Do you guys just take every edit possible, for the sake of having every edit? Everyone has their own style, but I only take the guys I know will fit into my vision of Fire Pro, my federations, etc. I don't need every iteration of Chris Jericho, I need one, maybe two (to cover different eras). I'm not criticizing, I just actually wonder what you do with even 1500 edits. 99% of my edits are real life wrestlers. I really like to have time\era specific edits if they differ from each other in style, attributes or gimmick. I have like 5 of HBKs and Eddie Guerreros. Of course, most wrestlers I just have 1 of but it is enough to easily fill 1500 wrestlers. I am also very picky on logic and parameters so I re-edit every edit I download :)

I have currently 69 ring accessories 15 refs 1388 workers and that’s hard to manage sometimes when I have to uninstall guys that I find new updated versions of. I go insane if I had 7000 edits. Once the dlc finally drops I look to add modern all japan and Noah NXT uk wwe and roh alumni and maybe women of honor I think maybe 1700 total after all that. I’m a wrestling fan I’m not going to add super hero’s and rappers

Thanks for the replies. I have about 500 myself and I’ll probably never use 60% of them. But I do like fleshing out my territories. I use mainly all real people, I have about 20 or so based on wrestling video games like Mat Mania and Slam Masters (I’d personally only interact thos characters with one another, not real lfe edits). Anyways, I was just surprised some have thousands. My 500 seems insane.

I've downloaded 148 items and it still feels like too much bloat.

I've been waiting for the PC update to re-download everything but I'll probably have a few thousand edits saved. I only sim any specific creator's edits against each other, and I download every edit from creators I like. Do I really need Bastion Booger, Friar Ferguson, Norman the Lunatic AND Trucker Norm? Probably not. I just like having a complete collection.

For me, if I try to create a roster of "Real World in [Current Year]" while following the model of past Fire Pro games I can easily get 800-1000 wrestlers. NJPW, DG, AJPW, NOAH, WWE, Impact, ROH, CMLL, AAA, UFC, BJW, Stardom, etc. A looooot there.
That said, I deleted all of them and am waiting for the new UI/DLC update on PC to start fresh again. Might just limit it to world majors, UFC, and promotions affiliated with the majors.

Quick question, in watching the history of FMW videos on YouTube by Bret FMW, and seeing Shinzaki and Hayabusa dropkicking the Headhunters and they barely move. They aren't tall, but they're probably 400+pounds, would giant return work for them or would it be too overpowering? Same for yokozuna as well?

Giant doesn't need to be a specific build, it could just be in comparison to the other wrestlers the edit faces. If the Headhunters are giants in comparison to the rest of the roster, then feel free to drop it on them. You can always switch it to power or something similar when they've migrated back over to the western promotions.

I'd say yes, because they would like to that lumbering/towering giant bit where they build to the first time their opponent knocks them off their feet. In some of their matches they reminded me of the Twin Towers. It's a nice bit of psychology in the middle of the all the garbage brawling.
Also, Headhunters RULE, just FYI.

I can't even fathom the idea of deleting edits just to start fresh. I have a handful of original edits ported from FPD - they're around 16 years old. Anybody I ported from FPR is at least ten. Even the thought of deleting that much work makes me freak out a little.
kikrusher - the only issue with Giant return style is it doesn't really play that well with other styles - it's really designed to work with Giant fighting style AND Giant body size. Without both of those things, you may actually find them getting thrown around MORE with Giant return style. You could give them Giant styles and body size, but they'd look super tall. Giant style also jumps really short off the turnbuckles, so it might get difficult to hit moonsaults.
In theory, yeah, I would totally agree with Giant style if it works out, but it may not come out right. Double for Yokozuna - he's basically the epitome of a Giant-style wrestler to me; his literal ENTIRE in-ring identity centered around his size. He just didn't happen to be tall like they were thinking of when they set up Giant style to work the way it does. He's the main reason I wish we could set their visual height and their size-for-gameplay-purposes independently.
Those things considered, you could try Orthodox/Power or Power/Power - they'd be slammable, but you'd get the no-sells for strikes and stuff, like dropkicks. I throw in the Orthodox suggestion for the jumping distance advantage over Power. For what it's worth, their defaults from FPG are Heel/Power.

Ditto to both. I have Giant for my Yoko as I feel he definitely deserves it. I also wish the assigned weight played a role in the gameplay.

I don't even think it really needs to use the weight in their profile, I just wish we could pick a F/S/M/L/G size in the skills menu, and all the relevant calculations would be based off of that instead of their visual size. KOC was actually set up this way, it's one thing I really wish they had carried back over into Firepro.
I get that it's nice and streamlined to just pick their "size" in one spot and have that subtly effect different things, but 1) that's an odd thing to insist on keeping streamlined, given the customizability of everything else, and 2) the differences aren't exactly subtle in some cases, like with Giant style. Not having the Giant size completely breaks it, which sucks for guys that do work that style but aren't near (or over)-seven-footers.

thanks for that knowledge! Also, why not just upload everybody to the workshop before starting fresh, then you can just find them later.

I wanted to add to put Angel Vivaldi on pandora while you play, unlimited wrestling hard rock no vocal music. Highly Recommended you try that out.
