Give them giant style and giant return. You then need to toon ukemi to your liking. It will need to be pretty low. For my Yokozuna, i went cement style 0 0 0. He is the only one i did that for and i am satisfied. His hight is large since giant is too tall. He rarely ever gets picked up, wins about 85-90% of his matches without the need of a ukemi boost.

if my ukemi is 10/10/10, that doesnt give much room for breathing, so I turned up Disrection to 70% to allow some time for breathing. Ukemi has nothing to do with breathing. Ukemi is how often they'll purposely take a move. ....right, and I thought that was directly tied into the breathing mechanic?

If that's the case, what DOES the throw/suplex defense parameter do? I've seen wrestlers shrug off kicks/punches and throws I thought that was a combination of size and parameters Throw defense affects the final damage calculation of throw moves. Giant style increases move reversal rate, but doesn't prevent slams from happening.

I'm reaching a frustration point, thought I'd reach out for some advice. The plan is simple: I'd like my Andre, John Studd and Bundy to NOT be slammed and suplexed around the ring all match, but I can't seem to find the sweet spot in the settings. So far I've tinkered with: Giant style (and return) Adapt (to give them a boost so they arent suplexed as much I've cranked their defensive throw stat to ten I've even lowered their Ukemi to 10/10/10 Is this an uphill battle? Any advice you can give? Thanks! Adapt does not make it so they aren't suplexed as much. Throw makes them take less damage from throws, but they'll still take some damage. Frankly, I'd lower throw and impact defense to 1 or 2 for a giant wrestler, because their bodies are not meant to be thrown around like that. ANY ukemi above 0 means they have a chance of selling a move that they'd normally reverse when losing a grapple. The best you can do is heed that last point as advice - reduce ukemi entirely, to reduce any RNG fuckery and also eliminate any chance of a babyface comeback. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but you can't make an invincible giant who never leaves his feet. Really? That's not how its described on screen. Exact words are: give a higher rate to avoid suplexes and power moves.

Higher rate to avoid their criticals if someone has Crit Power or Technical.

Really? That's how its described on screen. Exact words are: higher rate to avoid suplexes and power moves. Ah, right. That's a pretty obtuse and unhelpful translation. :/ What it actually does is drastically reduce the chance of a critical off of a wrestler who uses suplex (i.e. release German suplexes, belly-to-back suplexes, etc.) or power criticals (i.e. release powerbombs, crushing moves like the avalanche press and back flip, etc.), I think by 25-50%. It should also be noted that it does absolutely nothing to a wrestler who has finisher critical and uses one of such moves as their finisher.

Ukemi has nothing to do with breathing. Ukemi is how often they'll purposely take a move. ....right, and I thought that was directly tied into the breathing mechanic? Yeah, not really. So the thing with Ukemi is, they use it in the game to describe you, the player, holding a button to purposely take a move. That's accurate. Ukemi for CPU logic is the percentage of the game's automatic reversals the CPU will forgo. So, if you haven't noticed already, the reversals in the game are automatic, without player input. They're based on the random number generator and not anything you really do. So it'll do very, very little in the way of what you're really looking for here. Breathing is, like many have said, directly tied with discretion. When your opponent is down or outside of the ring they'll take a breather depending on that setting. This mostly impacts top rope dives, moves to downed opponents and dives to the outside.
