I agree with the sentiment in theory, but adding the patch moves for certain wrestlers did give me a nice chance to get under the hood of the official SPIKE NJPW roster and tinker with their original movesets, parameters, & logic. I was generally pleased with what I saw, but some things (like really inconsistent interference stats and very low discretion, even for top guys) had me scratching my head a bit.

For Fale in particular, combined with his Power critical, it also puts him in a situation where he has to try and end a match quickly or else he'll peter out. The front facelock aspect of discretion only has three levels, 0-33, 34-66, 67-100... or so.

Yeah, I get that, too... even with Omega it makes sense because of his more reckless style, but Discretion in the 35-40 range for long match masters Tanahashi and Okada as well? Also, I think it's Tanahashi whose default has a 75% interference rate... DAFUQ? ;-)

Not yet. I may post them in bulk once I go through everyone. So far I've completed Okada, Naito, Tana, Suzuki (some odd move choices for him, in particular), EVIL, Taguchi, Despy, ZSJ, Makabe, & Honma. Didn't do too much costume-wise, definitely want to get the red haired & black pantsed BrokenOkada done up all purrty-like. -DA

More main roster updates/tweaks to come, then I'm probably going to do what I do "best" and start with Showa era wrestlers and chronological 90s edits for AJPW/NJPW. firepro-w.com/user/profile/The_Dynamic_A

Does your Okada edit have back jumping elbow?

Does your Okada edit have back jumping elbow? He has the new running Euro Uppercut, the counter back elbow, and turnbuckle running back elbow. The running back elbow move he does isn’t in the game, but I think you mean the running Euro.

I b'lieve tellitb is referring to the day 1 patch move for the jumping back elbow corner running attack. It is intended for Okada, also handy for Marufuji and quite a few others. Now, why they chose to add that over something more signature for Okada like the dropkick to opponent on the top turnbuckle... this I do not know ;-)
