I've seen it mentioned in NJPW discussions but I don't have any idea exactly who or what they are. Could someone please enlighten me?

NJPW's main unit. People like Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson, David Finlay and TenCozy are considered members of the Sekigun.
Not to be confused with Yuji Nagata's Seigigun, or Blue Justice Army.

Basically, it means Main Army. It's usually full of wrestlers not associated with a faction within the company.

Isn't Blue Justice Army just Nagata now?

Nagata is basically his own army.

Nagata is basically his own army. Akiyama is a part of it, in my heart.

Nagata is basically his own army. Akiyama is a part of it, in my heart. Theoretical Akiyama is still better than actual Super Strong Machine.
