I haven't played Fire Pro since I last boot up Returns on MYMC on my Mac almost a year ago, and I've had to wait over a year since it first launched on Steam to play, but it definitely looks like it'll be worth it.

The story mode is going to have... a lot of plot branches, it seems. If you liked No Mercy's story, I feel like this is up your alley, with some extra wrinkles like your match quality likely affecting story progression. If you're not a Best Bout Machine, how are you going to get your final showdown with Okada or Kenny? Really? That's awesome. I haven't read much about the story mode so I had just assumed it would be a typical linear story mode. I think that, when people were asking for a story mode, they were specifically asking for something like Fire Prowrestling G's, which included a large number of branching paths (...though a lot of them were considered bad ends by the game). We already know there's four major path splits on the 1st playthrough - sekigun, chaos, suzuki-gun and LIJ. And that your in-game performance determines your rival/final opponent at Wrestle Kingdom. And based on how the last two Fire Pro story modes went, the game will progress even if you lose when you're supposed to win or vice versa, though doing so will change the plot. |

It still puzzles me that they got Super Strong Machine's attire color wrong. I mean, how can you make such a glaring error like that? Thats certainly not the ONLY reason why I'm doubtful about the DLC, but it makes me wonder what else they got terribly wrong. If I'm going to pay that amount for edits then I want them to be absolutely spot on, otherwise what's the point?
I'm all for a few new moves and a few new heads, but I wouldn't pay that much for it. I'm not interested in the story mode at all tbh. All I really want is Fire Promoter so that I can play GM and make up my own stories.

If you don't wanna buy it because Hirata's outfit is charcoal grey and not anthracite grey, be my fucking guest, but this is exactly the stuff that makes my eyes glaze over, speaking for myself (but not the mods). It feels like you're trying to find a thing to complain about instead of just going, "I don't want this." as a result - no offense - you come off as obsessively nitpicky. |

I'm not singling anything out to condemn the entire pack, I said that the SSM edit made me doubtful about the rest of the models that haven't been showcased on a stream yet. DOUBTFUL, as in; The jury is still out. If only a few edits are spot on with a ton that aren't then that's important to me when making a calculated purchase decision... especially for that price. You might perceive this as being needless bitching, and fair enough. I don't see it this way. I'd love to be given a reason to buy the DLC. Some people might be satisfied with the varying edits because they're getting a few extra moves and heads, I don't fall in that camp. I'd happily pay a small price for a few new moves, but it's not paramount to my gaming experience. I'm perfectly satisfied with TheAvenger3's NJPW edits for example. IF I see all the models and the discrepancy in quality isn't too high between edits then I'll likely end up buying it. |

I'm buying the DLC because it comes with all the new parts and moves I can utilize with my creative abilities.

I'm a huge fan of people bitching about the color of Super Strong Machine's gear like he's a guy they'd actually fucking use. Like they hit it pretty much out of the park with everyone else so let's complain about a guy that nobody expected or really asked for in this game.
