Lots of updates...
I've been continuing to play around with arena textures. I have an official post up top with all of them- going to keep working on bios for each arena over time. You can check them out here: criticalclub.com/post/8464/thread
Bunch of guys got smaller updates, specifically logic reworks for guys with C2C moves in the hopes of seeing them a little more often. Others also got some small visual tweaks. A few of the more noticeable updates:
Tank McDaniel: Long overdue for a logic update, he's now ready to rock for the Old Man show Senator is gearing up for.
Brick: I retired his original attire. I really like his more updated second attire, so I shifted stuff around and now his second attire is just a t-shirt.
Rampage: With his championship reign comes an update to his promo attire...
Lobo Muerte I always intended to give him tatoos, and now he has them. His second attire also got a little update...
And finally, I've been plugging away at the Young Guns, and pretty sure they'll be up and ready to go in the next week or so. I'm excited about all three of these guys and how they sim, and they should play a role in Warrior Pro very soon. Still doing some last tweaks and their bios need to be flushed out, but here is an extended preview:
Byron "Prime Time" Worthy
Billed out of Los Angeles, CA, Worthy is a NCAA champion collegiate wrestler trying to make the transition to pro wrestling. Cocky, arrogant, and brimming with talent, the main roster is going to have their hands full...
Danny Angelo
Billed out of Oakland, CA, Danny is an aggressive athletic big man who's become quick friends with Rampage Hunter. He has future main event written all over him.
Markus Winters (formerly Luke Casey)
Billed from Denmark, Markus believes he is a direct descendant of Viking Kings. He may not be playing with a full deck but he is fearless and a tough opponent for anyone.

Love Rampage's new attire, he's got some style to go with that big leap to the ace role that he's claimed. I support Doc, but I can't deny that Rampage has earned my respect as of late, no doubt there. Worthy and Mr. Moonsault must meet some day. I bet he shows up when it's Showtime...

So a small but significant (at least to me) update. After keeping all my edits as mutes, I finally got around to adding voice clips to everyone. I've been rolling out the updates slowly over the past week or so, so if you've simmed any of my guys you've probably already noticed. My strategy was to not go over the top, mostly adding various grunts to accentuate moves being performed. I also tend to have the voice volume low relative to my crowd noise so the sounds blend in better. We'll see long term how it works out, and I'll probably keep tweaking over the next couple weeks to make sure no one gets annoying. Also, Lucha POWER's home base got an update, specifically the ramp and side "curtains"...

Big ol update tonight. - I'm slowly "MMA proofing" everyone, giving them a more thoughtful moveset for those positions. Most of my roster doesnt initiate mounts or anything, but this should better round out their matches when facing someone that does. - Rampage got a mini logic overhaul, mainly to his prios that had a few goofy things going on (my excuse for his results in the Doc match)
- John Logan and Roy Carter got haircuts and attire updates. Roy even got a suit, given that he's hanging out with Doc and slowly getting full of himself, I think that came out well: And finally- my rookies have been posted. These guys have been tested more than anyone else on my roster, and I'm really happy with how they sim. Full warning, they're still a little "stiff" so I might continue making tweaks for the next couple weeks (or forever). Each rookie starts out with a full gear attire and a "wrestling school" attire complete with Baron Wrestling school shirt.
Full Bios are in the first post, but heres a summary of each: Byron Worthy: a amateur wrestling stud that uses his strength and technique to toss guys around and get them too the ground Trey Taylor: a submission stud that will focus on working technical spots, go for rollups, and try and finish people off with the cross arm chicken wing Markus WInter: A brawler, his style hasnt changed much from his "Luke Casey" Star in the Jar appearance Danny Angelo: An attempt at more of an athletic big man- not quite Mike Awesome, but in that vein

So its been… too long since I last touched this thread. I’ve been quietly releasing updates to guys, but tonight I posted a big one. Everyone has been updated and uploaded. Most of it was QoL updates, cleaning up logic and making sure guy are pacing correctly. I’m still trying to get tag teams to pace better (they mostly are) and get front grapple finishers to fire off more consistently (better but still a WIP). I also noticed that I was making everyone’s skin tone overly pale- so I’ve taken steps to try and “flush out” the roster (eh? eeeh?). A few guys got minor/major visual updates: And Lucha POWER finally has a few fresh new faces. If you’re following along you’ll recognize Nightmare Clown (who I’ve been teasing for a while now). Diego Guerrero is a brand new edit that should be debuting in the near future, and Paco Pequeno should not be used as anything other than a manager (unless you want a literal slap fight). All three only have one attire for now, but I plan on expanding that sooner than later. I’ll be updating the main roster section of this thread at some point to add the new guys, complete with bios, at some point. I’m playing around with the idea of making simpler preview pics, since updating what I’m doing now is more trouble than its worth. Maybe just rip off Dan’s baseball card idea (or more likely something similar but different). Oh! And as a bonus, here is a sneak peak at a new efed project I’ve been working on…

Working on some house cleaning of this thread, and decided to create some trading cards for my roster. My OCD will probably have me reorganizing the first couple posts in this thread this week, but for now you can check out the whole Warrior Pro set in the first post. I stuck a small preview below. The Lucha POWER roster will likely get done later this week (special thanks to amsterDAN for letting me steal his idea)...

I went and updated the Lucha POWER roster with trading cards as well (you can see all of them in the front post). Eventually my goal is to have them link to the workshop, but that might take a couple days. Heres a couple cards as a preview if you're too lazy to scroll back up to the start of the thread...

I LOVE those trading cards and the graphical style/filters you used! GOTTA CATCH (AS CATCH CAN) 'EM ALL! 😁 Great facial expressions here!

Ok so I've been brewing a few edit updates (as well as a few new guys/gals). But in the meantime I've been doing some venue work: Redesigned Arena de Antiguo, Lucha POWER's home digs: And a cleanup/update to the San Jose Arena where Warrior Pro's PPV events take place:
