Has the initial downloading screen (on Steam) been taking longer and longer to load for anyone else the last several weeks?

If you mean the update executer when you first log onto your pc, then no - it’s sweet as a nut for me Have you got new software installed that runs on start up and could be using a lot of memory on start up? That’d slow the steam update scan down |

Oh sorry, don’t know why I didn’t get you meant that one - no problems from me there either, I’m downloading about 750 items and it’s done fairly quickly, I’d say sub 20 seconds easily but could be even quicker

It comes down to how many edits do you got in the save. If you have cache activated it will take longer as well.

I typically always have cache active, but every once in a while it has to re-cache for some reason and it takes a good while. No idea what triggers the cache to get cleared.

I have been having the same issue on PS4, and haven't downloaded any new edits. Odd.
