Just curious; Is there any incentive to buy the PS4 version if you already own the PC version? I'm noticing quite a bit of people that are doing this. Is it really just to support the developers?
I actually prefer playing on PS4. Sitting at the PC for long periods of time bothers me, but the PS4 in my bedroom and I can lay down. I bought the PC version multiple times to support Spike-Chunsoft, I bought the Limited Collector's Edition to sit on the shelf as a collectible, I bought the physical NA PS4 version to have in my PS4 gaming library shelf and I bought the digital deluxe just for the convenience of having the whole game readily available on my PSN account should anything happen to my physical copy.

Play-Asia just double billed me on my order. Off to customer service I go.
EDIT: Oh, apparently a common occurrence on orders. Sometimes will show up as double billed due to authenticating the credit card.
I still have no emails. This can't be good.
I would guess they are processing orders in the order they were received. I literally ordered my copy within an hour of them having it listed when someone mentioned it on twitter.

Oof.
Spike Chunsoft's publishing partner in the EU, Koch Media, revealed it's still gonna be another month for European players til they can buy Fire Pro World on PS4 -- September 28 is the release date across the Atlantic.
To be fair, it's not like they're actively screwing Fire Pro -- all of Spike Chunsoft's self-published games are on a delay out there. 428/Shibuya Scramble is coming out a couple of weeks later there than in the US, where it's supposed to get a PS4 release on September 4. This is just the shitty reality for publishers without a presence in Europe, i.e. Shin Megami Tensei developer/publishers Atlus.

I can wait another month, good things come to those who wait as they say.

I ordered mine within 15-20 minutes of the listing going up on P-A. It's kind of amazing how quickly every other site sold out.

Fair enough. I suppose that I don't see it from the same vantage point since I have my PC hooked up to the TV and I play with a PS4 controller. I can certainly understand it if that wasn't the case.

Lol I might have been that guy in Twitter. I'm only worried because the confirmation email has nothing listed from the order. Only an order number. Like I've only paid 101 to play asia, no clue what the order is. I'll try and be more tanquilo.

My laptop just isn't powerful enough to run it, much less stream it and run it (which sucks because I bought the laptop specifically so I could run the game, without realizing that it was an I3, not an I5), so I have to go with PS4 for both playing and streaming. Not that I'm complaining, I'm happy to drop the money for it.

The ps4 release for the US is August 28 not September 4 ... I realize that, yes. I was talking about another Spike Chunsoft game called Shibuya Scramble -- they make stuff other than Firepro, you know! Either way, they cannot self-publish outside of Japan and NA, so they're at the whim of other publishers.

If only Fire Pro was a Spike Chunsoft flagship title. :(

It was back in the 90s, when Spike was Human Entertainment! But things've changed. Their main selling point is Danganronpa and other visual novels, so those are the flagships.
Even if it were a flagship, I'd worry that in the process it'd lose its Firepro-ness. I don't see it being mainstream otherwise...

At least their specialty in visual novels bodes well for the story mode content...
