Monster Gains spoke about their upcoming title match, for the Dual Hearts Tag Titles, from a makeshift home gym.
Jimmy Barrett: This is it, the time is now. The gains train is chugging along in Tiger Stripe Pro, baby doll. We’ve run through everyone they put in front of us, and now it’s time to get those tag straps. Ain’t that right, Ratch?
Roger Ratchford: Oh you know it, brother. Tennessee Mafia, there’s no place to run, there’s no place to hide, jack. I’m so pumped up brother, I can’t contain myself. AHHHH!
Barrett: That’s what I’m talking about, Ratchy baby, you know we’re bringing those titles back to sweet home Alabama. Oh mercy, that sounds good, makes me want to hit the weights, baby doll.
Monster Gains get back to their workout.

State Line Rumble -5/2/2020 Ardmore, TN
Dual Hearts Tag Titles Tennessee Mafia(c) vs. Monster Gains (PCP) Monster Gains (PCP) and the Tennessee Mafia finally meet in the ring, but things do not go the way most fans had hoped. Due to confusion between TSP officials, Ardmore, Tennessee City Hall and the Tennessee Wrestling Commission, the match ended first as a ring out. Once the match was restarted, the antics of Iceman Barrett and Dr. Jones prevent their respect teams from getting a win. Unfortunately the Tennessee Mafia retain the Dual Heart Tag Belts and Monster Gains are forced to the back of the line. Hanshin Tiger though was seen backstage discussing something with Monster Gains.[/spoilers]
Montgomery Half Stripe Title Bill Flippo (c) vs. Felix Santana Sr. Bill Flippo came into this match looking very angry, and very much not wanting to wrestle Santana. The match was fairly even with Flippo focusing on the destroying Santana's arm. Following the events of Fire on the River, it is no surprise that Flippo's son ,Leather Flippo, came down to the ring and attacked his father. Brutal headbutts rocked Bill Flippo and may have contributed to Santana Sr. getting the jump on Flippo and rolling him up with a school boy for the win. Santana Sr. becomes the sixth holder of the Montgomery Half Stripe Title. Bill Flippo did file a protest with the Alabama Wrestling Commission and TSP officials, but was denied due to the event taking place in Tennessee. TSP officials did promise Flippo a chance to get some kind of revenge in the near future. TSP is happy to have the legend Felix Santana Sr. as champion and look forward to his title defenses. Arizona Jackson vs. Juan Villegas Arizona Jackson continues to mow over every wrestler put in front of him. Juan Villegas put up a decent fight, but Jackson, along with the mind of Dr. Daniel Jones, may be an unstoppable force. Lee Gold Jr. vs. Pole Star
Great showcase from both veterans. Pole Star attempted to wear out Lee, but Lee was able to use his strength to put down Pole Star following a vicious powerbomb. Wolf Suzuki, Karl Schmidt and Kido Hagane (Hard Kill) vs. Alexander and Vlad Krill, Proletariat Cobra Pretty great match. The former shooters of Hard Kill were able to get around the power of Russian Ark. Hopefully we will see more of these teams in TSP. 8 Person Rumble! Paul Tank, Francois Masque, Mashsura Nara, Carl Buckly, Dick Dunn, Squid Jr, Ric Miller, Waylon Murdock This match was filmed at a TSP fan only Alabama wrestling history event in February. Battle Royals can be pretty good or really bad, but this was pretty good. Carl Buckly showed a lot of power through the match. Recent graduate Waylon Murdock played the wait outside game for parts of the match, but was eventually eliminated. Carl Buckly gets a title shot of his choice in the near future.

Following the show, Felix Santana Sr. found a camera and a microphone backstage, and quickly set himself up for a message. Felix Santana Sr: It is an honor to compete here in Tennessee, against someone like Bill Flippo. It is even more of one to stand here now with your Montgomery Half Stripe belt. I have won gold around the world, for decades. I have fought in the biggest promotions in the world. But the ones I appreciate, are the ones like TSP. Like my own Santana Family Wrestling, TSP takes pride in the connection it has to its region, to its people, to its tradition. That is why I wanted to come here, and why I had to compete for the Half Stripe. The Flippo family has a great history. Unfortunately, that history became part of my match. I will give Bill Flippo a rematch if he wants it. If Leather Flippo wants a match, I will give him one, too. If you two want a triple threat, that's also acceptable. And if I'm still holding this by the next time the Office has Santana Family Wrestling on the air, I'll put out an open challenge. But for now, I'll just enjoy knowing that even at this stage of my career, I can still improve my legacy with wins like this.

Cannot say for certain, but may have to move The I-65 War back a day from Sunday, May 17th to Monday, May 18th. Would that prevent anyone from showing up live?

For some reason my PC and Twitch do not get along, but I was able to re-watch the show without interruption, and it was awesome. I had a blast putting this event together with you over the last few months. Here’s to doing it again sometime in the future. My thoughts on the show: Leo Corino vs. Kenny Bread – Wow! Corino joining the TN Mafia was unexpected but awesome. He fit right in with that new attire. Kenny Bread was about to put on another vintage performance until those damn knucks were introduced. These two have to meet again, and Bread might need to call for some backup against the TN Mafia. I hear he knows a guy in Philadelphia.
King’s Table vs. Monster Gains – I wasn’t that familiar with King’s Table, but they quickly made me a fan. Monster Gains goes to another time limit draw, and have to feel their dominance is slipping. Looking forward to the rematch, there must be a winner.
I-65 Rumble – Man this was so much fun. Big Bama Ray and Gorliath were nice surprises, and The Demon Priest can’t be pleased with Gorliath’s performance. Dick Dunn put on quite the display and earned that win. I’m gonna be keeping an eye on Dunn, and especially the upcoming match with Rampage.
Bill Flippo vs. Hoss Mack Sr. - Gotta love an old man fight. After Bill set a ridiculous pace with all those powerbombs, it was hilarious seeing HMS desperately try to grab some rest holds. HMS was tough, but Bill was possessed in this match.
Pat Lewis vs. Cordell Chaos – Lewis getting busted open on the first punch was classic. Cordell put on the best performance of his career in this one. I’m hoping Lewis can bounce back, huge fan of that dude.
Steven Kaiser vs. King Felix III – Good match. KF3 survived some big strikes, but is back in the win column after losing the PCP belt. Kaiser has made me a fan these last few months, can’t wait for him to win the big one.
Flippo’s vs. Quinn’s – Rena is an awesome addition to the Flippo’s. The Quinn’s won this time, but who knows how long this rivalry will last. A new generation of Quinn’s are currently training.
Mask vs. Hair – What a match! Hanshin Tiger defends the honor and tradition of TSP. Gorham eats some humble pie, but is reminded of why he fell in love with wrestling so many years ago. Can’t wait to see the haircut.
