If I stay offline on the 2nd computer? Also assuming I should do any editing or updating on the offline version otherwise I won't be able to merge the saves once the new modsuite comes out.

I'm planning on not updating one PC so I can continue to use freem's save tool to import appearances. I think we can just mark the game as "do not update" but idk how that will work with the other PC(s)

as a heads up the install for update says the save file is not compatible with prior versions of the game. so make any adjustments you need with that in mind

FYI - “Waiting until the Modsuite updates” is not a choice, because it’s not going to happen. Unless you have it on two computers, you must choose one or the other. There are ways for modders to share edits, only not on Steam. But once you update, there’s no return without an older game copy.
I know my choice and am fine with it. But don’t expect the ModSuite to happen.

You can have two different PC's run different versions, but the 1.02 version will need to be in "offline" mode from steam (its what I"m currently doing).
