When do you guys think the PC DLC will actually release? I'm gonna say October. Also do you think the 30fps that the PS4 got patched with will apply to us? I sure hope not! I really hope it'll be out in October, but over the past couple days I've been getting this awful feeling like we might be waiting til X-mas.

Since this is the official topic for the pc/steam version i'm asking...is anyone interested in playing online NOT in sim match?? I'm a little disappointed that i've never had an online match since the release of the game....no one seems interested in playing player vs player match :( Online play is a laggy mess, unfortunately. Until that's resolved, I wouldn't expect to find any games. I hope it too cause im really disappointed about the online mode being so laggy :(

I don't think the team sees it as a priority at all.

From the quotes I've read, the dev team knows online sucks but doesn't seem to know how to fix it. My guess is at best we're a long way from it getting better, if its even addressed.

We can still do the tournament here, we'll just have to do it offline and sim, using the honor system.
...
Oh, look, I won. Better luck next time guys.

I mean, as PC players there are still options to play online with other people. I just don't think anyone is interested in trying services like Parsec or others.

I thought the real issue is if you sim, the seeds dont match up if you play online (regardless of the server) and you can get different outcomes between the two players.

Yes, it's an issue with the seeds loaded at the beginning of a match when you sim. When you try to play, the match can start off fine but than turn into an unplayable mess within the first two minutes. It's almost like there's a method constantly running in the background and locking things up for the non-host.

If I was going to guess the release dates, I would guess
- September for PC NJPW content/UI update - October for PS4 custom music patch - November for Fire Promoter - Late December/Early January for NJPW Junior Heavyweight scenario - Some time before March for whatever the third scenario is going to be
And maybe some little patches/move packs sprinkled between the big releases.

All for that positive mental attitude - i’d be really happy with that schedule. do you think the size of the dev team could achieve all that in that time period? There’s still a lot of PS4 issues to iron out

There’s still a lot of PS4 issues to iron out I think they've flattened the 'kill your first born child' data-killing bugs, which was the top priority. I'd think having those fixed, even if some other bugs still persist, would give them some time to work on the PC Port.

All for that positive mental attitude - i’d be really happy with that schedule. do you think the size of the dev team could achieve all that in that time period? There’s still a lot of PS4 issues to iron out IMO it seems possible. Tight and they'll probably be in crunch mode until the end of the year but possible. - They originally set aside a couple weeks to prep the PC version until bug apocalypse threw them off schedule. Now that they have the PS4 version under control, they should be able to knock that out. - Director said in an interview that they were aiming for the PS4 custom music patch to launch a month after release. I don't know if that will require all hands on deck or if other parts of the team can work on other things. Still a month seems feasible. - Fire Promoter is "80% done". It seems like the real problem was the old team, not the mode. So it's a matter of implementing the fixes and polishing it up. - The turnaround on Fighting Road seemed pretty quick so I don't think a scenario will take them that long outside of Director having to write the thing. - Nobody has a clue what the third DLC scenario will be but I can't imagine Spike letting the Fire Pro experiment go past March unless we get a miracle in terms of US/EU/PC sales and/or Director manages to sweet talk management into greenlighting another port. IMO The big things that can sink them is a game-crippling bug popping up on the PC side after the update or the Fire Promoter fixes being way more complicated than they originally thought to implement. But I'm just an idiot on the internet so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we'll see what happens.

Yes I guess none of us are in any way in the know so it’s all opinion but what you’ve said makes sense. I’d rather fire promoter was really taken time to get perfect and that’s the release they over deliver on
For me the rest is just a bonus, but I am looking forward to the fighting roads
Once March has passed and we’re out of official development then we’ll be really spoilt with edits and mods
