Look man, don't turn your back on the Logicpac. ...So, okay, bear with me here. The PS4 release has brought some..interesting newcomers onto the fringe of our community. Case in point, this.  (source: www.reddit.com/r/firepro/comments/9fd00m/wow_cptcalceum21_13_is_a_low_life_creation_theif/)now, I don't watch the reddit like a hawk because really why do we have a reddit anyway? I mean it's fine but all the real discussion probably takes place here and on the discord. It's not my concern, a guy capable of running it is running it, that's that. However, this Logic Club seems to be the delightful creation of this man, or possibly literal child, who is giving us a glimpse into an alternate reality where the Fire Pro Community is just caws.ws. I don't know if it's an actual thing. But I want to believe. Never feed a troll |

He reuploaded my Hacksaw without credit...and it's like "whatever"...I hadn't bothered with the logic yet, someone was bound to anyways as Spike didn't prevent unauthorized uploads, but then he turns around and makes a backhanded comment on my Sgt.Slaughter saying he already made one as if there was no reason to bother. I didn't respond, but I like playing "virtual Barbie doll", lemme have my fun, mannn...

Reminds me of the Compilation Pack Wars. Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. I was always pro comp. It was easier to download after all. But I get it, people shouldn't steal edits and claim them as their own. That's why I don't claim anything with the Tenryu I uploaded. I was just filling a void. But now a lot of guys have filled the FPNet up with edits. Still no Tenryu though, and while I ported him from my PC save, I don't think his moveset was that correct. A lot of moves that were already selected when you create a new guy. So I hope someone uploads a better Tenryu. |

Edit: Also how he said he gave Andre suicide dives to make him more fun to play.

I literally stayed away from Arena for a long time because of the laissez faire attitude on using other people's edits as an official policy, ESPECIALLY after the Comp Pack shit that happened. It's not shocking that when Fire Pro got a broader audience.... again.... that this was of course going to happen.... again. |

People who straight up copy my edits with small modifications aren't going to do much to bother me, personally.
Granted, it's because I have that "inexplicably popular edit maker" privilege, I guess. XD

This reminds me exactly of that Dr.Kats guy who used to steal edits and reskin the default rosters as entirely new guys and claim he was making them all. |

I could never understand why people feel the need to steal edits without giving credit to the original creators. Is it just an attempt to drive the good edit makers away, weakening the edit pool overall? Or is their life really so unfulfilling that the only way to cope is buy copying edits and re-uploading them in the hopes of getting some imaginary points from random people on the Internet? It's sad. |

I might not know the edit makers I have, and I combine one's logic with another's attires. But I'd never claim it was mine if I uploaded it. That shits just stupid.

I want to point out that something is definitely not right with the search on the FPW Net. Last week, I was able to find a Chris Brookes edit. I left the page to find something else, and went back to search for it moments later....it couldn't be found anymore. Unless that creator disabled their account within that span of 30 seconds (or made everything hidden that quickly), something's not right here.
I saw someone else mention something similar recently elsewhere on the web.
