Greetings all, it's a pleasure to finally be among you all and contributing, as I'm no stranger to Fire Pro, and I've long been a lurker on this message board, as well as other Fire Pro communities that came beforehand!
I've been a fan of Pro Wrestling going back to 1991, and my first introduction to Fire Pro would've come around 2000/2001, when I first played Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium. As was surely the case for anyone reading these words, your first experience with a Fire Pro game, whichever one it may have been, it's a game changer. There's nothing quite like Fire Pro!
The first Fire Pro game that I actually imported and owned was Fire Pro Wrestling D on the Sega Dreamcast. A considerable amount of hours were spent playing that, as well as Fire Pro Wrestling on Game Boy Advance and Fire Pro Wrestling Returns on PS2 in the years that followed.
Doing something creative with Fire Pro to share with others, it's an idea I've toyed with for years. I've used other Wrestling games, booking sims like TEW for example, to create content from, but I've never gotten around to Fire Pro, until now!
I've recently had two life changing events, one being brilliant, one not so brilliant.
The good news is I got my own home, and I love everything about it+the location. On the flipside, the day after I got the keys, my relationship came to an end, and it's been a painful break up.
So as a form of therapy, and just because I'd love to do it anyway, and I've now got the time to do so, I've thrown myself back into a love that I've had since childhood, a love that I'll never lose, and that's the love of Pro Wrestling!
One day, I hope to do what so many of you do so well on here, and that's create characters of my own in a fictional promotion. I've actually had some characters swirling around in my head for years, and one day, I'll bring them to life!
For now though, I'm learning to walk before I run, and I'm doing an alternative real life take on the early 2000s promotion WWA. It's my plan to stick with this for awhile, but eventually I may use the same concept on other real life promotions that had potential to be more than they ended up becoming. Going back and playing with Wrestling history, taking characters in different directions, it's a source of pure enjoyment for me, and I hope others enjoy following along and sharing in the fun.
I think that's all for now. Thank you for having me!
