This is now the general thread for AWF. All live shows are watchable here, with the archives (and Fight Night shows) uploaded and watchable here. History
AWF was started on June 12th, 2005 as SCWF, referring to the fact that shows were run exclusively in South Carolina, it's first champion and current owner, Insanity, held that title in his first reign for 729 days, the longest title reign of any kind in the promotion's history, a record that still stands to this day, with only one other reign ever coming within 100 days of matching it.
In 2008, the SCWF went national and became the AWF, entering a Golden Age which lasted for 6 years. This saw the likes of Steve Storm, Keith Syxx, Bowzy, Eric Bell, and Richard Anderson rise to prominence, while original members such as Insanity and Robert The Destroyer stayed prominent.
In 2014, a mass walkout caused it all to come crashing down. This lasted from 2014 to 2016, and ended when Insanity, realizing that the ship he had sailed for nearly a decade was sinking, took charge of the promotion.
In 2017, 5 wrestlers single handedly started a revolution in the fed, those 5 being Kenny Omega, Matt Wolf, A2J, Cody, and Marty Scurll. A2J, Matt Wolf, and Kenny Omega all tore it apart in the 2017 Retribution tournament, with A2J and Matt Wolf going to the finals, and then Kenny and Cody had an amazing trilogy of matches at Empire 11, Domination, and Empire 12. This trilogy, as well as A2J vs Matt Wolf, changed the entire landscape of the fed, with a bigger emphasis on what happened in the ring.

Results from AWF Return III NIGHT TWO:
British Strong Style retained their 6 Man Tag Team Championships via time limit draw, for me, the real breakout star from this is Trent Seven, withstanding all 3 members of the Deadly Alliance for nearly 25 minutes.
Firing Squad def. Golden Elite
Tomohiro Ishii def. Minoru Suzuki, this was probably the most classic strong style match on the card.
L.I.J def. Tencozy to become the 7th AWF Tag Team Champions in a very good back and forth match, even getting one of those shiny 100%'s.
The Ace def. Jimmy Havoc to retain his AWF LIVE Championship, there was a pretty brutal moment where Jimmy just repeatedly bludgeoned The Ace with a Barbed Wire bat.
KUSHIDA def. BUSHI to retain his AWF Cruiserweight Championship
and in the main event, Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Kenny Omega to become the 20th AWF World Heavyweight Champion, in what was, in my opinion, the match of the night. This was extremely unpredictable, there were moments where it looked like Omega would win and where they would somehow go to a time limit draw, but in the end, Tana won, and became the first Japanese AWF World Heavyweight Champion.
NIGHT ONE:
FIRST ROUND Kenny Omega def. Vasago Keith Syxx def. Cody, This match was really unpredictable, and looked like a very good contestant for MOTN. Tetsuya Naito def. Zack Kent, this match was probably the hardest match of the night. Lee Wilcox def. The Ace Kazuchika Okada def. A2J, this was definitely the match of the first round. Chris Jericho def. Jay Lethal, there was a pretty cool moment where Jericho blocked a kick by smacking Lethal's shin with a chair. Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Andrew Storms, this was probably the most unpredictable match on the 1st round, there were several moments where Storms looked like he had it, but just couldn't capitalize. Michael White def. Tama Tonga
SECOND ROUND Kenny Omega def. Keith Syxx, for me, it's a tie between this, Omega's match with Naito, and Tana's semifinals for what the best match of the night was, this match was extremely unpredictable. Tetsuya Naito def. Lee Wilcox Kazuchika Okada def. Chris Jericho, although not as good as their first encounter in the Retribution 32 in my opinion, this was still a stellar encounter. Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Michael White, this match was also extremely unpredictable, and a match I regret not seeing live.
SEMIFINALS Kenny Omega def. Tetsuya Naito, this was an extremely close second for Match of the night Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Kazuchika Okada, this was MOTN for me, and probably the most unpredictable match of the night, both Tana and Okada were excellent choices to spearhead a new era of AWF.

I mentioned last time that you should keep to a single thread. There's no need to keep making new ones for each separate event. Last time I'll say it.

Last-minute card change for AWF Blood, Sweat, and Tears So, the header has said it all, one match has been changed out of necessity. Due to Norazo not being able to create his character in time for his match with Tomohiro Ishii for the AWF Intercontinental Championship, that match has been replaced with Roppongi 3K defending their AWF Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships against Tyson Kingsbury and Bobby Sampson. Norazo will also be taken out of the 8G Cup, but I promise that Norazo will defend his AWF Intercontinental Championship at our next PPV, Outnumbered.
Insanity, signing off.

I went ahead and did Night One so I could have my birthday off, so here's the recap of that. As always, if I have any personal opinions, they will be here as well. The entire show is watchable here because Restream botched and the entire thing ended up streamed to my YT. Jose Aviles got a by into the semifinals due to A2J no-showing the event, A2J was suspended afterwards.
Kota Ibushi def. Michael White, this match was hard hitting and rough, with some particularly nasty kick exchanges.Andrew Storms def. Tama TongaTrent Seven def. Cody, even though he didn't win the tournament, Trent Seven was definitely the MVP of the entire night, he wrestled 3 times, with a combined time of 1:20:39 (that's in ONE FUCKING NIGHT), and got 100% evaluation on every match. Oh yeah, the actual match. The actual match was, at least to me, match of the night.Jose Aviles def. Kota Ibushi, this was a pretty David vs Goliath style match, if Goliath fit into the role of Acrofatic and also actually beat david.Trent Seven def. Andrew Storms
Jose Aviles def. Trent Seven, Seven's loss can be somewhat attributed to fatigue, but Aviles definitely took the fight to him either way and probably would've won if Seven was fresh anyway. a close 2nd for Match of the Night.

Blood, Sweat, and Tears (Night 2) RecapNight 2 is over, and a lot of stuff happened, so let's just get right into it. If I have any opinions on a match, as always, they will be here (same with post-match occurrences) Archive here. Zack Kent def. Minoru Suzuki to retain his AWF Strong Style Championship, before calling out Andrew Lee to challenge for his title.
Tyson Kingsbury and Bobby Sampson def. Roppongi 3K to become the 4th AWF Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, after the match they challenged Roppongi 3K to a rematch, which they accepted.
Kota Ibushi, Cody, and The Young Bucks def. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tencozy, and Jaden Bennett
Pete Dunne def. Henrik Waris to become the 8th AWF LIVE Champion
Dick and Balls def. LIJ to become the 8th AWF Tag Team Champions
KUSHIDA def. Taiji Ishimori to retain his AWF Cruiserweight Championship, KUSHIDA pulled out 2 suicide dives and a Air Raid Crash/Backflip Driver onto a chair in a short, but very fun and fast paced match.
And in the main event, Kenny Omega def. Jose Aviles to retain his AWF US Championship, after the match he was approached by the inaugural AWF US Champion, Andrew Storms, before being blasted from behind by Jaden Bennett. Storms joined the beatdown, before Deuce, Peter Holms, and Andrew Lee rushed down to stop the beatdown, before joining in on it themselves. Backstage, Jaden said he was coming for the US title, before all 5 men made a collective statement; "We are Unit 1."

AWF Outnumbered 2018 RecapAWF Outnumbered 2018 is officially in the books, and here is the recap of it. Archive can be watched here, although one match is missing due to excessive EAT SHITS. British Strong Style to become the 2nd 6 Man Tag Team Champions, before being challenged by Unit 1.Marty Scurll def. Zack Kent with a score of 2:0 to become the 1st C!C PS4 Champion, and if I have to summarize this match in a few words, i'd say "30 minutes of absurdly high drama." it's a tie between the drama of this and the intensity of our next match for my pick on Match of the Night. Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Kota Ibushi to retain his AWF World Heavyweight Championship, afterwards calling out Tetsuya Naito for a championship match at New Year's Bash.

AWF Strong Style Title vacated At Outnumbered, after the wear and tear of both the 8G Cup and having to pull double duty (in one match that was 2/3 falls, no less,) Zack Kent went down with a knee injury (a partial ACL tear) and cannot meet title defense standards of at least one defense every 2 months. Therefore, the Strong Style championship has been vacated, and a new champion will be crowned at Felwinter. With that said, I would like to announce the challengers, and our 2nd match for Felwinter;
