It's been long enough that I can't remember if the official edits are shit or not. I thought I heard some more knowledgeable players being pleasantly surprised.... guess I will find out

That's cool. I wasn't initially going to buy this because I have it on PS4, but it will come in handy since I'm now porting over Lord Worm's edits to the PC version.
$20 isn't so bad. I might pull the trigger early next month. |

Updated my early post about how this runs in Linux/Proton. Is no one else having an issue with the game running massively slowly during matches? I've never had an issue with it before, and it runs pretty smoothly in all the menus, but as soon as you get a wrestler on screen, it slows down to like, under half speed. Match, move set screen, wrestler select...anywhere there's a wrestler, he animates, like, super slow. I'm not having that issue. Did you check the match settings to see if it's set on whatever speed you normally use? |

It is. I actually went in and set it to 200 to see if that helps, and it's actually...almost right? It's almost normal speed, except sometimes it's like it starts to catch up and runs a hair too fast. Still brutal in the menus (with wrestlers) though.
I'm doing the "verify game files" thing on steam to see if something is borked at that level. That fixed the only time I had an issue (which I can't remember the nature of) once before.

I really want to, but I think I'll wait for the mod suite to be updated? I'm glad it finally came out, though.

The game is running smoother than the early access versions for me. I dunno.

So far so good. It is running very nicely. Looking at the logic and the edits don't look too screwy. Makabe's face still looks stupid tho

I do video production, and my best friend is an indy ring announcer who worked for PWF (Steve Corino's promotion). I was working on the trons mod and we were going to get him to do an announcer mod package for various promotions. I just finished my Benzilla Tron tonight. Bummer. Oh well, it will be nice to have the new content, hopefully one day when Carlzilla or someone else is able, we will see this game modded again. I will just save these videos. This game will rock when it's done.
