Wondering what will you guys do with the NJPW DLC I'm a PC user we're still waiting for it.
Will you balance the NJPW roster to fit with your own edits or will you balance your custom edits to fit with the NJPW roster.
For me I'll change some logic to fit with the kind of wrestling that I like to make them stall more and not be so cement.
But I'll use their stat/parameter distribution as an example for my wrestler edits so it's balanced.

There's a 99% chance I never use them and just buy the DLC for the parts/moves.

There's a 99% chance I never use them and just buy the DLC for the parts/moves. Pretty much this. I can't remember the last time I used the default roster in any wrestling game regularly... except maybe WWF Warzone or WWF Attitude, and even then, it was pretty sparingly. These days though, I tend to build my own fantasy roster(s) of original characters since it's easier and more fun for me to do. Wrestling games and the actual thing are two separate entities, for me, anyways.

I'm actually really happy with my current roster of NJPW edits, i've tweaked them over a long period of time and they look and play exactly how I want them to now.. I expect i'll just do what everyone else seems to be doing, and cherry-picking the edit parts and moves and updating my current roster with those.

I'm curious to see how their Logic has evolved. Especially considering this is Matsumoto's first go-round as director and he's a fanboy himself who enjoys simming. That said, I'm not expecting to be blown away by their logic. I expect they'll play fairly decently against in Fighting Road.
Like everyone else, though, I'm more excited about the new moves and edit parts than anything else. Although I'm super eager to play through Fighting Road until Fire Promoter is released.

Probably. Not a fan of the current NJPW product much but I'm still a big fan of most of the roster.
It most likely won't be too difficult, either, as a lot of the NJPW edits are *half* way there logic wise (i.e. the Okada that's almost respectably back-gated to go for the rainmaker after the endless german except for the part where they thought they REALLLY needed the dropkick in yet another position)

I'll cannibalize them for moves, parts and voices then throw them in to garbage bin with the other defaults. Already have my own Njpw edits and the ability to play through Fighting Road with them instead.

Unless they are absolutely awful I plan to use them. It will free up about 40 downloaded spots so i can focus on adding edits from Modern All Japan or Noah. I plan to combine the default New Japan Roster with New Japan workers who are not part of the DLC

I'll use the new parts and moves with my own NJPW edits, and use the others as bases for new ones.

I have some NJPW roster, but I will probably just start over from the DLC characters and make my own copy from there to match up logic and parameters to how I do it.

Realistically, since I'm doing an all fantasy save, I'll reforge them into fictionalized versions that are balanced to work with my own edits while still trying to keep logic and movesets intact. They'll most likely end up being the basis for one of my three big Japanese companies.

In comparison to returns these edits are better. Some guys still have their big moves a tad too high, but its not like the big spam in returns. There are also some holds like Boston crab and headlock that are too high in the large damage.
Parameters are also much higher than the scale I use.
Overall an improvement but I'll still be remaking them all to fix those issues and add more attires.
