Main Show
Mr Moonsault (The Office/Wacker Driver) vs. Rampage Hunter (c) for the SE States Memorial Title
Great opener in my opinion. Rampage Hunter has been ripping through the TSP roster and other promotions across the SE USA. After accepting an open invitation from TSP, Mr Moonsault makes his debut for the SE States Memorial Title. The match was fairly back and forth to me until the end. Mr Moonsault had the advantage when Hunter was thrown outside. Instead of hitting ,I assume, a moonsault to Hunter on the outside, Mr Moonsault stopped to take in some love from the TSP crowd. This error in judgement lead to Hunter getting his head straight, coming back in the ring and hitting a monster spear for the win.
Waylon Murdock vs. Steven Kaiser
That got bloody quick. Steven Kaiser continues his win streak with an impressive win against recent TSP dojo graduate Waylon Murdock. After a series of elbow blows and headbutts, both men found themselves bloody and beaten. Kasier was able to put away Murdock and continue his rise in TSP. TSP fans are curious to see is Kaiser is able to win a title or join one of the many factions.
Montgomery Half Stripe Title: Lee Gold Jr. (c) vs. Felix Santana Jr.
Felix Santana Jr. did not like hearing Lee Gold Jr slander his father and family. Santana Jr promised to take back the Half Stripe title to his father. Unfortunately things did not work out the way he wanted. Santana Jr. seemed off for most of the match, allowing Gold to take command and put things away in under 10 minutes. Gold Jr. post match continued to rail against the Santana family, even going as far to spit at the leaving Santana Jr..
Tennessee Mafia vs. Cults Family 3v3
After the Cults family rid TSP of the Missouris, the Cults Family were promised a future match against anyone of their choosing. Fast forward to last week when Hanshin Tiger received a wet, ripped and torn letter from the Cults family compound. They demanded a match against the Tennessee Mafia and Hanshin, remembering his hatred of Dr. Daniel Jones, gleefully approved the match.
The match itself was a competitive, bloody brawl. Between the power of Tom Flikkema and Arizona Jackson, the Cult Family were put on the defensive. Eventually Tom Flikkema was able to take out Cults Kawasaki with a huge powerbomb. This was the first pinfall loss for Cults Kawasaki in over 2 years.
Hyper Dragon vs. Mashsura Nara
Excellent exhibition match between two TSP veterans. Rumors of late have Hyper Dragon leading a group of wrestlers out of TSP and back to Japan or Mexico to start a new promotion. No word as to whether is TSP expanding further or if this is an exodus. Nara on the other hand has been floundering in the under card and looking for a way back to success.
This match was an excellent back and forth affair. Both wrestlers gave their best, but Nara was able to put Dragon away. Will Hyper Dragon leave TSP? What is next for Nara?
Dual Hearts Tag Team title match: Tennessee Mafia (c) vs. Montgomery Star and Pat Lewis
In maybe the upset of the year, Montgomery Star and Pat Lewis are able to sneak one by the TN Mafia and win the Dual Hearts Tag titles. Lewis and Montgomery Star were able to neutralize TN Mafia's usual underhanded tactics. Post match Dr. Daniel Jones, in a rage unseen before, argued with the referee. Eventually the entire Tennessee Mafia came out and begun attacking Lewis and Star. It was then that Muscle Gain, Jimmy Barrett and Roger Ratchford, came down to the ring and fought off the TN Mafia. With the TN Mafia chased off, Lewis and Star were allowed to bath in the glory from the TSP crowd as new tag champs. Montgomery Star took the mic and called out Dr. Jones and his boys for a 4v4 Cloverdale Street fight.
Super Kakita vs. Kent Watanabe
Kakita continues to not have the best year with another loss. Kakita did not go down without a fight despite the interference from Kent's tag partner Dick Dunn. Super Kakita post match was helped to the back by El Daidoji. Kakita however rejected the help and slowly made his way to the back. An aura of anger and resentment seemed to flow out Super Kakita unseen before.
Quad Crown World Title: Faaborg (c) vs. Big Gordon (LCW)
Big Gordon thought he could use his pure power and size to dominate the champ. Big Gordon did not realize that Faaborg have kicks that can break walls. Despite being in control somewhat early on, Big Gordon could not sustain his power and Faaborg was able to take Gordon out with a clap kick. Who will Faaborg defend his title against next....
KK Ryu vs. Hanshin Tiger (If KK wins, he gets a shot at Faaborg and his Quad Crown World Title)
Despite Hanshin telling KK he didn't have to wrestle him for a title shot, KK refused the match. KK wanted to prove to himself and the TSP fans that he was back and could lead the promotion into the future. Neither wrestler held anything back, but the power and heart of KK Ryu pushed down the pain and took Hanshin out with textbook leg lock suplex.
KK vs Faaborg II is on.
