I downloaded a Carlzilla.dll from the testing suite on 8/18 (latest I could find) which appeared to have this feature ready (use mod suite data box) but... when I make changes to the game while running from the new directory, it's saving to the old install directory's save data file, not to the mod suite data folder in my copied over directory.
I don't know if this is human error on my part or if I'm being premature in testing this function before it's real release, but wanted to report the issue and ask for guidance as I'm spending hours trying unsuccessfully to figure out which.

I just tested it and it's working fine for me on all 3 of my installs.

No luck. Here's what I'm doing in case you or anyone can help me spot where I'm going wrong.
INSTALLED directory is in the normal Steam install place. Steam is offline. Steam cloud is disabled. INSTALLED directory is heavily modded - lots of Carlzilla options, EGO, Ace's Attire Extension, New Moves (some not all), etc.
I copy INSTALLED directory to DESKTOP creating DESKTOP directory. I have tried both keeping the original name and renaming it.
Mod Suite Data savedata.dat file is created successfully in DESKTOP directory.
To try to simplify troubleshooting, I did a clean unpatch and re-patch for DESKTOP Directory; on re-patch I only chose Carlzilla.dll and only chose the "use modsuite data" function.
I have the exe file marked to run as administrator. Steam is also set to run as administrator.
When I click the .exe file in DESKTOP directory, it runs a fully modded version (i.e., it runs INSTALLED directory). If I unpatch INSTALLED directory, and run DESKTOP directory, it runs a vanilla game. No matter which directory I launch, any changes I make appear to affect only INSTALLED directory; the file date in the modsuite data file of DESKTOP directory doesn't ever change.
I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong or how running the DESKTOP directory is somehow tapping into my INSTALLED directory. I feel like I've missed a critical step but can't figure out what. Really was hoping it was the @$@#ing Steam cloud somehow overriding things but turning that off hasn't helped.
Signed,
Desperate in SC
Going to bed now. Thanks in advance.
PS - deleted my log files to confirm - pwgrlog.txt is only created in INSTALLED directory. Full text (nothing seems odd, assuming the network warning is simply because I'm offline):
Log:SubscribeNum: 0
Log:MyMusic_SelectFile_Match
Log:aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 564230
Warning:No instance of Network, a temporary one is created.
Log:SteamGameClient: Init
Log:Received stats and achievements from Steam
Log:OnApplicationQuit called.!

Few things. First just want to say thanks for everything you've done to make my first experience with the Fire Pro series amazing. It's quickly become my favorite wrestling game due mainly to your mods. Secondly, I just want to confirm that when you check the mod save data and play offline, I won't be able to use my workshop downloads at all? Or am I missing something? That would be a huge bummer because I'm pretty bad at making edits haha. Apologies if this sounds really dumb.

No, you'll be able to use any workshop downloads you already have. You just won't be able to download new ones.
