You know what they need to bring back?
The gatdam announcers from Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special. Those dudes had context sensitive reactions to everything that happened in the match! I've never seen that in any other wrestling game. Trying to give it a listen. Do they only come on in a certain game mode?
They don't talk. You can see them animated though.

small dev team,laziness, budget, NJPW DLC deal my guess why they weren't added. LoL There's not a great deal missing. Audience/MOR mode, couple of moves but that's about it. The electrified cage match was okay, but we've got cage and barbed wire matches instead. What else is missing? |

I think that might be down to trends in wrestling, those match types were huge in the early 2000s with the WWF Hard-core title. |

AI wrestlers that fight outside the ring on the rampway when you try to take the match there. In World the cpu always returns to the ring as soon as it touches the ramp, and if you go out there the cpu never follows you.

I did like the different style match ratings instead of just the 1 basic one in World loosely tied to the arenas.
In an arena you might have a show with different match styles like Hardcore and Lucha, and save the main event for Showman or King's Road.
