So I've been reading up and frankly was a little stunned by the closure of Telltale. I've been a fan of there games since the first season of Walking Dead and and have bought a number of there games. Also saddened and angered to hear about how they treated there staff in light of the closure. But my real conundrum is what to do about this last season of WD. Should I purchase the final season knowing there won't be a conclusion? Or should I just walk away with the memories I already have and be thankful for what we got?

Walk away is my suggestion. Better to think up your own conclusion, instead of starting on the last season and ending on a cliff hangar.

Yeah, it seems that them closing is definitely for the better. It's a real shame too, as I enjoyed The Wolf Among Us (which was the whole reason I got into the Fables series, of which I've read EVERYTHING) and was really looking forward to the sequel. That enjoyment isn't worth it coming from a company that just kicked 250 to the curb without any sort of warning or severance. Utterly disgusting.

Unless another company picks up the rights, which happens all the time.
Hell, fucking THQ Nordic bought back the rights to Titan Quest and put out an expansion after a decade, much less their acquirement of Kingdoms of Amalur and Alone in the Dark in the past two weeks.

Dude I loved the Batman series they had. Next to WD it was one of my most anticipated games series. And next to the Arkham games was one of my favorite batman games ever. So sad it had to end this way. All we can do is pray for the devs caught up in this. Thanks for the advice guys

Well the latest news says they are keeping enough employees on long enough to finish The Walking Dead season off, which is good because I already bought the season pass for it, although it was only $20 so even if it doesn't end up coming it was only some pocket change.

It's shocking they had 250 employees. That's AAA studio numbers and everything outside of TWD Season 1 & Minecraft was considered an internal failure. Did they just think that the VC money would last forever?
