competitive. I'll also be pretty meticulous about how edits look as I like to keep my lucha matches faster and shorter. NO LIMITS: The deathmatch/garbage division. The rules for this division are pretty fast and loose, really, especially when it comes to points spread. This is organized chaos at best and these matches are just supposed to be fun. I'll obviously be checking in on your edit and don't want the dreaded CEMENT edit but I expect some of these edits to be hardy, tough motherfuckers. I don't want them going 10-0 in sims but hey whatever if they're fun and bleed I like 'em. That said, and this is a total personal thing: don't make an edgy tryhard Crow ripoff I probably won't like them. Unless that is a deliberate character choice and everyone is in on the fact that this character SUCCCCCKKKSSSS. TAG TEAM DIVISION:Yep. Opening it up to tag teams. Tag team matches are very hard to get right in Fire Pro so I'm up for giving a bit of leeway but these matches can definitely drag. That's helped by refs but I will admittedly be a bit picky about tag teams because the matches can take up a lot of time and sometimes aren't the most fun to watch. Also: don't just throw a team together. Give me cohesion or interesting odd-couple teams. Don't just throw your two best edits together for the sake of winning gold. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP:Open to everyone of every size and gender. I will be meticulous here for the sake of match quality and these ought to be your "aces", but hey, I'm also happy to highlight some of your personal edits you love who don't get a chance to shine. WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:- Up to six edits, one edit per division* (*LUCHA CROWN can have up to three entries [if you only have lucha edits or deathmatch edits or whatever make an argument and convince me to let you get more slots; one place I won't budge is the World Championship division], tag teams count as one edit/one slot)
- Bios/Information for all edits
- Links to MP3s/Youtube links (with proper cuts, if needed) for theme songs

Well, you inquired to me about it previously, so I'll be sociable and throw my hat in.
Just let me get everything situated with the DLC update and I can probably hand off a few Lucha(resu) and potentially throw Sev into.. I guess the World Champ scene?
Maybe a No Limits. Maybe.

Last I recall I'd tossed Mercy Devine in for the No Limits division. I don't recall if I ever sent in anyone for the lucha division, I might double-check and see if someone I have could be re-tooled into a proper lucha edit at some point.
I could very easily throw the Rising Storm at you, as they've been established for a good while (And Anahera is still on this kick of "get ALL the gold".) But I may give this some more thought in the near future, as well.
Basically, I'll figure out what to throw your way soon. Mercy can continue to do her thing, though. That division is like a second or third home for her.

For the Lucha Division: 
“Perfection” Jack Gold
Billed from: Los Angeles, California
A former gymnast and briefly a Hollywood stuntman, Jack Gold is turning to a new profession, pro wrestling. Originally a part of the Baron Wrestling School (before it integrated with WPW), Gold was kicked out for prioritizing flash and high spots over technique. That didn’t stop Tank from taking a risk and signing him because, regardless, the talent is undeniable and with a little experience Jack could be the start of a promising junior division in Warrior Pro.
For the No Limits Division: Loco DixonBilled: Santa Fe, New MexicoGrowing up watching Lucha POWER on TV, Danny Dixon wanted nothing more than to become a professional wrestler. Self-trained, Dixon joined various backyard wrestling groups who posted videos on Youtube. Eventually Dixon graduated to small time hardcore wrestling feds under the name “Loco” Dixon. Still inspired by the lucha of his youth (as evidenced by his home made lucha mask) but without any formal training, Loco Dixon mixes a daredevil style with a brutal thirst for blood that makes him extremely dangerous when he enters the ring. Vic “The Technician” Baron
Billed from: San Antonio, TexasVic “The Technician” Baron is a pro wrestling lifer. A third generation star, Vic has been wrestling all over the world since he was 18. Growing up around the sport, Vic has seen it all- and your new up and comers do not impress him. What Vic does care about is winning, generally by submission, but he’ll suplex you to death if that’s your preference. While his approach is methodical and textbook, he has yet to reach the top of any promotion he’s worked. The expectation is that Warrior Pro will finally allow him to capture the gold that will move him beyond the large shadow cast by the Baron wrestling dynasty. (NOTE: Vic has had a rough go at it in Warrior Pro, losing multiple opportunities to fight for the championship. A change of scenery would do him good.)

Big ol' bump as SHTCWA has had some changes recently, what with things being reorganized and a stable system now in play. So if you're envisioning someone fitting with a specific stable please let me know.
Would love to see more names come around. Even more than that with a new prospects/academy system in play I'd lovelovelove to see some new young talent come along. I'm envisioning that these entries won't have any pre-established characters, really. They'll be, well, young lions/lionesses who will be shaped through the academy and who I'm happy to work with you to shape.

For the Lucha Crown division : chrome-03, a trio/stable of three masked men wrestling a lucharesu style. Obviously not much else is known about them. ( theme song needs a few seconds of wait time with the ModSuite) For the No Limits division : Brent Bennett, the Bloodrider. This beefy guy has grown watching ECW and FMW and now he's here to draw blood. His favorite saying : "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight ; you'll lose." ( theme song)
For the Tag Team division : Federico and 999. These two Canadian cruiserweights and fellow Oshawians had moderate success on the indies until they met on a tour in Japan. They formed a team that is now known as The Oshawa Connection and they're on a path to glory. ( theme song)
For the World Championship division : Money Montgomery. This boxer from Washington, MD decided to learn the ropes, train in kickboxing for a while and joined a couple local feds where he got quickly noticed for his physique and his powerhouse style. ( theme song needs a few seconds of wait time with the ModSuite) |
