I still miss the muscle buster that ends with the attacker in a sitting position. Looked devastating and was the finisher of my original edit.

I miss the Blazing Tornado animations for some of the moves that ended up in Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium. Those were:
Head Express - Holy shit Hayate is BRUTAL with those upward headbutts
Bullnoi Stomper - Very nice looking slam that ends with Bullnoi falling in sitting position.
Glass Bridge - A technical spin into a beautiful crucifix bomb-looking slam, the end of the animation its amazing, and i miss this move the most.
Other moves from the game ended up in FPWW but i wonder why those three got axed.

Audience mode was fantastic. U had to wrestle matches in specific styles against progressively more difficult opponents. You had to carry them to good matches essentially

Where's the exploding cage from FPD and also FPZ (different cage design and I preferred FPZ) as well as the outside arena?

small dev team, laziness, budget, NJPW DLC deal my guess why they weren't added. LoL Going to assume he posted that as a multiple choice question. Budget would be the most likely answer. Anyway, audience mode sounds fun. With some custom venues and a ring randomizer it could be a fun mod. Get above x rating based on the opponent rank/skill each match until you fail.

I mean, even back in 2001-02, FPWA and Final Firepro were part of a divergent development cycle from D, Z, Returns, and now World. While the GBA games had their own things (different special abilities, some moves that have yet to be reanimated), the Dreamcast development branch had its own things exclusive to it - the tier 2 and tier 3 abilities that combined multiple special skills, MMA mounts, weapons, an extra hardcore match mode, etc.

Audience mode was awesome except I figure it would be trickier to implement without a huge roster of real life imposters. You might go through ultimo dragon, negro cases, Rey mysterio Jr in lucha style matches but then be asked to carry crocop to a passable lucha match.

Or a very small group of edits.

The ratings were essentially created to be used in this mode and motw. Gives the ratings real purpose and incentive

You know what they need to bring back?
The gatdam announcers from Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special. Those dudes had context sensitive reactions to everything that happened in the match! I've never seen that in any other wrestling game.

I think it's the same deal as with the S-1 match. They are just not aware that anyone cares. As far as moves go, they are probably more concerned with current finishers etc. than some whacky surfboard hold they had in Queens Special 20 years ago. And right now is probably not the ideal time to bring it up to them because they are crunch mode busy fixing the bugs.
