uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but my game still has no graphics. cant make sense of it If you have just a black screen, and you have this mod patched in, try the ‘return to main menu’ button in the EGO mod window and see if that gets rid of the blank black screen. It is listed under the known issues in the first post. I got the black screen the first time I loaded the game with this mod on, the menu button was my fix. JP

It's not a mod issue, there's several posts about in the Support forum on Steam...I don't think anyone there has found a reliable fix either.

Working on a basic mod that will allow players to override a match's ring, venue and default wrestlers if they exist. While the NJPW DLC isn't out for testing yet, I'm hoping that this will allow players who don't want to use Spike's defaults in Fighting Road to replace them with their own edits. Also, the ring and venue overrides should be useful so you're not forced to fight on the same mat/location that I've seen in every Let's Play of Fighting Road so far. As an example, here's old man Steel Johnson training the latest rookie in mission mode.

Can not understate how useful this mod is. With thousands of edits flooding the workshop, the poor edit mode UI became one of, if not THE biggest flaw of the game, almost immediately after release.
I'm getting the PS4 version, and will be porting hundreds of edits over, and this will make that job infinitely easier. Thank you so much.

I tried to edit the DLC version of Takayama but could not find him. Is he truly unable to edit, even with this mod? I would like to edit his colors to not be so grey/highlighted. This was done with the first version of the mod, so not sure if anything changed since then.

Unfortunately, while you can load up the defaults, you can't overwrite them; at least I haven't found a method that allows overwriting without crashing the game. However, I'll be including an option to override any matches with a default soon. This should allow you to use your custom version of Takayama in any match that uses the default; I made an example with Steel Johnson and mission mode.

Yeah, I noticed I can't edit Mr. Judgement (default ref) either. I don't want to overwrite the defaults though, I want to create edits from them. Already done so with the default SWA guys.

View,
Just wanted to say a word of thanks for this mod. One of my favorite parts of this game is updating appearances and move sets, and the vanilla UI is a freaking nightmare and my biggest issue with the original release. Your mod fills such a big need!

I have a bunch of duplicates that I’ve been slowly going thru and this makes it soooo much easier to do.

Updated the initial post with information on the new injury system. Can seem complicated at first glance, but should be easy to follow once you've played around with it a bit.

Just to confirm, this will allow you to make changes to the download wrestler only from the workshop? Will it not make an edit of that wrestler on your game?
So does this work in real time? Like if there's an injury for say 1 month, I turn the game off after that match and don't play the game again until 1 month, will the guy be healed?

Better Edit Management exposes the downloaded edit so you can work on it like a created copy. The downloaded edit is already in your game, it's just hidden and has a workshop subscription tied to it; once you've updated the edit you'll see the entry show up in your Edit Creation list. Once you download an edit from the workshop, it remains in your game until you actively delete it; not even the edit being removed from the workshop affects your copy. 2. Yes, it works in real time. So, if you turn off the game and boot up after a wrestler's recovery date has passed, he will be removed from the injury list.

The injury system sounds great. Hope to have time to check it out soon.
