I changed the DVD and Original Power bomb since the DVD is so close to the Time Bomb anyway. For the small grapple I replaced the guard pull with toe kick b, a nice set up move. Did he even do the Canadian Destroyer that often? In my few years of watching NJ I can't remember him doing it that often, if ever Once you swap out those moves for his two new ones he still has a crazy set of front big moves I did get rid of the Guard Position in the end, I just swapped it out for an elbow stomp as once he got into Large is was just nuts He does it fairly regularly in big matches, but usually as a counter. On the other hand, he doesn't really do a plain old DVD at all - he does the one into the turnbuckle, and the Dynamite Plunger, which is sort of like a DVD/Emerald Flowsion and still not in the game. If I had to narrow it down to 5, I'd definitely go with the Super Kick, D, Nightmare of D (I think he actually calls it the D Driver), Time Bomb, and then probably the DVD.

I got rid of the DVD since it’s not the turnbuckle version and I like the super kick as kind of a set up move. While the “D” is awesome it would have been better IMO if they had just made the triangle a regular ground move for general use. and then you could Priority the Frankensteiner into it for Hiromu

You can also add La Campana as La Mascara’s finisher.

using my moveset database (http://www.criticalclub.com/thread/424/moveset-database)......i found some other uses for the moves ... That's super helpful, thank you so much! ...about your moveset DB: have you thought putting that on Excel for easy filter\search functions? im not familiar with Excel. But other ppl have suggested this to me. currently i just use notepad, and a file searcher program WinGrep32.

Just to confirm the moves added in patch 2.06.9(Rainmaker Through etc) are in the ps4 version already. The original list has them released on the same potential date as the junior dlc for ps4 but they're already in :)

Noob. What’s the purpose of the Rainmaker Through? Is it meant to transition to some other move or is it simply there for the purpose of having a “complete” moveset?

The intention seems to of been for it to transition into standing strikes (cutters, mist, spear, etc.) But it seems kind of finnicky because of the amount of daze state that happens from the move goes away very fast. I personally have been using it to link with taunts with some success. Rainmaker Through -> the naito lay down taunt is really funny (shoutouts to aroo for that idea)

Nia Jax does a ripcord clothesline. So i gave her the Rainmaker Through...and the Clothesline as one of her heavy strikes. Its not totally smooth. But it def works i dont have a Moose edit yet. But im going to get one and give him Rainmaker Through and a discus clothesline for his finisher

The assumption behind the Rainmaker Through is probably that players will actively make up their own sequences. But that's another blunder for Spike, expecting their community to actually PLAY the game. :P

When did the opponent down/face up/standing at head Iron Claw become a pin? Randomly noticed this during a sim last night between Texas Tornado and Honky Tonk Man. Tornado Punch -> Face up at head Iron Claw 1, 2, 3?
To make sure I wasn't crazy I played a match, replicated the same outcome.
It's a very, very cool change. I totally dig it.

The old version still exists, too, so you have options as to how you want it to work. I love little subtle changes like that, little move splices or changes to how a move works. They take very little in terms of resources to make, but can open up interesting possibilities for how things can work together.

Someone in my e-fed wants to be more based on the human tornado. One of the things he does is the pop lock. I can kind of simulate it by using the rainmaker through into a dance taunt. :) I've gotten too much use out of this move already and keep finding more.
