It's already too late, i have already started cussing at them. Now i wanna see how they're going to word this to the Steam community. by the way, notice how they wait until the last days to tell us stuff? Buncha assholes.. This is literally how they've handled every delay, starting with Fire Promoter in January.

Can someone translate all the tweets about this and post it here?
Thank you.
i do know he said something about being difficult for them to recover our trust.. pff and i was banking on 28th of this month. Incompetent jerks, i'm never defending them again.

Yeah, there's a line in there about how he knows they broke our trust and that they understand it'll be hard to earn back... etc.
Typical "we fucked up and have no intention of fixing it so we'll just throw them empty words" groveling bullshit.

The worse is the responses. "Its ok! we're glad we got a game at all" stuff only one of the guys made the favor of actually calling them in their crap. Which i made sure to retweet
I don't respect him and now i'm sure he's not trying.

I mean, I'm assuming that Matsumoto isn't the decision maker behind all of these choices. But sure, direct all the hate towards him as Spike planned it by making him the only face available to communicate with the community. If I recall correctly, he was also the person responsible for writing the story? So, shitty story dialogue aside, I wouldn't put too much blame on him personally.

I do understand all the pains that come with developing a game and being in charge of a project. but when they slap you the title of "chief developer" you better be ready to do your 100%, cause if stuff goes wrong it will fal on your head. after all, you're supposed to get shit done. Am I wrong?
I'm giving the blame to everyone involved, even the musicians who made the tracks short instead of making them long and epic and the sound engineer who came up with that annoying sound of confirmation in the menus i hate so much and i can't properly mute. There's plenty of unfriendly feelings on me to go around for them.
Also the person who wrote "Lotation" instead of rotation, i hate this person too.
I hate everyone equally.

Fuck, just throw us some new moves and some parts for free. Apologize with providing something for our waiting, or just tell us to go fuck ourselves. This beating around the bush bullshit is more agonizing and disrespectful.

No way dude, the word "lotation" is one of the few good things Spike has managed to give us this year.

Im still confused at the notions that I cant be happy that we got the game.
Sure, Spike is borking the situation and the game could be infinitely better, but to tell me I shouldnt/cant be happy with the game itself is a bit much at times.

I do love the game for what it is but I know if I take an extended break it’ll be tough for me to get back into it (I don’t play any other video games). with that said, I may just be done with it

If I recall correctly, he was also the person responsible for writing the story? So, shitty story dialogue aside, I wouldn't put too much blame on him personally. I mean, he got slapped with a shitty, hodgepodge team and no real resources for the game. It sucks because he genuinely loves the series and wanted to do it justice. If anything, his folly was getting excited about the New Japan deal and over-promising with it knowing that they just didn't have the resources to make this happen across multiple platforms. I'm still curious how this works because they didn't just promise us, the consumers, that the NJPW DLC would be released on PC, but also New Japan as a part of this partnership. These delays have nothing to do with the game being unstable on PC or any problems with the platform at all, it's all issues with the PS4 version. We don't have sales figures, do we? Because I'd hazard a wager that most of the sales in the US were to people who already owned the PC version, perhaps even bought multiple copies on PS4 (Japanese and US). This sort of feels like they're ignoring what could be their bigger userbase to fix things that they can't really fix without investing more money into them. Also note that the PC community didn't bring out the pitchforks and torches when online mode was never fixed? We just dealt with it. Apparently PS4 users aren't that forgiving (not that they should have to be for broken features).

When they said they were going to deliver the game, they delivered the game.
When they said they'd deliver the dlc.. they didn't.
Thats the thing here, 'im pretty happy with what we got, the problem is them promising something new to us and not delivering.
So people dial back to the "Its ok! at least we got that!" i mean one thing is not the other thing. This one i already have, and i want the other one...

Nobody is telling you that you can't be happy that you got the game. The point here is that whenever someone shows some displeasure at Spike there's always a few people that come out with 'HOW DARE YOU?! YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY WE GOT A GAME AT ALL' types. We're all happy that it came out. Most of us just want them to follow through on the promises so we can literally give them more money.
