Hey guys - Looking for advice on creating monster/squasher edits, a la The Road Warriors, Vader, Goldberg, etc.
Any advice you can give or is there a thread somewhere you could point me to?
Thanks!!!

Warrior as a skill (boosted attack parameters) and setting up their logic for more cement style fighting helps. Focusing on using moves that take advantage of their parameter spread until the later stages, where they can go into their finishing sequence tends to work well; they shouldn't be interested in working a match at all, just beating the shit out of their opponent imo.
I would set their ukemi fairly low as well, so they're less likely to sell their opponent's moves where applicable; the ukemi boost isn't an issue since they shouldn't be hitting low spirit vs jobbers very often.
Another tip is using the sexual moves (lip lock, the grounded stink face, ategai) for the squashing brawlers. When used in a straight male vs male scenario, they're transformed into a repeated stomp submission, perfect for dishing out an ass kicking.

I just started mismatching the sexual moves on my monsters like view suggested and it really does give them that vicious feeling. I also like doing extremely low Stand Back % so it feels like they are relentlessly chasing down their opponent, pretty high front headlock (like 10% and up at each stage) to give the impression they're dragging the opponent around and manhandling them as they please, and a lot of early random pins (preferably of the Stomping Pinfall variety) to signify a lack of respect for the opponent.

High headlock percentage is a good idea. I need to make use of that.

Fire Pro is built on Japanese wrestling where even the Young Lions have fighting spirit and get some moves in on veterans. So squashes are very difficult to make happen unless it's just a big early Critical. That would be the best way.
As far as making an individual, just watch their matches and let logic to match.

To be fair, making an ineffective jobber within the system isn't difficult. Getting a good squash is really about both wrestlers involved. Just set up your jobber with ineffective striking grapples so it looks like the monster is just no selling everything.

This certainly will give the apperance of the squash it will still take 3-5 minutes to get the job done. That's just the game mechanics as we all know and have talked about forever with this game. Ive had luck lately with maxing out offensive stats to 10 going against edits with 1s on defense and getting matches over in like 3 minutes. Those edits would be way over matched against a normal edit though. You would almost need a maxed out squash version and then a normal version. The NWA saturday morning style squash of 3 moves and a finsher is impossible without the jobber mod.
