Didn't see anywhere else to ask, so here's place!
Anyone have any favourite podcasts? I'm always looking for recommendations for podcasts as I burn countless, precious hours of my life driving to and from work, I'd like to be doing it either learning something, or laughing like a lunatic trying not to crash my shit.
Lately I've been on a Bill Burr kick, I love the guy and his podcasts are pretty epic most of the time. I don't know what it is about him, but who cares, I laugh every day, and I mean belly laugh, a soul cleansing laugh, listening to his maniacal ramblings. He could be talking about the most inane or innocuous shit, and somehow he makes it hilarious. I think it's in his delivery, that east coast swagger paired with a barely hidden utter disdain for humanity, whatever it is, it's beautiful and it makes me laugh.
Also, I'm digging' on Welcome to Nightvale pretty hard. Great but odd stuff, not for everyone, but if you like odd, dark, Lovecraft inspired humour and narrative, check this episodic piece out!
Any suggestions from the peanut gallery?

I'm not really a podcast guy, but "My Dad Wrote a Porno" is pretty fuckin hilarious.

I love Tell Em Steve Dave. Always a funny pod to listen to at work.
I highly suggest the Voices of Wrestling flagship for a wrestling podcast suggestion. Very intelligent look at wrestling all around the world.

I listen to 4 at the moment:
Hello Internet featuring CGP Grey
The Command Zone - this is a podcast based on the Commander format in Magic:The Gathering
The Art of Wrestling - Definitely one of the most well known wrestling podcasts. I'm thinking about dropping it though since Colt has discontinued the interview format and changed it to basically a road diary featuring the random guest here and there.
The Pat McAfee Show - Basically because he's hilarious and talks about sports and other things.

I listen to both of Cornette's shows and the 605.
My favorite is Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men. They started with the 70s relaunch and have gone through every issue of X-Men and deep dived to explain all the complicated, confusing bullshit. They've made it to the early 90s in 200 episodes. They also get cool interviews with Claremont, Louise Simonson, and a lot of other big names from the 80s, plus occasional current writers. They are VERY progressive, so they talk about minority representation in comics, and other extremely liberal topics. If you can't handle that, the show is not going to be up your alley.

Damn, I was interested until the political babble. Makes sense given the minority representation, but still, I hate politics.

For wrestling I cover WWE with Wade Keller and the PW torch podcasts and Voices of Wrestling for NJPW
Other than that I listen to Football Ramble for soccer.
I'll maybe check out some of the humour podcasts mentioned here if I run dry of my subscribed stuff. I've also been recommended Boss Key, about video game level design but I haven't listened yet.

But they do such a good a job of explaining all the confusing bullshit.

As far as wrestling, all the Brian Last shows are compelling, in particular the Scott Bowden Kentucky Fried Rasslin of late. Its all about Memphis. Pacific Rim wrestling is one I just got into. It has this Japanese journalist from way back. They did an interview with Bruiser Brody's wife and I kept listening. As for Austin, Jericho, Jim Ross, and those guys I used to listen all the time but now I just see the guest first. The rest of the stuff I hear is pretty political, except for Monster Party, Dana Gould, and You Must Remember This. Star Trek the next conversation is good. Star Talk is getting played out, as is James Bonding. David Feldman show, Andy Kindler's show reminds me of walking the room ...I listen to a shitload of podcasts. Hardcore History is pretty middle of the road, and a must hear. Hist ory of Rome is a good rabbit hole to go down. Phil Hendrie might be the best thing I've ever heard.

Welcome to Nightvale is the best podcast to fall asleep then wake up in the middle of. Alice Isn't Dead is pretty great too. I listen to a lot of podcasts at work, most of them are educational, to some extent or another, Astronomy Cast, Stuff They Don't Want You To Know, Stuff You Missed In History Class, Stuff to Blow Your Mind, The Skeptics Guide To The Universe, the Geologic Podcast(not actually about geology), Talk Nerdy, and Hardcore History.

Pretty eclectic set of podcasts so far, nice stuff! I'm diggin' My Dad Wrote a Porno, that is a fun one so far, funny stuff! Lots of cool suggestions for stuff I'd never even have thought of looking into, too! Keep them coming! The history ones masterchard mentioned sound like good ones, I will definitely be looking into those. And I don't know why I didn't even think of checking wrestling ones...
Another one I've checked a few episodes of is Sawbones, medical stuff of interest presented in a digestible and interesting way. And because I'm a dork and loves me my CBC, there's a podcast of a radio show called Ideas hosted by Paul Kennedy that I like. Lots of cool thinkers are featured and interviewed by Kennedy, and it's consistently good even though some of the topics might seem dryer than a popcorn fart.
Please, keep them coming!

Can anyone recommend a good podcast that talks about wrestling in the past? There was a nice podcast that talked about specific eras or even specific weeks in the wrestling world. I completely forgot the name. I don't like up to date wrestling podcast because I often watch wrestling in delay.
As far as gaming goes - I really like the "Gamers With Jobs" podcast. It is perfectly balanced, the hosts are really cool and intelligent.
I also like The Angry Chicken, a podcast about Hearthstone and Into The Nexus, a podcast from the same guy about Heroes of the Storm.
There's also Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, which is very interesting but the episodes tend to be super long. Be warned.

The only podcast I listen to is Edge & Christian's Podcast of Awesomeness (E&CPOA for short) it's basically them mucking about and being themselves with interviews with wrestling guests thrown in.

I've been getting into Fighting Network Friends as of late. If you're interested in the old worked shootfighting federations like UWF, Pancrase & Fighting Network Rings, Give it a go. :)

Cum Town is the best podcast going if you want comedy.
We Hate Movies was good last time I listened to it but it's been awhile. Always skip the live episodes.
Can anyone recommend a good podcast that talks about wrestling in the past? Jim Cornette's Drive-Thru is basically unmatched. Jim's a big history nerd and goes in-depth on user submitted questions. His regular podcast is unlistenable due to all the politics talk.
