AFAIK, we're speculating based on what Matsumoto said - and what he said was in part influenced by Taichi tweeting his dissatisfaction as a gamer. I would take it as a confirmation that the September estimate will be missed, though. :/ Wait.. what? Can you elaborate? what did taichi said and what has Matsumoto answer exactly?
Taichi replied to the 1.06 patch announcement by saying he's annoyed by the bugs regarding online play in particular because he wanted to hold a "Taichi Cup," said "Don't treat us like idiots!" and stuff. Matsumoto apologized for the trouble he's caused, said his personal tweets have been restricted but felt a need to respond to his scolding anyway; namely by thanking him for saying what needed to be said and for representing the fanbase. Not really much of a response I guess but. |

The worst of it Lanky. is that porting the stuff to pc isn't exactly a gruelling ordeal, its not even like we're asking them to do much , just port the stuff ps4 players already got .
It would be like if they didn't got the Takayama dlc, actually wanted that and got reapeatdly shot down with "We will deliver when we feel like it".
Its not a matter of complexity, its a matter of priority. They have a small team, and the priority is fixing PS4. People can be mad at getting dusted for a different user base, but I think its weird that people are assuming people are lazy or intentionally holding back content. They made this decision a while ago- go after the Japan market (who doesn't play PC games) and try and make the game a success locally. It has not been a smooth decision, and they game has had issues. They're going to continue to focus on their local market before we get anything- that's the reality regardless of whether that makes financial sense or not.
For the record, I'm NOT defending the decision. But I'm resolved that this is where we're at, and I'm past getting mad at anyone.
To be fair, people in Japan don't really play PS4 much now, either. Switch is absolutely dominating over there. |

So he basically said the same shit that we've been saying for 15 months about online, and for the last 2 months about everything else?
Maybe if we could get Stevie Richards to call these guys a flock of fucking assclowns something would get done.

I do love the game for what it is but I know if I take an extended break it’ll be tough for me to get back into it (I don’t play any other video games). with that said, I may just be done with it I'm also kinda in this boat. I hadn't played games for years before World was announced. I put in over 1,200 hours making my edits. My patience is growing thin, I took about two months off of the game and the itch to boot it up has gone sour. I handled the lack of Fire Promoter to a point. That was really all I wanted. |

As much as i might feel sorry for the director, i feel more sorry for us, the playerbase, waiting for those incompetents to do something as simple as to port over content from PS4 and finish a mode thats already inside the damn game.
