That logo is absolutely beautiful and I'm like fighting myself to not load Red Dead 2 right now 😁 Very interested to see what you do with this promotion!! Sounds like it will be both traditional and unique! 😎 Porting over the announcement from the previous page: Ladies and gentlemen, we've got ourselves a new fed starting up... straight out of the heart of Houston, Texas, owned and operated by none other than the Marshall family. American Frontier Wrestling is due to start up in about a week and a half... Thursday, November 12. And it's got a damn big show to kick things off, too, a card that'll go up after next week's Showdown concludes. You're gonna see something a bit different on that Showdown card, because for the first time in quite a long time, there won't be a Pacific Northwest Championship defense... because Phoenix Rising has allowed it to move to this show instead, seeing as Lance is the next man in line for that belt. So what's the roster for this fed, anyway? Some of the best of the best, not just from Texas but all around the South, most of which will be making AFW their new permanent home. Let's take a quick rundown. Lance Marshall Cassandra Marshall Terra Marshall Sung Moon Diosa Syringa Carmen Latour Ian Robinson Maya Minh Sai Ryan Donovan Riley Montgomery Jackson Shaw Mason Hayes Dominic Stanton Allison Avery Nathan Haines
Johnny Rocket Wanted: DOA (Kass the Stampede/Blanche Wesson-Smith) Georgia EaglesThe only members of this roster that'll continue to work on multiple shows: Lance and Cassandra, who will continue to run on Showdown (especially seeing as they're still the reigning Tag Team Champions), and Diosa Syringa, who will continue to work with the Academy (even if she wasn't a current champion, she'd stick around, no doubt about it.) We also might eventually see Terra branch out to Phoenix Rising, but that's being held off for the time being.
At any rate, this is what's been brewing for a good while... it'll happen once a month, replacing one of the usual Evergreen slots. Don't miss this debut, it's gonna be a hell of a ride.

All that said, I can't take credit for the logo thing (I have zero artistic ability), so as usual, Hana (that is, Princess Pepperoni) gets the credit for that one. Still, I've been pretty excited to get this one rolling, and now it's just about time. It'll likely make my workload easier in the long run since I don't have to worry about Evergreen/AFW more than the one time a month going forward, though it'll probably change how Evergreen operates just slightly. Gotta think about how things are gonna change, probably wind up doing title defenses for Evergreen every two months so things don't slow to a crawl. I'unno I'm rambling, mostly, spitballing ideas, but you get the idea here, lol.

All right, let's return the focus to Phoenix Rising itself for just a bit here... as the next show is Monday night, with Showdown #66. Michelle Rochefort vs. Besos
Pure Gold vs. The Heyward Sisters
Silver Hawk vs. Telan Kintelas
Haruka Matsura vs. Ruthless Nicole Alger
The GOAT vs. Les Beautes Blondes (Angel/Celine)
Shiana Sentarl in action
Urani Whitemist vs. Markos Andreas vs. Revon Beauregard
Candace Monroe vs. Fenix Oscuro
Todd Colton and Natasha Clover vs. Eri and Kaelara SentarlKicking things off this week, we've got plenty of Pacific Northwest division action... and we've got plenty from Les Beautes Blondes this week, as well. Michelle Rochefort gets things rolling against Besos here, a clash of technical prowess and pure lucha talent.
Vindication has their sights set on trying to ruin everyone's day... and Pure Gold will have the first shot at it against the Heyward sisters. With Anari dropping the Pacific Northwest Championship, she's back into the mix here, but this match is going to be tough to get through, with Pure Gold steadily building up as one of the most dominant teams around.
Further Pacific Northwest division action here as Silver Hawk and Telan Kintelas square off, speed against power, a familiar dynamic between them. Telan's looking to push his way back up the rankings, but Hawk will be after the same goal after falling short of defeating Anari for the title during the Grand Ascension.
It would seem that the Limbtakers have somehow gotten the attention of the Malevolent Triad, and Ruthless Nicole Alger finds herself stepping into the ring with the dangerous Haruka Matsura. There's no doubt, however, that RNA has what it takes against the ninja, and the Limbtakers could start their night off strong in this one.
Victor Kintelas had a solid Grand Ascension run, but came well short of his goal to win his block and the tournament. Still, he certainly did better than Angel Leblanc, who struggled deeply through the entire tournament... now, though, both will be stepping into the ring with their usual partners, with Kellaron Sentarl backing up Victor, and Celine Chevalier returning to action alongside her leader.
Once again, we haven't gotten word of who Shiana Sentarl is facing on this show... the last time we heard this, she got into the ring with Rachel White, which proved to be more competitive than most would've expected. But there's no telling what she's planning here...
This might have some serious implications in the near future. This three-way contest is essentially a Pacific Northwest #1 Contender's match, as Urani stands to be next in line after Lance Marshall... but Markos and Revon are both after that spot themselves, and although Urani has been a shockingly dominant figure as of late, she certainly has her weaknesses... and they could be exploited right here.
Candace Monroe seems determined to raise her stock to its highest level ever. And although she'll be just three days removed from what could be a grueling tag team tournament in UCSS, she's not likely to back down from this challenge: the leader of the Malevolent Triad, Fenix Oscuro, hasn't been in action often lately, but that doesn't mean she's any less dangerous than she's ever been...
Capping off the night, Todd Colton, still frustrated over his loss in the Grand Ascension finals to Eri Sentarl, has challenged the Little Phoenix... this time in tag team action, as he brings Natasha Clover into the fray. Eri, meanwhile, will of course bring her sister Kaelara along for this main event... can Todd avenge his defeat, or will Eri only prove further that she deserves her place at the top?

Back into the mix we go. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/797849232Youtube: youtu.be/IVSG_m3C5N4Quick Results Besos def. Michelle Rochefort The Heyward Sisters def. Pure Gold Telan Kintelas def. Silver Hawk Haruka Matsura def. Ruthless Nicole Alger The GOAT def. Angel Leblanc and Celine Chevalier Shiana Sentarl def. Betty Black Trunks (c'mon...) Urani Whitemist def. Markos Andreas and Revon Beauregard Fenix Oscuro def. Candace Monroe Todd Colton and Natasha Clover def. The Sentarl Sisters Laura Tate def. Yuki Maeda Write-ups This match got the action going early, with Michelle's technical ability clashing with Besos and her lucha style. And neither came alone, with the entirety of Les Beautes Blondes out in support... while Besos came with backup of her own in Mega Meat and the incredible high-flying duo that is Layla and Relampaga. Besos would ultimately take this one after a few big moves, a 450 finishing the job in resounding fashion. A huge statement victory for the Heywards here, as they weathered a massive storm of offense from Pure Gold here en route to scoring a massive upset. Anari held the team together with her resilience and power, and Lis scored the win with a huge SSP to steal the show. Perhaps Telan was in a fouler mood than usual tonight, but this got ugly in a hurry, and he never let up on offense. Hawk tried to hold his ground, but Telan bloodied him on the outside, then delivered a brutal powerbomb to seal the victory. Haruka Matsura had to work hard to get this victory, with RNA simply relentless with her usual armwork... and no matter what Haruka threw out, RNA fought her way out, at least until she finally landed Death From Above to keep the young shooter down properly. This was a massive showcase of just how good of a team the GOAT really are. While Angel and Celine are certainly no pushovers (much as recent history would suggest), Victor and Kellaron just had complete control here, and with Kellaron on the apron, he grabbed Angel just long enough for Victor to land his cutter, scoring a major victory. We could see a contender's match next Showdown: no doubt, it's likely to see the Heywards and the GOAT squaring off to see who challenges the Wild West for the titles. Nobody knew what to expect from this match... but most suspected that something was going to happen. Turns out Shiana had lined up a match with an ENHANCE wrestler... Betty Black Trunks could only get in a few headlocks before Shiana about knocked her head off with a Superkick, while Vindication celebrated the win as though it were a huge undertaking. Twice, now, Shiana's set up a mystery opponent that's been... less than impressive, much to the annoyance of those who would step into the ring with her for a real match... Pure chaos, as expected from a typical three-way match, but one thing became very clear by the end: Urani Whitemist is still a force to be reckoned with, and cannot be ignored. She took out Markos Andreas with a camel clutch late, then held her ground against Revon Beauregard long enough to land an Ushi-goroshi, dropping an elbow to finish the match. It took a lot to get to the end of this one, with Candace Monroe fighting with everything she had to try and shut Oscuro down. But Oscuro simply would not be denied... and the ropes would work heavily against both sides tonight until Oscuro locked in her brutal Romero variation, forcing the submission. This match likely could've gone another ten minutes, if not for Eri having trouble near the end. This was hotly competitive, with Todd looking his best, and he'd hit a moonsault on Kaelara late in the match, just far enough from the ropes to not break up the pin... and close enough that Eri couldn't find the space to make the save. It seems this might not be over. One final bonus match closed out the show, and what was expected to be a serious brawl wound up being a complete domination by Laura Tate. The huge powerhouse cleaned up against Yuki, wiping out the veteran without hardly breaking a sweat...

This Thursday: we've got the hotly-anticipated debut of American Frontier Wrestling, with a hell of a card lined up. Live, from Houston, Texas... Mason Hayes vs. Ryan DonovanSung Moon vs. Maya Minh SaiJohnny Rocket vs. Ian RobinsonDiosa Syringa vs. Allison AveryCassandra and Terra Marshall vs. Wanted: DOAGeorgia Eagles vs. Dominic StantonCarmen Latour vs. Riley MontgomeryJackson Shaw vs. Nathan HainesLance Marshall vs. Mascara Avispa for the Pacific Northwest ChampionshipKicking things off, the first match in AFW history will be between the big man, Mason Hayes, and the always-dangerous striker in Ryan Donovan. This one's almost certain to be a hard-hitting affair, and likely set the tone for the night... almost certainly setting the stage for AFW's style. Two of the brightest stars that the Phoenix Rising organization has seen in a long time have signed full-time with AFW, and they'll square off here, looking to impress. Korean-American Sung Moon takes on Vietnamese-American Maya Minh Sai... can Moon's Booker T-inspired style handle Maya's stunning technical ability? We're coming to you live from Houston... how can you leave out one of Houston's finest? Johnny Rocket steps into the ring to bring his high-flying skills to an all-new environment, with the Wrestle Parade superstar set to take on Ian Robinson, who definitely stands with comparatively more power than his opponent here... One-half of the reigning Academy Tag Team Champions, Diosa Syringa calls San Antonio home... but as good as her Academy run has been, she's got a tough one here against the Lariat Queen of Little Rock. Allison Avery, no longer set to be overlooked in her new environment, could have a major breakout moment here... and could take her new home by storm. The sole tag match on this week's show sees the Marshall sisters stepping into the ring against the duo of Blanche Wesson-Smith and Kass the Stampede... Wanted: DOA. Coming over from Wrestle Parade (much like Johnny Rocket earlier in the night and Georgia Eagles immediately after), they'll be out to make a major statement against Cassandra and Terra... but after seeing what Terra Marshall is capable of recently, it's not going to be an easy matchup. Dominic Stanton may not have had much of a chance to make a name for himself yet, but if he can stand his ground against Georgia Eagles, it'll mean a lot for the young man out of Kentucky. But make no mistake: if given half a chance, Georgia will put this match to a truly spectacular end, as we've seen more than once in the past. The Cajun Spitfire squares off with a wild brawler out of West Virginia, as Carmen Latour's impressive speed and agility are matched up with Riley Montgomery's ferocity and aggression. Some might be surprised to see Riley land in AFW after seeking to go to war with Freya O'Malley in Evergreen... but it's still entirely possible the two cross paths. For now, though, it would seem Riley's got her attention set on impressing those in charge of AFW. The penultimate match of the night might just be one of the hardest-hitting, most brutal matches we've seen in a long time. Tennessee's Jackson Shaw and Wyoming's Nathan Haines... two dangerous powerhouses that won't hesitate for a second to take the fight to each other. Expect this match to turn into a war if one or the other can't get an early foothold... Finally, capping off the night, the Pacific Northwest Championship will be defended, after the title skipped a Showdown for the first time since its introduction. Mascara Avispa will be looking to make a major defense here after capturing the title from Anari Lynn Heyward on the final night of the Grand Ascension... but Lance Marshall is never an easy opponent, and the boss will be looking to make it clear that he's in charge on the first night of his new promotion... Lance Marshall "So, here we are, comin' up on the big debut. I've been lookin' forward to this since before the big 50-state tournament kicked off, with all the new people comin' around... and now you're gettin' a look at the best around. Strong chance we wind up gettin' even more in the comin' months, but you better believe one way or another, AFW is gonna be a big deal before long...
And as for the Pacific Northwest Championship... you damn well better believe I'm takin' that home with me. Avispa's good... maybe one of the best in the world right now. But he ain't bringin' me down. That title's gonna be mine... and it ain't gonna be long before my name's back up there as the best in the world again."

Mascara Avispa: "So, now you know why I didn't defend this belt last Monday - turns out, it's time for a little homecoming. Looks like Lance got himself a playground, huh? Good for him. Been a while since there's been a wrestling company worth a damn in the Lone Star state. Not since before I was even born, really. And Lance wants to take this PNW title for himself as part of his inaugural show. Well, sorry, but that ain't happening, cabron. It's been a long time since I've really come back to my old home. I know there's gonna be people watching from the Westside of San Antonio, people who knew everything I did to make it to where I am today, and I don't plan on disappointing 'em. I guess it's fitting then, that you're my first challenger for this belt. You got the size and weight advantage on me... But really, what good are those advantages gonna be when I pull your arm right out of its socket? You have seen what I can do, yeah? My suggestion to you would be to warm that big right arm of yours up so it doesn't go *pop!* so easy.
"You're not wrong about me being one of the best in the world. Though... I don't know if I like being called a living legend, 'cause I'm very much alive and kicking - not some broken down old muscle car or a museum piece. But hey, for when I can actually be called a legend, I wouldn't mind putting one more superlative next to my name - Giant Killer. And brother, you would be a good person to play that role right now. I know you want that glory of winning in the main event of the show you put together yourself, but you're not getting that win so easily. I'm not here for a friendly spar - especially not when there's gold on the line. I'm here to make my claim of being the best Texas has to offer. No matter what, I'm gonna win. Any means necessary."

And there it stands, the rise of a new fed, giving new life to some of the forgotten. AFW has arrived. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/801156321Youtube: youtu.be/-8VX6PYu2x4Quick Results Mason Hayes def. Ryan Donovan Maya Minh Sai def. Sung Moon Johnny Rocket def. Ian Robinson Diosa Syringa def. Allison Avery Cassandra and Terra Marshall def. Wanted: DOA Dominic Stanton def. Georgia Eagles Riley Montgomery def. Carmen Latour Jackson Shaw def. Nathan Haines Lance Marshall def. Mascara Avispa to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Champion Write-ups The tone for the night was set early by these two for the first-ever AFW match... making it very clear that the night would be full of hard-hitting, competitive matchups. Mason Hayes once again showed how dangerous he can be, the big man bringing his power to bear against Ryan Donovan, but although Hayes won this one, Donovan certainly made it a hell of a fight before Mason hit a crushing Alabama Slam to score the win. Sung Moon might've been thrown off early by a badly-missed dive, along with Maya breaking her concentration as she tried to throw out everything she had... only for Maya to keep bouncing right back. The Vietnamese-American from Virginia also cut off the Spinaroonie, much to the dismay of the crowd... and she'd ultimately force Sung to tap out to the Lotus Lock. This match got off to a rough start for Rocket, busted open early by Ian Robinson and forcing him to play catch-up for the whole match. But Rocket hasn't gotten as far as he has by being easy to beat... and over the course of the next fifteen minutes, he made it very clear that nothing was going to stop him from winning his AFW debut match, enduring everything Robinson had to offer and landing the Starship Voyage to score probably the best victory of the night. Syringa's pure technical ability clashed with Allison's brawling and lariat prowess... and no matter how hard Allison tried, Syringa just would not stay down, trapping her in the brutal Strangle Hold Gamma, but eventually settling for a quick flash-counter rollup, giving the Academy star a major victory. The experience and chemistry from Wanted: DOA proved enough to keep them in this one for a good while... but Terra Marshall's raw power, and Cassandra's pure ability eventually turned the tide. Cassandra found just the right moment to land her crushing Wheelbarrow Driver, and Terra just managed to block the save in time to give the Marshalls the victory. Simply put, this was a showdown between fantastic talents... Georgia the more experienced, and probably the stronger of the two. But Dominic Stanton, new as he is, didn't back down from the challenge, and wore Georgia down until he managed to land a crushing ripcord chokeslam, scoring a bit of a surprise victory. This was the shortest match of the night, but no less action-packed, as Carmen Latour was relentless in trying to keep Riley Montgomery down. She perhaps spent too much time on the outside fighting with Riley, though, and wound up outmatched... flipped and dropped in short order to give Riley the fast-paced win. What you expected... is exactly what you got. A vicious, wild brawl between these two, with Nathan Haines working in bursts, while Jackson Shaw remained more methodical, steadily wearing Haines down with his Stretch Plum submission, and eventually forcing Haines to submit. This likely puts Jackson as a front-runner to take the top spot in AFW... Closing out the night, Lance Marshall simply would not be denied the prize of the Pacific Northwest Championship... and thus, a Phoenix Rising Triple Crown. This isn't to say that Avispa made it easy: the superstar junior was on fire tonight, trying to wear Lance down through attrition, but Lance was far more motivated tonight than he's seemingly been in months... and one final crushing lariat would seal the win and the title. More to come tomorrow, I think (or later tonight depending on when I get things figured out, lol). For now... this was probably one of the best overall shows I've had in a while, really enjoyed this. Once a month going forward, Evergreen will run on the same schedule (two weeks after AFW, Evergreen will run its monthly show).

Mascara Avispa"Tch, hit a nerve there, eh guey...? I guess you actually listened to that 'friendly spar' line, then. But... yes, yes, congratulations on your successful inaugural show and title win, Mr. Marshall! I'm sure all the fans in H-Town were elated to see you win. Oh, sure, I heard some grumbling in the stands 'cause I was repping the black and silver... or their throwback colors, at least. But, hey, what would one expect from a city that keeps worshipping a bunch of signal-stealing cheats and their World Series championship with a big fuckin' asterisk next to the year they won it?"
He grumbles as he ices his neck, pacing around the locker room impatiently.
"Ugh, sorry, I'm just kind of pissed. Not at the fans, nor not (really) at you, but more myself. Really, I'm glad you actually took me seriously. A part of me worried that you were seeing me as easy pickings for more gold to put around your waist, and in your trophy case. Felt sort of insulted, you know? I'm used to the 'big guys only' mindset from the old guard. But hey, at least I can be happy about forcing you to bust out your Cattle Drive a few dozen times just to keep me down...
"... Actually, nah, you know what? I'm not happy about that. Call me a sore loser if you want, but I'd rather say that I'm motivated by failure. I know you only brought me back to Texas for a one-off match. Makes sense - there's a reason people are callin' me the G.O.A.T., like I'm the King James, or Black Mamba, or MJ of the squared circle, so why not bring me in to get people hype as fuck? But brother, that ain't enough for me. Not by a longshot. You took the title belt right off my waist, so the way I see it, when you finish drawing up a design for your championship and send it off to get it made, you might as well get a name plate made for me in advance. And you might as well talk with your suits to get something printed up for me to sign off on, as well - I want in on the ground floor of AFW, because - for all the shit I feel like talking to you right now - I wanna make this company of yours a success. And well, at least when it comes to the Lone Star State? You and I have some business to settle down the line. Until then, I guess we could be good buds and laugh this all off next time we're up in Washington, yeah? Yeah.
"Oh, and Hailey? I don't think you should be fighting ol' Duke's fights for him. He's a big boy - active in the ring to this day, even - so he can figure out where we go from here... even if that means I'm coming in for your big comeback tour. Or if it means he writes it off as some millennial shithead talking a big game without knowing a damn thing about the way the old guard handled business. Well, whatever. If he has a thing to say to me, I'm all ears."

Better late than never on getting this card up, right? Naoko Yoshida vs. Anahera
Rafael Gallego vs. Sanya Markov
Adrenaline Rush vs. The Muscle Machines
Shiori Yoshida vs. Xiu Mei Li
Riccardo De Luca vs. HAYATO
The Golden Ambush vs. Amber and Arthur Wright
Nick MacLeod vs. Rilantha De Nav
Anna Bryant vs. Calista Vargas, #1 Contender for the Inspire Championship
The Excellent Blades vs. La Familia for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships You're not seeing things: The Yoshida Twins are in rare singles action this week, as they both separately take on the members of the Rising Storm. Naoko kicks things off (almost literally oh GOD that's bad) as she squares off with the Maori Warrior, Anahera. The most decorated team in Phoenix Rising seems to have set their sights on one of the fastest-rising teams around... or perhaps the twins are looking for their biggest challenge yet. Rafael Gallego also seems to be setting the stage for a rare singles opportunity as he looks towards Sanya Markov. The young luchador will have an uphill battle, especially with Sanya's newfound power... but we've also seen that the Gallegos are never to be underestimated. The Muscle Machines might just be putting everything together lately, but this might be the real test against Adrenaline Rush. If Gear and AAA can keep their momentum going with a win over Nitro and Thunder, they might be in the conversation for another shot at the tag titles... though, one has to remember that they lost their last attempt in dramatic fashion to La Familia. Shiori Yoshida is a bit more no-nonsense than her sister: while Naoko is a bit flashier in her style, Shiori is a dangerously focused young woman. Even so, she's got a nasty surprise on the way in Xiu Mei Li... maybe one of the single most talented wrestlers in all of Phoenix Rising. It'll be Shiori's array of arm submissions against Xiu's one single move: her absolutely devastating STF. Riccardo De Luca isn't starting small, that much is certain: he's got his sights on HAYATO this week, after dropping his Proving Ground debut match to Akira Ryusaki. HAYATO, for his part, has picked himself back up after a rough stretch, and now seeks to fight his way back up the ranks... The former Proving Ground tag champs are back in action, with the Golden Ambush taking on Arthur and Amber here. With some referring to the Wright duo as the "Wright Stuff", this brother and sister duo has been on fire in their last few appearances, showing off some truly impressive teamwork, and may be looking for a shot at the tag titles soon... but the Ambush will not be easy to stop. Rilantha De Nav hasn't been quite there lately. She's had trouble bringing back the spark that's carried her to the top of the ranks, and this match against Nick MacLeod may be a final effort to recapture that spirit. She'll be giving up plenty in this one: size and strength the most obvious ones. But perhaps this is the turning point? Fresh Suzuki will be watching this match intently... because the winner here will be her next challenger, likely at New Year's Bash next month. Anna Bryant and Calista Vargas have been nothing short of the top two talents in the Inspire Division, without a single doubt... but only one of them can rise up and potentially become the next Inspire Champion. But Fresh Suzuki will not go quietly, there's simply no doubt about that. Finally, capping off the night, the Excellent Blades have more than earned another shot at the tag titles, and they'll square off with La Familia in this week's main event, looking to topple the lucha duo. With Nicole Blade's incredible power and Donna Nobel's technique, they could be in a position to pull off the biggest win of their careers...

I'd say we're firmly in the build towards New Year's Bash now... we've got two matches set for the end of the year so far, and there's sure to be more to come. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/805891768Youtube: youtu.be/KChKSQ6tCwMQuick Results Anahera def. Naoko Yoshida Sanya Markov def. Rafael Gallego Adrenaline Rush def. The Muscle Machines Xiu Mei Li def. Shiori Yoshida Riccardo De Luca def. HAYATO Amber and Arthur Wright def. The Golden Ambush Nick MacLeod def. Rilantha De Nav Anna Bryant def. Calista Vargas La Familia def. The Excellent Blades to retain the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships Laura Tate def. Terra Marshall Write-ups Naoko's inexperience in singles competition definitely showed here... although she held her own with Anahera, the veteran definitely had the edge here, and the moment it looked like Naoko might be on the verge of a comeback, Anahera was right there to stop it, choking out the rookie in the Katahajime to put the match to an end. This is the raw, devastating power of Sanya Markov. Right from the start, it felt like he had this match well under control, and no less than three Red Crushes would end Rafael's night in a hurry, with Sanya standing tall and looking like the monster everyone expected him to be all along. The Machines brought their power, but Adrenaline Rush brought agility and teamwork into this one, and they never let up for a second. Thunder proved once again to be the anchor that kept them going, eventually managing to lock in a brutal armbar on AAA, and Gear was far, far too slow to make any sort of save. Shiori's no-nonsense style helped her stay in the fight against Xiu Mei Li, but the veteran once again took the upper hand and didn't hesitate to crank Shiori in her STF, eventually forcing her to tap out and leaving the Yoshidas empty-handed on the night... but it's unlikely they simply walk away from this one. The relentless speed and agility of Riccardo De Luca served him well here, as he absolutely blitzed HAYATO, never really letting him bring his full arsenal to bear before landing a huge Spanish Fly and scoring his first Proving Ground victory. We could be looking at the next challengers for the tag titles, as Arthur and Amber weathered some of the Golden Ambush's biggest moves, pushed past the interference of Reina del Tigre, and put a resounding finish to the night with Arthur's Screwdriver, putting them well in line to perhaps be considered for a New Year's Bash title showdown... We definitely saw glimmers of the unstoppable veteran, but Ril couldn't finish the job tonight, with Nick steadily wearing her down before trapping her in an STF variation that left her with no choice. Still... is Ril really at the end of her rope, or is there something left? Anna Bryant remains perhaps the best in the division. Not only did she match Calista Vargas move for move, she even stole the incredible Stormbreaker... and although Calista would land the genuine article later on, Anna had set the tone, and locked in the Anaconda Vice to cement her place on the New Year's Bash card. We're looking at one hell of a duo here. Chico Con Carne fought with everything he had to get their tag title shot... they won the titles from the Golden Ambush, and now have defended their titles against two very tough teams in the Muscle Machines and the Excellent Blades. Donna and Nicole certainly gave this one their all, but the relentless lucha attack from La Familia ultimately proved too much... and a Chico Destroyer sealed the deal and kept the titles where they are. Laura Tate had to work a lot harder in this bonus match than the one she fought in last week. Terra Marshall gave the powerhouse everything she could handle, including stealing Laura's powerbomb finisher, the Rapid City Ravager. Still, Laura hasn't gotten to where she is by being easy to beat... and even Terra was forced to give in when Laura locked in the brutal camel clutch variation: none other than the classic Steiner Recliner. Laura might have found herself somewhere to land... and it just might be AFW.

Before we get into Showdown's card for Monday... well, we've got some words from a certain champion. Lance Marshall "Been a real long time comin'. Finally havin' a singles belt of my own again. Bein' tag champs with Cassie is one thing... standin' on my own as a champion, that's somethin' else entirely. But, see... this Pacific Northwest Championship... defended back home in Houston, between two Texans, and won by me, in front of a roarin' hometown crowd. See, there's somethin' to the 'Pacific Northwest Championship'... but in my eyes, it's got a certain legacy to it. A belt that nobody can hang onto for more than a couple of weeks before they make way for the next person in line. I ain't that sort of person. And if I'm bein' real honest, I don't exactly like the idea of carryin' a title 'round Houston that's referrin' to you folk up in Seattle...
So let me get right to the point. To hell with the Northwest. To hell with a title that don't mean shit 'cause nobody knows how to defend the damn thing. What you're lookin' at over my shoulder here is the brand-new Spirit of Texas Championship... the flagship title of American Frontier Wrestling. Y'all wanted to know why I stepped down from the World Championship division to take on the Pacific Northwest? Now ya' see the endgame. Now ya' finally get a sense of why I'd take so much time to do it. So y'all up in Seattle can keep fightin' over a title that's stood for mediocrity for the whole damn year. Y'all can hot-potato that belt back and forth as much as ya' want... but what you're lookin' at right now? You're lookin' at a real champion, a man who knows how to take on anyone and everyone that comes my way. I'll be stayin' home here in Houston this week... so y'all can figure things out for Monday.
And if any of ya' ever got a problem with that... then you can put up or shut up by comin' down my way and fightin' for it Texan-style." Response from Phoenix Rising management Given the current situation, the decision has been made to vacate the Pacific Northwest Championship, especially as Mr. Marshall has stated he will not be present for this week's show. As a result, the title will be on the line in an 8-way battle royal as this week's main event, between the top eight ranked members of the division. In addition, a #1 contender for the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships, also currently held by Marshall, will be decided over the next three shows ahead of New Year's Bash. So, with the lines drawn, and perhaps some tension rising up between Phoenix Rising and Lance Marshall... let's take a look at what the card will be this week. Yuki Maeda vs. Haruka Matsura
Selisha vs. Listalva Anne Heyward
Pure Gold vs. Blake Dynamite and Mascara Avispa
Anari Lynn Heyward vs. Fenix Oscuro
Shiana Sentarl vs. Robbie Roberts
Todd Colton and Natasha Clover vs. Angel Leblanc and Michelle Rochefort
Candace Monroe vs. Cassandra Marshall
Eri Sentarl vs. Sophia Moretti
Urani Whitemist vs. Revon Beauregard vs. Markos Andreas vs. Kyle Anderson vs. La Relampaga vs. Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. Celine Chevalier vs. Rachel White for the Pacific Northwest Championship Kicking things off this week, Yuki Maeda, last seen getting crushed by the South Dakota Beast, Laura Tate, now looks to get back on track. The old vet seemingly has her sights set on Haruka Matsura of the Malevolent Triad... on a night that appears to be quite busy for the Triad, as well. Selisha will be the second member to step into the ring this week, and it seems she's got an eye on Queen Anne... the dangerous Naga Queen could prove a very, very tough call for Listalva here, as both seek to raise their stock in the closing months of 2020. The first of what's likely a series of contender matches to see who will challenge the Wild West at New Year's Bash... and with Lance Marshall seemingly not in management's good graces all of a sudden, they'll be looking for the best team to take him down. It's entirely possible one of these two teams could be the one, with Pure Gold, the absolute powerhouses of the division, and the "Dynawasps", easily the most dynamic and dangerous high-flyers around, both more than capable of making a huge impact. Fenix Oscuro once again returns to the ring to face a very, very tough foe in Anari Lynn Heyward. We haven't seen much of Oscuro as of late, but it seems she's finally getting back on track... still, one can't help but feel that there's been a different feeling about her lately. Shiana Sentarl isn't even trying to hide it anymore. Her match against Rachel was considered a joke until Rachel made it a fight... her match last week against Betty Black Trunks was absolutely a joke, and one that's almost certainly gotten under the skin of multiple people. And now, she's made it no secret... she's set to take on another member of the ENHANCE stable in Robbie Roberts, with a brief statement congratulating him on his Golden Touch victory... Todd Colton still isn't really satisfied with the way things ended in the Grand Ascension... but at the very least, he got a measure of revenge on Eri Sentarl last week as he defeated the Sentarl Sisters alongside Natasha Clover. Now this dangerous team has their sights set on Les Beautes Blondes... and a duo that we've rarely seen much of, in Angel and Michelle. Still, this is hardly the first time the two have teamed up, and Todd and Natasha both will need to be on top of their game for this match. Candace Monroe remains in the singles game for now, prepared to cheer her tag partner on later in the night... but first, she's got to set her focus on one-half of the reigning tag team champions in Cassandra Marshall. A win here might give the Limbtakers a shot to prove themselves as the top team on Showdown, but there's simply no telling what might happen here. Eri Sentarl seems to have a gameplan for her upcoming match with Laenara Kintelas for the World Championship. She's looking for two things: to stay sharp ahead of the biggest match of her life, and to prepare herself for what she's going to see at New Year's Bash, starting with perhaps her oldest rival in Phoenix Rising. Her path has crossed Sophia's more than a few times in the past... and Eri will be looking to prepare herself against one of the premiere submission artists in the world today. Finally, capping off the night, a colossal eight-way battle royal to determine a new Pacific Northwest Champion, after Lance Marshall's statement earlier today. The PNW title was quickly vacated... and now, these eight names will seek to take the title for themselves. On one hand, not having to deal with Lance to claim the belt is a plus, but for some, that may have been the better option rather than trying to push through seven other people... there's simply no telling who might come out on top, but with two members of Les Beautes Blondes having a shot at standing tall in the end, could we see some French dominance to close out the night?

Mascara Avispa"So much for keeping things friendly up north, huh Lance? And no-showing Showdown, too! Man, here I thought you were all about being a fighting champion representing the Lone Star State against all comers. Jeez, bro, I didn't figure you to be the type to take your ball - or strap, here - and go home. And most of all, I didn't really figure you to be the type to make some big move like starting AFW, just to keep the glory all to yourself. But maybe I'm just a poor judge of character? Whatever.
"I've got that hot Texan blood running through my veins, but Phoenix Rising? This is my turf. Has been for two years now. Yeah, it's cold and rainy most of the time up here, but unlike you, I'm proud to say I fight for this territory. So the way I see it, I have two big reasons to remind you, again, that I'm calling my shot for that belt. Right now, I can't say I got much respect for you anymore, but there's a lot of good people in your employ now. Good people who deserve to be successful. And I see myself as someone who can help make AFW a success and put food on their tables. But also... That Spirit of Texas belt'd look better around the waist of someone who's an actual fighting champ, yeah? So I guess I want to take it back to where it belongs... Up in Seattle, 'round my waist. And until you gimme that shot, I'm gonna keep making noise, day in and day out. I'm gonna ring your work phone nonstop, and hey; I'm pretty sure I can grab your personal number from Cassie's phone and bug you that way, too. Might as well live up to my namesake, yeah?
"So Lance, before all that, you go right ahead and sit at home, vato. Maybe pull out a li'l Texas flag and wave it when Cassie tries not to tap out tonight. Me? I'm gonna do what I do best, what I do every friggin' night, be it here in the Evergreen State, or anywhere else in the world. Pure Gold ain't got shit on me or Blake, and I guess I'll put a li'l extra torque on my llaves just to get a little of that pent-up aggravation outta my system. Let it serve as a preview for what's comin' your way."

Well, we got through it, more or less. The main event had to be completely cut from the VoD, it's 100% unwatchable. Framedrops are the absolute worst and I hope I never have to put up with a connection that bad during a show ever again. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/813896869Youtube: youtu.be/3O1OzWgPCMUQuick Results Haruka Matsura def. Yuki Maeda Selisha def. Listalva Anne Heyward Blake Dynamite and Mascara Avispa def. Pure Gold Fenix Oscuro def. Anari Lynn Heyward Shiana Sentarl vs. Robbie Roberts did not happen: Kileas Kintelas interrupted Todd Colton and Natasha Clover def. Angel Leblanc and Michelle Rochefort Candace Monroe def. Cassandra Marshall Eri Sentarl def. Sophia Moretti La Relampaga won the battle royal to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Champion Write-ups The start of a very, very good night for the Malevolent Triad, kicking off with Haruka making quick work of Yuki Maeda. The veteran's struggled quite a bit lately, getting utterly dismantled by Laura Tate recently, and now, Haruka's made it clear that perhaps Yuki could be at the end of her rope... No rest for the Triad, with Selisha taking the next matchup against Listalva Anne Heyward, and after a fiercely competitive matchup, a brutal twisting Complete Shot led into a Magistral, snapping Lis up and giving the Naga Queen a resounding win, and the Triad moved to 2-0 on the night. Where the Triad succeeded, Vindication struggled. While this match was incredibly close, it was clear after a while that the speed of Blake and Avispa very well might make them the single most dangerous team in all of Phoenix Rising... with incredible teamwork despite only being an official team for a few months, they could be next in line to challenge the Wild West... something that Avispa is certainly eager to go for. Three for three, the Triad sweeps their matches on the night as Fenix Oscuro returned to the ring and weathered the raw power of Anari Lynn Heyward en route to forcing a brutal submission. The Malevolent Triad suddenly looks like a dangerous force again... and trouble could be on the way. Well, it looks like someone's patience finally ran out. Robbie Roberts made his way down to the ring in silence, but the theme that played was not Shiana's... but that of Kileas Kintelas, who ran down to the ring and dispatched the hapless ENHANCE wrestler, throwing him out of the ring before calling out Shiana himself. A tense face-off ensued from there: one that saw the two veterans trading harsh words, but ultimately leading to one firm idea. At New Year's Bash, it will be Kileas Kintelas vs. Shiana Sentarl... no backup, one-on-one. We're very quickly headed towards a showdown at the top of the tag team division: Todd Colton and Natasha Clover have more than staked their claim to that position, and with this win over Les Beautes Blondes, the only team perhaps still standing in the way of their challenging the Wild West would be Blake and Avispa. No doubt we'll see those two teams square off next Showdown, and Lance will be watching closely... Candace had an uphill battle in this match against Cassandra, with the cowgirl's power coming into play, and trying to force Candace to give in to her brutal Cloverleaf variation. But Candace refused, pushed on through all of it, stole Cassandra's Wheelbarrow Driver on the outside... and ultimately, managed to twist her way into a heel hold, forcing Cassandra to submit, and getting Candace firmly on track. The first meeting between these two in quite some time... and it still remains clear that Eri's not the young rookie she was when they first crossed paths. Sophia certainly tried to put the Little Phoenix to sleep a few times, but Eri just would not quit, relentlessly pushing through and ultimately landing a Backstabber to score the victory. She's tested herself against one of Phoenix Rising's premiere submission artists to prepare herself for Laenara's Dragonkiller... but what will she focus on next? Every bit as chaotic as one would expect of an 8-way battle royal. You know what you're getting into with these matches, bad enough that it's mass chaos without the stream frame-dropping constantly. Perhaps the most shocking moment of the night came when Urani Whitemist was the first one eliminated, with Revon Beauregard scoring that major feat... Markos Andreas fell to a quick counter-pin from RNA, and Celine Chevalier sought glory for herself and forced Revon, her own stablemate, to submit... only to then tap out to Rachel White moments later. Kyle Anderson would be the next to fall to a quick flash roll-up from Relampaga, and Rachel would be eliminated shortly thereafter, leaving just Relampaga and RNA in the ring... and Relampaga took full advantage, landing a Superstar Elbow and a standing Shooting Star Press to win the match and become the new Pacific Northwest Champion. Angel Leblanc <I knew it was a terrible idea to let you both in that match! If you were so determined to fight only for yourself rather than the good of Les Beautes Blondes, then perhaps your role with us must change!> Angel spoke in furious, fast-paced French as she paced back and forth, with Celine Chevalier keeping her head lowered, perhaps too ashamed to face her. <You could have brought that title to us, you could have put us back where we belong, but you allowed your own personal greed to take over, and now we're left with nothing!>
<I-I'm sorry. You're right. I failed you, Angel.> Celine slowly lifted her head. <As your knight... I should be held to a better standard. It got the better of me tonight. I... It will not happen again.>
<You're right. It won't.> Angel turned to face her once again. <You will remain at my side. If there is a call for Les Beautes Blondes to join another match of that sort, there will be one of us. I will not risk this happening a second time. And for now, I will confine you to our tag team, so that you may earn my trust again. If you are to remain my knight, Celine... then you must prove you're worthy of the title.>
<I understand.> Celine nodded slowly. <I will not let you down again, Madame. I promise you.>

Now, normally I don't really do stuff on holidays, but... Ehh. This year's been so damn weird, and I don't anticipate running on Thanksgiving to be a huge deal, even if people are gonna probably go "I'ma watch football instead". Screw Thanksgiving football, have some hardcore-style. Iris Coleman vs. Freya O'Malley
Skidmark vs. Kantar
Oakland's Most Metal (Veronika/Rebecca/Sayaka) vs. eMo (Penelope/Chasity/Luci)
Babe Ruthless vs. Jennifer Hunter
Logan Axelrod vs. Julian Shepard
Victoria Fox and Kelly Wolfe vs. KyO and Sabrina
Mercy Devine vs. Eternamente Verde
Elly Blackwood vs. Tasharun vs. Kevin Royce vs. Concrete Pete vs. Strawberry Sookie for the Evergreen Championship Kicking things off for Evergreen this month, two quickly-rising stars face off in a battle for the future. Iris Coleman has the experience edge here, but Freya O'Malley has been beyond impressive since her debut in the 50-State Tournament, and outside of only a couple of losses to incredibly tough opponents, has looked like an absolutely destructive force. There's no telling how this one might turn out, but it's sure to set the tone for a big night. It doesn't get much bigger than this match, though, as the big man Skidmark squares off with maybe one of Evergreen's greatest uncrowned champions in Kantar. That said, even Kantar might find this match to be a tricky one, with Skidmark having been one-half of perhaps one of Evergreen's finest tag teams alongside Concrete Pete. Trios action, which means mass chaos in Evergreen... This may turn out to be one of the wildest matches of the year, with the entire Oakland trio squaring off against Crimson Romance and Penelope Lea, all representing eMo as they seek to keep their hold over Evergreen. Strong chance that this winds up running on elimination rules, as well. Two hard-nosed brawlers clash here as we hit the mid-point of the show, as Babe Ruthless takes on Jennifer Hunter... and quite simply put, this will just be a straight-up fight to the finish. No flash, no gimmick, just two of the toughest women around going at it. We got our first look at Logan Axelrod last show when he debuted against the Phantom Thief, and absolutely wiped the floor with him, immediately making it clear that Logan is a truly impressive talent. Julian Shepard, meanwhile, seeks to get himself back on track, but against Logan, can he really hold out? The quickly-rising team of Victoria and Kelly could find themselves in contention for the Evergreen tag titles before long if they can keep up their winning ways... but Sabrina intends to halt their progress alongside the recently-debuted KyO. This one could be chaotic and intense, and Sabrina has been one of Evergreen's most surprising talents since her debut... Pure, absolute violence in its purest form. That's what this match is going to give us... Mercy Devine and Eternamente Verde are good at that, maybe even the best at it, and if this match doesn't end with both participants bloodied and worn out, it'll be a shocker. One thing's for sure, it will almost certainly be the most brutal match of the night. Closing things out, a colossal five-way battle royal for the Evergreen Championship... with four challengers who have all earned the right to face the reigning champion at some point over the past year, but never got their shots for whatever reason. It's a terrifying spread of challengers: the Invincible Elly Blackwood, the Demon, Tasharun, the living hardcore legend, Kevin Royce, and the Sole Survivor, Concrete Pete. Mercy Devine has been heard in past weeks being very firm on one thing: she is determined to get the Evergreen Championship off of Strawberry Sookie, and this may be the night it finally happens after over a year of dominance.
