Hey all, I will be porting some of my PC Anthology to World on PS4. But since many, many people can and have done the names that everybody knows, I will concentrate on porting the lesser known or more out there content. And there is NO EDIT that embodies the spirit of this project more than this gentlemen right here, the first edit I posted on PS4... firepro-w.com/item/detail/10782Meet Riron Kazaguruma. I can hear you think, who is Riron Kazaguruma? Well, he's nobody. That's why he's an Anthology Curiosity. He was a character in a manga featured in Dorimaga (a Japanese Dreamcast magazine) that found its way into Fire Pro Wrestling D's official DLC edit packs. He's something of a very poor man's Inoki. He will not dominate anyone with his 156 edit points. I don't know why you'd want Riron. But he's available now if you want to try a real oddity of the canon.

Anthology Curiosity #2: Ningen Heisei Delfin firepro-w.com/item/detail/11046Riron's counterpart from Dorimaga in the FPD DLC. Ningen Heisei Delfin can be thought of as a parody or homage to the classic Japanese lucha characters of decades gone by. With 157 edit points, he is quite evenly matched with Riron, and they do have good matches together in sims.

Anthology Curiosities #3-4-5 Blazing Tornado in the house!! All 9 characters will be going up. Note that while the Dorimaga set characters only had one costume, the BT set characters do have all 4. firepro-w.com/item/detail/11185Hiselstadt Von Ludwig is the final boss of Blazing Tornado, he's also the strongest character in the BT set and with 263 edit points, one of the strongest character in Fire Pro history. firepro-w.com/item/detail/11439French high-flyer Baron Firebird is the ultimate high-flyer in Blazing Tornado. He is the innovator of the gravity defying Eiffel De Parachute. While not an overpowering character with a points total in the 160s, his high-flying repertoire does pack a punch. firepro-w.com/item/detail/11539A rule-breaker through and through, HAYATE has very little regard for the referee's instructions. This Cuban assassin will use weapons and projectiles, a large number of skull-crushing headbutts and even some high-flying to get his ways.

Anthology Curiosities #6-7-8 Three more Blazing Tornado warriors! firepro-w.com/item/detail/11805Jailbreaker Bullnoi is probably the weirdest character in the game. Apparently an amnesiac hillbilly ex-convict, Bullnoi is eventually found out to ACTUALLY be the leader of some cult-ish community, which he goes back to after winning the Neo-Heroic title, which jogs his memory. Yeah. firepro-w.com/item/detail/12362"Blazing Tornado" Daijiro Zama can be considered the primary protagonist of the game, seeing as how its named after him and his finishing move. firepro-w.com/item/detail/12386Ho Ying-Long is the stereotype mystical martial arts master. His moveset lines up remarkably well with his highest parameters, which means that Ho is a remarkable attacker.

This is awesome. Turning my PS4 version into the ultimate canon roster will be a little easier now with these guys. Can't wait to see the other "fantasy" edits, such as Pro Wrestling NES and the FPD Rally guys.

I trust that most of everybody here would know these seven video game wrestling legends. The cast of Pro Wrestling NES. Let's see, no pictures! Can you identify them? As a reminder, these edits were originally created by researching the damage inflicted by the moves in the original game and by evaluating the logic of the wrestlers. Evaluated their behavior, counted instances of different moves by the CPU VS a inactive 1P. Multiple sims per wrestler so that any tendencies could be isolated. This is as good as it gets as far as Pro Wrestling edits logic & parameters goes. firepro-w.com/item/detail/13569In the original, this guy's trademark was mostly jumping in the air and falling on his ass. He's better at hitting that kick in World. firepro-w.com/item/detail/13575Pink & High-Flying. An indy guy had a genius idea and stole the gimmick for himself. firepro-w.com/item/detail/13571Ridiculous design. His wrestler select screen art made young me say it looked like he had an hamburger on top of his head. His trademark strikes are the exact same strenght as the regular strikes everyone else has. firepro-w.com/item/detail/13578Animalistic rule-breaker. May just have been the inspiration for Blanka. firepro-w.com/item/detail/13570A stereotype in many ways. In 1980s wrestling, black wrestlers sure did have hard heads. But, the guess is that he's supposed to be Hogan. Heh. firepro-w.com/item/detail/13574This is a SICK SICK human being right here. This guy murdered two people in cold blood to get in the head of a rising contender in Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special. And get in his head he did, but not as much as the pistol bullet poor Morio Smith put in his own head once he realized he had nothing left but a belt that meant nothing to him anymore. I've been thinking though, did the Morio Smith tragedy happen before or after the Pro Wrestling NES timeline where the VWF champion challenged King Dick and his fellow VWA competitors? firepro-w.com/item/detail/13576Speaking of the VWF Champion, here he is. A lot stronger than his opponents.

Next set to be ported will be FPZ Story Mode.
About the Pro Wrestling NES set: These guys are meant to reproduce how the PWNES defaults act. So if you put two of them together and sim, they will both act like two PWNES defaults would: They will NOT go for tie-ups, they will aggressively try to spin kick each other because that's what they'll do in the original if you let them. So, these aren't made to be simmed VS each other. Best use would be playing VS them so you're the one initiating the grapples.
Also, the aggressive pinning attempts once the opponent is in Large Damagae is ALSO in line with the logic of the original.
They are very quirky edits, but I'm actually really proud of these and the process that lead to their creation.

Phil love your edits was wondering if you were going to do any more of the classic arcade wrestlers? Or any more of the games like Mat Mania or 3 count bout?
