So with the ps4 release besides the obvious njpw content and new UI have any other quality of life improvements been made? Thus far I feel pretty irritated that I havent seen or heard of anything. This is one of the big things I was dreading might happen.
Only quality of life stuff seems to be increased slots for voices. Any changes to menus, managing roster, ability to edit belt side plates, save rule presets etc etc?

Its utterly ridiculous that the title customization has regressed since Returns. The same 10 belts 15 years later, with less options. Bullshit.

I never really bothered with them beyond the cursory toss a few plates on a strap, name it and call it good.

From what I've asked and had answered, the new UI is about 95% reskin. There appear to be a few minimal ease of use adjustments (ability to hit R1/L1 to change stables during wrestler select) which are nice, but overall it's the same lacking UI it's always been with a more modern coat of paint.

I really hope they finally fix "keybord". Maybe change Choke Slam into one word as well. I know I can change it manually but it just bugs me to hell for some reason that it's wrong by default.

I believe the director said that actually QOL adjustments would hopefully come letter as they had to “start over” on some stuff in development

That's exactly what was said. There are minor improvements but mostly they focused on sprucing up the visuals and in general trying to get everything up and running. There were still one or two odd bugs (edits with disappearing faces, mainly the default Kazuchika Okada; edit mode slowdown) but they have since been fixed, it looks like.

It doesnt happen as much as it used to in previous incarnations but i seriously would love if they reanimated or removed the insane falling out of the ring directly onto my head bump...Its probably one of the sickest animated moves in all the games yet instantly no sold...

Fortunately they added loading icons, so the delay when switching edits doesn't look too bad now! :D

I always manually sell it when it happens to me.

Selling has always been a problem in general since I've been playing these games. Too often does a wrestler get right back up after being hit with a finisher. For example; I remember using GreatnessGD's Ultimate Warrior edit - he'd do his body press (which dropped the opponent on his stomach) then run to perform his ground splash but the opponent always got up before the pin. I don't understand why Spike doesn't make it so that when someone gets hit by a top robe move they forcibly stay down for a period of time. i don't quite understand the reason behind never fixing this seemingly flaw. If you wait too long before hitting someone with a top rope move they almost always get right back up.
