It's Evergreen night this week, Thursday as usual. Gonna be the last one for March, and with the special April 1 show, it's gonna take a bit of a break, but will be back to action on the usual schedule before too long. Iris Coleman vs. Julian ShepardOakland's Most Metal (Sayaka and Rebecca) vs. The Sheridan BrothersAndrea "Fire" Hawke vs. Veronika ArmstrongPenelope Lea vs. Eternamente Verde Mercy Devine vs. SkidmarkConcrete Pete vs. The Phantom ThiefEddy Introspect vs. El Evergringo
Argent and the Bingo Hall Mutants vs. Kevin Royce and the Demons
The night kicks off as it has a few times lately: with Iris Coleman, the newcomer, setting her sights on a new opponent. Julian Shepard has been up and down in his Evergreen tenure, but he's often tough to beat for even the best that Evergreen has to offer. Iris will need to bring her best here, without a doubt.
Sayaka Saito has been the only member of her trio to see much success as of late... and she'll try to get that to rub off on Rebecca Andrews a little, as they once again find themselves squaring off with the annoying Sheridan Brothers. Will they be able to silence Vincent and Zack this time around?
A surprising appearance on the last Evergreen show has apparently led to a full-time deal: Andrea Hawke is now a member of Evergreen. And she'll kick off her first official night on the roster by taking on Veronika Armstrong: a difficult matchup, certainly, but a far cry from her brawl with Elly Blackwood on the last show.
With eMo frustrated over losing the Evergreen Tag Team Championships, they're not quite ready to let go yet... Penelope Lea squares off with Eternamente Verde, but stepping into the ring with Verde is taking your life into your own hands, as there's no doubt that nobody's quite as wild as Verde in all of Evergreen, save maybe Mercy Devine.
Speaking of Mercy, she's got a tough one this week as she takes on Skidmark... giving up a major size advantage that she'll likely attempt to close up with her usual brand of violence. Skidmark's been one of the tougher members of the roster, though, and if he can use his bulk to his advantage, it could be a rough night for the Evergreen boss.
Concrete Pete, fresh off of winning the biggest 4-way match perhaps ever assembled on the last Golden Touch Promotions show, now sets his eyes on... somewhat leaner competition. The Phantom Thief's Evergreen run has been... interesting, to say the least, and his speed and agility could prove the difference-maker against the big man... but can he even knock Pete down?
Eddy Introspect and El Evergringo share some... odd things in common. Both are prone to some strange moments in the ring... but there's no doubt that both are also very solid competitors, and they'll put on one hell of a show here, as Eddy tries to earn eMo a rematch against El Verde for the tag team championships.
Kevin Royce is seething after his defeat at the hands of Argent last show. His first loss in weeks, at the hands of a man he sees as an outsider. And so, he'll team up with one of the most dangerous teams Evergreen has ever known... and Argent's sworn enemies. Not to be outdone, Argent has enlisted the aid of another devastating team in the Bingo Hall Mutants... and Evergreen will see perhaps the most chaotic match in its history as six men, all of them immensely dangerous, will square off in a tornado tag match for the ages. Keep your eyes open when this one rolls around... it's going to be pure, absolute chaos, perhaps one of the most difficult matches to follow, but at the end of the night there will be no further doubts who stands tall in the end.

Evergreen goes as Evergreen tends to. Fast, violent, chaotic. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/570947583Youtube: youtu.be/RVnwM2ZvDkAQuick Results Julian Shepard def. Iris Coleman The Sheridan Brothers def. Oakland's Most Metal Veronika Armstrong def. Andrea "Fire" Hawke Eternamente Verde def. Penelope Lea Skidmark def. Mercy Devine The Phantom Thief def. Concrete Pete El Evergringo def. Eddy Introspect Kevin Royce and the Demons def. Argent and the Bingo Hall Mutants Write-ups Everything we've come to expect from an opener at this point, with Julian managing to stay a step ahead... though Iris certainly didn't go quietly. But Julian simply wouldn't be denied tonight, scoring a big win and could be on his way back into title contention soon. Your typical chaotic Evergreen tag, with the Sheridans managing to come out on top despite some seriously chaotic moments, resulting in a lot of mistakes. Zack managed to steal this one with a superkick, barely slipping away with the win. Andrea's official signing to Evergreen got off to a rocky start. Veronika Armstrong, perhaps tired of the losing streak she's been on, erupted in a big way this match, wiping Andrea out with a Mercykiller onto a discarded chair, and laid her out for the easy win. Could we be seeing the return of Veronika's true skill? Eternamente Verde was on the back foot for most of this match, struggling to get a foothold... but when things spilled outside, she fought back in a big way, eventually landing her brutal cutter and laying Penelope out in a shocking KO victory. Once again, eMo finds itself down a member... though with the slightly extended break they'll get, Penelope may not end up missing much time. Mercy couldn't get things rolling against the big man here, with Skidmark just overpowering her in every facet of the match. It was his size that proved the difference-maker, crushing Mercy with his sheer bulk with a big victory. This, perhaps, is the full potential of the Phantom Thief when he's at his best... capable of pushing the pace hard and delivering an incredible victory over tough competition. The familiar standby, his Fire Star Splash, was the big winner here... but the Change of Heart notably was absent from this match, perhaps proving unnecessary. El Evergringo is a champion, and isn't likely to let anyone forget it... certainly not one-half of the previous champions, handling Eddy Introspect fairly well as he landed a crushing diving headbutt, followed up with a standing SSP for the win. Good luck actually following how this one went... it was near-impossible to follow all the action here, but suffice to say that Kantar was the star of his team, landing a brutal chokeslam to Rampage Rage and once again proving the Demons may very well have the Mutants' number. Argent will no doubt want to continue this at a later date...

Little later than usual, but we've got Proving Ground going on schedule, as always. Sung Moon vs. Allison Avery
Titania and Christina Wagner vs. The Limbtakers
Nick MacLeod vs. Pajaro de Fuego
Reina del Tigre vs. Calista Vargas
Kyle Anderson vs. Chico Con Carne
The Golden Ambush vs. Winter Fresh
Nicole Blade vs. Amber Wright
Rey de la Carne vs. Akira Ryusaki for the Top Prospect Championship We kick things off this week with Sung Moon looking to start gaining momentum once again... but against the Lariat Queen of Little Rock, what chance is there that anyone could start a streak? Allison Avery has developed a vicious habit of taking her opponents down in swift, brutal fashion... and Moon will have to be on her guard to keep from being just another victim on the pile. There can be no doubt any longer... after their win over the Muscle Machines, Titania and Christina Wagner might just be the fiercest team in Proving Ground after only a single match. Still, one match doesn't always represent what one can do... and the Limbtakers will aim to bring down the powerhouse duo with their experience and technique. Nick MacLeod debuted in dominant fashion last Proving Ground, taking down Hugo Dirksen. This time, he'll face a much different sort of opponent in Pajaro de Fuego, who's gained a reputation for quick victories in his Proving Ground run. The question now... is the young Scot ready for the Lucha Phoenix? Reina del Tigre returns to action this week, and much to her benefit, she won't be taking on one of the resident powerhouses... instead, matching speed and agility with Brazil's Calista Vargas. Calista's put together a solid run so far since her Academy graduation, but to this day we have yet to see her go all-out... Chico Con Carne has found himself perhaps somewhat in the shadow of his brother as of late, with Rey de la Carne having more success, but Chico's looking to turn those fortunes around against the former Top Prospect, Kyle Anderson. But Kyle's not likely to go quietly... still seething from losing his title to Akira Ryusaki, this one could turn ugly fast. The reigning tag team champions have a test this week, facing off with a team every bit as fast and agile as they are. Winter Fresh, coming off of an impressive win over the Excellent Blades, now find themselves perhaps looking to reach the top of the heap... and with Fresh Suzuki having earned a shot at the Inspire Championship in the near future as well, could Winter Fresh be on the verge of a massive breakout? Could Proving Ground suddenly belong to Japan? Nicole Blade, still reeling somewhat from the defeat to Winter Fresh, returns to singles action as she squares off with Amber Wright, coming off of a truly impressive victory over Leona Sterling. Amber could be finding herself in the hunt for something big... and a win here would perhaps set up a 3-way match for the Inspire Championship, with Nicole, Amber and Fresh Suzuki all vying for the title. But Amber will have her work cut out for her here... There's no delay here: Rey de la Carne is getting his shot at the Top Prospect right away, and after scoring the first victory over Akira Ryusaki, he could be looking to pick up a second one... and become the first person on Proving Ground to win the Top Prospect Championship twice. History could be made this week... but Akira isn't likely to fall victim to the same tactics twice.

Proving Ground ran at a brisk pace tonight quite against my plans so we even got a bonus match this week. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/574075368Youtube: youtu.be/9_qB6eWg8ygQuick Results Allison Avery def. Sung Moon The Limbtakers def. Titania and Christina Wagner Pajaro de Fuego def. Nick MacLeod Calista Vargas def. Reina del Tigre Kyle Anderson def. Chico Con Carne The Golden Ambush def. Winter Fresh Amber Wright def. Nicole Blade Akira Ryusaki def. Rey de la Carne to retain the Top Prospect Championship SATOMI def. Katherine White and Leona Sterling in a bonus match Write-ups Right from the first move of the match, the tone was set... there may be some bad blood between these two, as Sung Moon busted Allison Avery open right out of the gate. But Allison was not to be denied this one... no matter what happened, and delivered two crushing Little Rock Bottoms to pull off an impressive comeback victory over the Korean. The Limbtakers are back. That can't be doubted after this huge win... perhaps it's only the Ambush that can stop them, but the dual powerhouses just couldn't hold out against the onslaught of submissions, with RNA eventually forcing Titania to submit to the Ruthless Armripper for a major victory. Never count Pajaro de Fuego out. The Lucha Phoenix certainly lived up to that moniker tonight, almost as if he rose from the ashes of Nick MacLeod laying waste to him for a solid 12 minutes. Fuego battled back... and managed to deliver a huge Frog Splash to pull off an incredible victory, handing the Scot his first defeat. We've been wondering for weeks just what the hell Calista Vargas has been keeping hidden up her sleeve. And tonight, we finally witnessed the young Brazilian's finisher. It did not disappoint, laying out Reina del Tigre in perhaps one of the most impressive victories that Calista's ever had. The rest of the Inspire division had better watch out... because if Calista's taken the fetters off of this move, it may be only a matter of time before she wipes out everyone in her path. Kyle Anderson might be still seething from his frustrating loss of the Top Prospect Championship... and he sure seemed to vent his frustrations on Chico Con Carne, rolling through him as though he weren't even there. Kyle's back on track, but can he fight his way back to the top? The Golden Ambush strikes again... holding absolutely nothing back on Winter Fresh, delivering perhaps one of the most vicious finishing sequences yet to Fresh Suzuki, with both Tiger and Tigress coming off the top rope to do some damage to the young woman. The Ambush still remains without a proper challenger... who can step up and hope to topple them right now? Amber Wright is on a hot streak, and then some. After wiping out Leona Sterling two weeks ago, she got this opportunity against the Inspire Champion... and she did not squander it, either, holding her own for most of the match, enduring some of Nicole Blade's most brutal offense, and delivering her Side Roll Stunner to score maybe the most shocking victory of the night. Now Nicole really has to worry... she's got two opponents to face in two weeks in defense of the Inspire Championship! Akira Ryusaki was not going to be caught out again. Keeping an eye out for Rey's usual antics, he nevertheless did fall victim to the Carne de Especial... but refused to let it bother him, coming back and locking in a Regal Stretch to score a submission victory, and retain the Top Prospect Championship. Akira stays at the top, for now. With how quickly the show went, a bonus match was quickly drawn up... three women all looking for an opportunity. And for a long period of time, nobody was able to get the upper hand... it took Katherine landing a Kat's Cradle on Leona to finally score an elimination, only to walk into a vicious kicking combo from SATOMI, followed up with her brutal submission. SATOMI once again reminds the roster how dangerous she is... Proving Ground GM, Erica Tracy "Now... it may seem a bit early to set this up, but as you'll be well aware of, Sky's The Limit will be occurring this June... and I intend to have contenders for each of Proving Ground's three championships lined up for that show. The Inspire Championship, thus, will be having a small tournament set up to determine who will face the winner of the three-way match in two weeks... Eight women will face each other over the next four episodes of Proving Ground, the winner earning their place on the Sky's the Limit card against whoever wins between Nicole Blade, Amber Wright and Fresh Suzuki. The three women who were victorious tonight: SATOMI, Calista Vargas, and Allison Avery have all earned their place in this tournament... and joining them will be five others.
In two weeks, Proving Ground #54 will see matchups between Allison Avery and SATOMI, along with La Corsaria taking on La Relampaga. Proving Ground #55 will see Felice Santana facing Calista Vargas, and Donna Nobel facing Jessika Boom. Proving Ground #56 will see the semifinals taking place... and #57, the tournament final. At that point there will be two final shows before the big event... and we'll play that by ear when the day arrives.
A decision will be made regarding the Top Prospect Championship as well, before the week is out... I am considering a similar idea for that title, as there is no current challenger, but participants will be decided sometime soon. And as for the Golden Ambush... the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships will be no exception. A challenging team will be found, that much I can guarantee.
For now... there is plenty to look forward to for Proving Ground's future. The next three months may be some of the biggest in the show's history... so don't miss a moment."

Phoenix Rising Headquarters, March 24, 2020: 12PM"You understand the reasoning here." Firehawk's the first to speak, though it's not yet clear who he's speaking to. "I need two partners for a match with the SFG. The reigning tag team champions. Now, there are plenty of possibilities. But so many are already wrapped up in their own business..."
"If I'm being honest, I'm not sure why you didn't just come straight to us in the first place." Kellaron Sentarl comes into view, arching a brow at his father. "But you know as well as anyone that I'm willing to come along any time you ask. We weren't the inaugural Phoenix Rising tag champs for nothing. We've got history."
"But so do you and I." Victor Kintelas now steps up, glancing sidelong at Kellaron with a nod. "Proving Ground tag champs for a good few months, won the titles in the most dramatic moment Proving Ground's ever gonna see, toppled some of the biggest and baddest around... taking on the SFG seems like the logical next step. You realize, though, what you're asking... sir."
"I do know." Firehawk turns his attention to Victor... folds his arms, looks the young man over. "Teaming with Kellaron... of course. If you told me a few years ago that I'd come to a member of the Kintelas family for help, though, I'd call it crazy. But here you are. You earned Kellaron's trust, and now... I'd say you've got mine."
"Means a lot to hear that. But that's not so much the point of what I'm asking." Victor steps forward. "You're asking me to step into the ring with the SFG, and I know damn well what that means. It means stepping into the ring on the opposite side of my own sister. And honestly... as dysfunctional as my family tends to be, things are different when it comes to Lae and me. Now... don't misunderstand me here. I don't care for the idea of facing her out there. But at the same time... she's got something I want for myself. She's a part of the reigning Tag Team Champions. And you'd better damn well believe that the two of us want those titles for our own."
"So we're not gonna hesitate. We'll work with you out there, dad. We'll make this happen. If we pull this thing off and get a shot at those titles... hell, you better believe we're gonna hang around Showdown going forward." Kellaron holds a hand out. "So... Monday night, we show 'em. We're gonna tear the house down."
Victor and Firehawk both hold their hands out along with Kellaron... the trio sharing a look, before the younger men nod and take their leave. Firehawk's left alone in the room after a few moments.
"No matter how this goes down... maybe it's about time a few things were settled once and for all." Anna Bryant vs. Listalva Anne HeywardCassandra Marshall vs. Telan KintelasHaruka Matsura vs. Rachel WhiteThe Sentarl Sisters vs. Pure GoldNatasha Clover vs. Michelle RochefortShiana Sentarl vs. Rilantha De NavMinoru Hoshino vs. Todd Colton for the Pacific Northwest ChampionshipFirehawk Sentarl and The GOAT vs. The SFGWe kick this week's show off with Anna Bryant setting her sights high... with a somewhat-slumping Queen Anne looking to change her fortunes. Anna, meanwhile, could get a major boost from a victory here... but can she pull it off against the always-dangerous Listalva? It's never clear what might happen where Queen Anne is concerned... Cassandra Marshall is gunning for the Pacific Northwest Championship once again, but she's got something of a long road to travel to get there. Telan Kintelas stands in her way... on a small hot-streak lately, he's prepared to wipe out anyone who thinks they can leapfrog him in the rankings, but if anyone can pull that off, it's Cassandra. Rachel White, trying to bounce back from a disappointing loss to her old rival, Natasha Clover, squares off with Haruka Matsura this week... and the question now seems to be whether Rachel's victory a few weeks ago was a fluke, or if she can truly handle the dangerous ninja of the Malevolent Triad. Eri and Kaelara Sentarl want answers. With their business against Les Beautes Blondes concluded in victory, they now seek to get an explanation from their mother, Shiana, as to just what's gotten into her... but Shiana's not likely to speak up, it seems, unless the sisters can hold their own against a team practically twice their size in Pure Gold. Can Eri's speed and Kaelara's technique carry them through against the raw power that Pure Gold possesses? Natasha Clover seems to have her eyes on holding gold once again... and she might just be willing to face off against her boyfriend to do it, too. But first, she'll square off with Michelle Rochefort, who seems determined to claim singles gold for herself... but whose ambition burns stronger? Shiana Sentarl makes her return to the ring after falling short against the Dragon in pursuit of the World Championship... the Queen of Phoenix Rising seems unwilling to give up on that goal, but Rilantha De Nav, a longtime friend, is just as determined to get answers from her as the rest of the Sentarl family appears to be. Still, Shiana's been dangerous... unpredictable as of late, and there's no telling what she might do to fight her way back into title contention. Last Showdown, we had a big-time showcase match that saw Tsaoring Chou from UBL taking on Minoru Hoshino from ZIP Japan. Hoshino scored the victory in that match, and Phoenix Rising made the decision to give him a title match this week... against Todd Colton. And this could be one of the toughest tests that Todd's ever seen in his young career. When you step into the ring with someone who's made their name in ZIP Japan, you know you're in for a tough night... but no doubt, Todd will be looking forward to this one. You read that right: Proving Ground mainstays, Kellaron Sentarl and Victor Kintelas, have come to Showdown to join Firehawk Sentarl against the reigning Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions... and the World Champion, as well. With Firehawk set to take on the Black Dragon for the World Championship sooner rather than later, the GOAT could also find themselves looking at a tag title shot against the SFG if they can pull off a win here in trios action... but the SFG has taken down everyone in their path thus far. How will the night end? Shiana Sentarl"Over the past couple of months I keep hearing everyone... fans and the rest of the roster alike wondering just what happened to me. What changed, they ask? How did it all come to this? You'll get your answers, soon enough, but now's not the time. It all depends on what my two girls can do. If Eri and Kaelara want to know so very badly why I've decided to take this path, they'll have to show me they deserve it. And to do that... they'll have to face my chosen guard, the two that hold their loyalty towards me without question. Pure Gold could just as easily be known as the Queen's Guard, if I chose... but the day is approaching fast when 'Gold' will be the best description for them, as I have no doubts that they'll handle my daughters... and then, Kanjirin and Mallory will be free to turn their attention towards the tag team championships. The titles that should have been theirs by right from the start. But now, with my guidance... nothing will stand in their way.
You'll get your answers, one way or another. But you may have to wait longer than you want, if you can't show me you're worthy." Todd Colton"Right, so here's the deal... figured that the next in line was gonna be one Anari Lynn Heyward. Nice girl, bit, er... let's just leave it at 'big', why not... probably gonna do more than her so-called 'Queen' of a sister, anyway... but see, that's not happening this week, 'cause the guys in charge decided they wanted to give the ZIP guy a run. So, lemme back it up a bit.
Minoru Hoshino, huh? I hear people call ya' 'Mr. 450' sometimes since you're always going up there and hitting them time and time again. Well, you're not gonna get quite the style matchup you'd usually get. You show up for this match and you know one thing's gonna happen: win or lose, you're goin' home sore. Shoulder, elbow, wrist, the whole damn arm, I'll make sure you feel it all week. And that's just half the story. See, you're coming for my title. This belt, right here, is mine, and it's gonna stay mine no matter who comes at me, no matter where they come from, no matter whether they're from here in Phoenix Rising, or across the Pacific, or over on the other side of the country, it doesn't matter who you are.
You're stepping into the ring with Todd Colton, the Pacific Northwest Champion... and right now? Y'know how many people over the years have said this... but to hell with every single one of 'em, it belongs to me now... I am THE BEST IN THE WORLD right now, and I DARE you to prove me wrong."

This was one hell of a night: with a wild brawl, a couple of brutal squashes, one of the finest comeback performances from a tag team that we've likely ever witnessed, and a truly chaotic trios match. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/579589980Youtube: youtu.be/cr7fbV3c3usQuick Results Anna Bryant def. Listalva Anne Heyward Telan Kintelas def. Cassandra Marshall Haruka Matsura def. Rachel White The Sentarl Sisters def. Pure Gold Natasha Clover def. Michelle Rochefort Shiana Sentarl def. Rilantha De Nav Minoru Hoshino def. Todd Colton to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Champion The SFG def. Firehawk Sentarl and the GOAT Write-ups The slump of Queen Anne just seems to be continuing as of late, a serious struggle that now sees her falling to the young Anna Bryant. While this one was a quick, technical showing, Anna clearly gained the upper hand and never really let up, picking up an important win. Cassandra looked like she might have something against Telan, but it didn't take long for the powerhouse to turn up the pressure, and absolutely wiped her out with a brutal powerbomb. A rough night for Cassandra, but Telan will certainly be happy with a dominant victory. Early candidate for match of the night, Rachel and Haruka absolutely tore into each other throughout this one, brawling on the outside, throwing everything in their arsenals at each other. But Haruka finally gained the upper hand... finally managing to lock in a brutal King Cobra Hold, and forcing Rachel to finally give in. This was the proper match of the night, without the shadow of a doubt. It was certainly a tale of two halves here: the sisters were in deep trouble early on, the raw power of Pure Gold steadily wearing them down, and it looked like they'd crumple early. And then, it seemed like both Eri and Kae found further reserves, somewhere deep... and the comeback began. And although Pure Gold never let up in their brutal attack, the sisters never wavered... and a Pumphandle Driver from Kae at just the right moment gave them the victory, a stunning upset, and one that'll surely resonate with Shiana. Natasha Clover simply will not be denied what she believes is hers by right. She's been on a roll... despite losing the Pacific Northwest Championship some time ago, she's fought her way towards the top, and even after trading some seriously huge moves with Michelle Rochefort, Natasha landed a crushing spear and once again came away with a victory. This was easily the most technical match of the night. Despite Shiana dipping into more underhanded tactics as the match went on, these two went hold-for-hold, counter-for-counter, never letting up in their pace... but Shiana once again proved she was the better of the two, landing a Slingblade and managing to pick up the victory. This could be a first. The first guest wrestler (not an invited roster member) to challenge... and win... a Phoenix Rising Championship. Hoshino ensures that he'll be sticking around for at least one more show... likely more, if this match is any indication, he'll be tough to beat and claim the Pacific Northwest Championship from. Todd's reign comes to an end, but not for lack of trying in this final defense. We all knew this match would eventually break out into pure chaos, and it did exactly that near the end, with everyone landing some big-time moves all around the ring. Victor showed tremendous strength by performing Urani's own Whitemist Bomb on the Titan herself, but the Dragon would eventually trap Kellaron in a crushing bearhug and come away with the win for her trio. Promo work to come later when I'm more focused on writing it. Next show takes place Wednesday night at the usual time... that's right, a show on Wednesday. April Fools is gonna be fuuuuuuuuuun.

Phoenix Rising, backstage area: one hour after the conclusion of Showdown #53Eri Sentarl appears to have come alone... meeting Shiana after the show, with Kaelara seemingly already having taken her leave, or perhaps still checking in with the medical team. Regardless, Shiana's the first to speak between the two.
"I wasn't entirely sure you had what it took. But I should've known better from the beginning. Both of you have always risen to that sort of challenge... fighting far above your station." Shiana goes quiet... glancing across to Eri, who has yet to say a word, though her eyes haven't left her mother from the moment she arrived. Finally, the Little Phoenix shifts her weight and speaks.
"You wanted us to 'impress' you. Show that we were somehow 'worthy'. You expected us to roll over and die for your handpicked guards, and instead we went out there and proved that Kae and I are closer to the top of the tag team division than they are. So I'm going to ask one more time. What happened? What's come over you? No more dodging around it, no more half-assed excuses, I'm getting my answers right here, right now."
"It all comes down to one very simple thing." Shiana lightly pushes herself off the wall. "First... that I am nowhere near ready to allow someone to take my place, or tell me that I'm no longer capable. Not you, not Kaelara, not anyone... no one is ready, and no one is -worthy- of it."
"That's a load of bullshit and you know it." Eri snaps, stepping forward with fire in her eyes. "If that was the only problem, you wouldn't have snapped like this. Worrying about who's able to take your place? Even clinging to your spot? That doesn't explain it. You're -threatened-. And it's never been about me or Kae, it's never been about a Sentarl at all. I know what's bothering you, and you just refuse to admit it. The one person in the best position to not just surpass you, but Dragon, and everyone else here."
"You should be very, very careful what you say next..." Shiana's voice quickly changes to a much colder, threatening tone.
"Or what? My own mother's going to lay me out? Try and explain that one down the line. This isn't about me, it's about Laenara Kintelas and it always has been, from the moment you two met in the Grand Ascension. That night... everything -changed-, suddenly you didn't have the backing you were used to, suddenly someone ELSE was more popular than you! It's jealousy, it's desperation... if it'd been anyone else in her spot, maybe things wouldn't be this way, but here we are. Am I close to the mark?"
"You have no idea what's going on." Shiana practically hisses out her words by this point. "She's -not- ready, she's -not- going to be the next in line... she is far from being worthy of the World Championship!"
"But when it all comes down to it... Over the past six months, both of you have faced Dragon one-on-one... And only one of you actually beat her. I know what the future holds, mom. I know what's going to happen before this year's over. So..." Eri lets out a deep breath, and that fire seems to fade out, the young woman going quiet. "I want two things. First... I'm gonna make a bet with you. My bet is that before this year's over, Laenara Kintelas is gonna hold that World Championship. She's gonna get her shot, one-on-one, and she's gonna do what she did at the Grand Ascension, and beat Dragon. Or, dad, I guess, if he manages to pull this thing off." Shiana glances over, arching a brow... Eri's gotten her attention. "Second... Before this year's over... I want you back to normal. I want this... this whole -mess- to stop. This jealousy, this... cruelty. You threw your own daughters against a team you were convinced would break us. But I'm still standing here, refusing to back down."
"I'll take your bet, Eri... but things aren't going to change. It's not that simple."
"The hell it's not. If I have to, I'll step into the ring against you again, and again, until I get it to sink in. I'm not gonna quit until things get back to the way they're supposed to be. And you know I'll win in the end, because you know me as well as anyone: I don't give up. I don't stop for anything. Once I've got something in mind... I don't quit until I've made it reality.
Think about it all. Just... think. That's all I've got. You can listen, or don't... I've done the best I can. Just don't be surprised if I finally turn my back in the end." Eri turns to leave... and Shiana watches her go, staring the young woman down until she slips out of sight.

Note for tonight: yes, there is a show tonight, no it's not Phoenix Rising, or Evergreen, or even the Blackwood Academy.
Tonight's show is presented by one Andrea "Fire" Hawke, with only one announced match: tonight's main event, Concrete Pete vs. Tomas in a Landmine Deathmatch. HOWEVER, stay tuned after the main event for a super-bonus non-canon holy shit what the hell am I doing kinda match.
Normal start time, 7:30 Pacific, it's not THAT different, just a weird night. :P
i am nearly positive that i've lost my friggin' mind for this show and i'm almost certain it's gonna be the most entertaining thing i throw out all damn year just on the basis of "lol it's that edit but NOT"

Right, that went off about as well as I could ever hope for a show to be, I'm very happy with the way it all went down. This was a lot of fun, and may become kind of an April 1 tradition going forward. (Though honestly I wanna run more Hawke shows the rest of the year, too.) Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/581188717Youtube: youtu.be/iLacYsvjUGgQuick Results Hikari Ueno def. Kiana Yamazaki Luci and Chasity (eMo) def. The Yoshida Twins HAYATO def. Sanya Markov Kylie Anderson def. Kaede Takeda Candace Monroe def. Leona Sterling in a shoot-match Gabriela and Rafael Gallego (The Mexican Jaguars) def. Arthur and Amber Wright Tomiko Takeda def. Andrea "Fire" Hawke Tomas def. Concrete Pete
and non-canon but relevant anyway: Chris Jericho def. Todd Colton Write-ups First thing we noticed tonight: Evergreen graciously allowed the show to use their ring for the night. Kevin Royce called a fair few of the matches himself, as a result. Second thing we noticed: Kiana, being a dead ringer for her counterpart Mercy Devine, is surreal to watch inside of an Evergreen ring with her surprisingly technical ability. But it wasn't her story tonight: it was the debuting Hikari Ueno, who dazzled the fans with her own skills, locking in quick submissions, landing a vicious Package Piledriver at one point, and ultimately stealing the victory with a flash roll-up out of nowhere. We may be seeing more of Ueno in the future. It was the debut of Chasity in the Evergreen ring, a face we'll surely be seeing more of soon enough. The Yoshida Twins, fresh off of defending their tag team titles over the weekend, put up a tough fight against the eMo duo, but Shiori fell victim to Luci's grasp, and the twins took a rare defeat. Another pair of debuts here, as Sanya Markov stepped into the ring with HAYATO... no guesses for who HAYATO's related to. Sanya was dominant through the first part of this match, even busting HAYATO open relatively early and making it tough for the young man to fight back... but fight back he did, in familiar fashion, roaring back into the match and eventually forcing Sanya to tap out to the familiar Nagata Lock III. Kylie Anderson shares a lot in common with her counterpart Kyle, but that can only mean good things for her, evoking such a powerhouse of Proving Ground. Kaede, normally one of the tougher women around, just couldn't keep up with the brute force that Kylie brought to the table, and a pair of brutal German suplexes took her out of the match for good. Three rounds... that was all these two were allotted. And they had to use nearly all of that time. Candace and Leona are no strangers to fighting each other... Leona being the woman who put an early end to Candace's MMA career (at least before she took up shoot-style again in UCSS), but Candace has been looking for revenge ever since. She finally got the chance, and she didn't squander it... after two full rounds of trading submissions and looking for the finishing stroke, Candace finally got her moment late in the third and final round... trapping Leona in a brutal kneebreaker, and forcing the Scot to tap out on the spot, finally avenging that loss from so long ago. The two biggest stories out of this match: Amber Wright has a brother, and the Gallego Twins are a seriously dynamic pair, bringing some brilliant lucha tactics to the ring. As good as Arthur looked in this match, the Gallegos (who the crowd would eventually dub the Mexican Jaguars thanks to their attires) were just that much better... and after Rafael hit the Three Amigos and a standing moonsault, that was all she wrote. Don't assume that Tomiko Takeda is on the same level as Telan Kintelas... she may be at a much, much higher point. Tomiko was a monster in this match, and not even Hawke grabbing a chair in the hopes of evening the odds helped her get back into the match, eventually getting put down by Judgment and giving Tomiko one of the most impressive victories of the night. This was perhaps one of the most violent, brutal, and brief confrontations ever seen in an Evergreen ring. Within the first three minutes, light tubes had been shattered, Pete had been thrown into the explosives on the outside, and both men were bloodied... and after getting thrown out of the ring a second time, Pete simply couldn't keep things going after Tomas planted him with a huge slam. This was short, but it was nasty... and hardly a disappointment to cap off the night. OK, OK, technically it didn't cap off the night, this did, but seriously, this is totally not canon and was run just as a fun thing to tie into a conversation from the other night, and Todd's Best In The World declaration. Good match, though. Fun stuff. Complete with the full AEW setup. you will probably never see another real-world edit on the stream again tbh This show was kinda weird but man, it was fun. There's really not much else to say about it. No promos to write up, I think, I'm just gonna let it stand for itself. We're back to normal on Monday, I'll get a Proving Ground card posted sometime tomorrow.

Proving Ground coming up once again on Monday as we get things back to normal, with the beginnings of two major #1 contender's tournaments: the prize at the end, a shot at the division's top title at the quickly-approaching Sky's The Limit. Titania vs. Candace Monroe, Inspire #1 Contender's Tournament Round of 16
Kellaron Sentarl vs. Avery Adonis Alexander, Top Prospect #1 Contender's Tournament Quarterfinal
Allison Avery vs. SATOMI, Inspire #1 Contender's Tournament Round of 16
Adrenaline Rush vs. The Golden Ambush
La Corsaria vs. La Relampaga, Inspire #1 Contender's Tournament Round of 16
Nick MacLeod vs. Hugo Dirksen, Top Prospect #1 Contender's Tournament Quarterfinal
Christina Wagner vs. Sung Moon, Inspire #1 Contender's Tournament Round of 16
Fresh Suzuki vs. Amber Wright vs. Nicole Blade for the Inspire Championship We're kicking off big with an Inspire Championship contender's tournament, the very same night that the 3-way match for the title is held. Candace Monroe steps up to take on perhaps one of the toughest matches of her singles career, seeking to topple the beast that is Titania and perhaps secure a shot at the Inspire Championship... a goal that's been in the back of her mind for some time, and now maybe comes to the forefront in the wake of the Limbtakers no longer being tag champions. But this won't be easy... Titania's a devastating force, without a doubt. Kellaron Sentarl has one final stated goal on Proving Ground, a final attempt before he considers moving to Showdown. He wants to become Top Prospect before even considering leaving the show... this 8-man tournament will be maybe the last real chance he gets to pull it off. Standing in his way, one-half of the Muscle Machines, Avery Adonis Alexander... Kellaron will absolutely have to step his game up to realize his goal. Allison Avery has often cut a pure path of destruction through any opponent she faces off with... but even the Lariat Queen of Little Rock is gonna have trouble with this one. SATOMI wants her spot at the top once again, and she'll be determined to charge through the bracket, with her sights set on the title she lost some time ago... The sole match with nothing to do with any championship... although it could, if Adrenaline Rush can pull off the seemingly impossible. The Golden Ambush have looked nigh-invincible as champions, though, and it's an uphill battle, without a doubt, if Adrenaline Rush want to get a shot at the titles. This is going to be high-speed, high-impact, and you may not want to blink for fear of missing the action... two incredibly talented luchadoras set to clash for the first time. Corsaria, although hailing from Scotland, is no less talented and agile than her Mexican opponent, but one thing's for certain... this could steal the show. Nick MacLeod has been wildly impressive thus far, and he's got his eyes on making an impact early as he squares off with Hugo Dirksen. It's a matter of technique against raw, brutal power, and Nick could make a huge statement with a win here. Sung Moon faces off against a pure powerhouse here... Christina Wagner looks to crush the young Korean, but Sung has been a surprise at times, a supremely talented young woman that can overcome some major odds. Still, Christina's been making quite the splash lately... and if all falls a certain way, we could see a truly brutal clash between tag partners between Titania and Christina... Finally, we cap off the night with the Inspire Championship on the line. Fresh Suzuki earned her attempt with a victory over the Excellent Blades in which she pinned champion Nicole Blade... and Amber Wright, for her part, scored a one-on-one victory against Nicole on last week's Proving Ground. Now Nicole faces a tough test of her reign... can she defeat the two women who have pinned her over the last few weeks?

Brisk pace for the first night of tournament action here on Proving Ground. Nobody let up for a second... and we had a few surprises. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/585371555Youtube: youtu.be/SblYZQPMJ5sQuick Results Candace Monroe def. Titania Kellaron Sentarl def. Avery Adonis Alexander Allison Avery def. SATOMI The Golden Ambush def. Adrenaline Rush La Relampaga def. La Corsaria Hugo Dirksen def. Nick MacLeod Sung Moon def. Christina Wagner Amber Wright def. Fresh Suzuki and Nicole Blade to become the NEW Inspire Champion Gary Gear def. Sanya Markov in a bonus match Write-ups The night kicked off with a stunning upset. Candace Monroe was on a mission tonight, and she didn't let up on Titania for a second, enduring the powerful offense thrown her way and landing a pair of Gotch-style piledrivers to pick up a stunning victory. If Candace keeps up this momentum, we could see her challenging for the Inspire Championship before long. Likely one of the most purely competitive matches of the night, AAA was determined to knock out an early favorite in the first round... but it wasn't to be. Kellaron just wouldn't let up, going for the crossface whenever he had the opportunity, and finally got AAA to tap out and advance to the semifinal. Allison Avery was in no mood for competition tonight. While SATOMI started to get herself into the match, Allison was quick to shut her down with no less than THREE Little Rock Bottoms back-to-back... and that would take the fight out of anyone, even the star that is SATOMI. Once again, the tag champions look completely insurmountable... wiping out yet another team during their reign at the top. Adrenaline Rush just couldn't keep up, though it wasn't for lack of trying: Nic Nitro was at the top of his game, but Golden Tiger just wasn't going to let things end unless it was in the favor of the Ambush. This match did not disappoint from the expected dynamic, high-octane action. Relampaga was absolutely relentless, but Corsaria delivered a lot of offense for her own part... multiple Shining Axe Kicks delivered to Relampaga. But the Lightning Luchadora just would not stop... and a Superstar Elbow in the center of the ring would prove the final blow. This was Nick's power against Hugo's technique... and Hugo proved the better here, constantly locking in the Cattle Mutilation, and weathering the brutal backbreakers that Nick threw out. But it was a quick counter roll-up that scored the victory for the Dutchman... and now, he moves to face Kellaron Sentarl in the next round. Another major upset, in some eyes... Sung Moon was definitely coming in with a size disadvantage, and a major gap in strength. But she would not quit... no matter what Christina threw at her, even interrupting the Spinaroonie (much to the disgust of the crowd. Or maybe just me.) Finally, she managed to set up the Hangover leg drop, and Sung Moon eliminates the other major powerhouse of the tournament. Amber Wright has fought her way to the top. She fought this match as well as anyone could in a 3-way contest... when she had an opportunity to pin Nicole Blade, she knocked Fresh to the mat before taking it, eliminating the champion and ensuring that she wouldn't retain. And then, she went to work on Suzuki... cranking the young Japanese rookie into her brutal Triangle Scorpion, and claiming the Inspire Championship, a first step on her path towards living up to the legacy that Winifred Wright has left her. With the show having gone so quickly, an extra match was quickly thrown together: with Sanya Markov already set to join Proving Ground in the near future anyway, he got a chance to debut here, against Gary Gear... and Gear didn't seem to take kindly to the Russian newcomer, absolutely blowing through him in typical Gear fashion. Academy house show to be posted Saturday, Showdown on Monday. I'll have a Showdown card posted tomorrow, hopefully.

Showdown this week is gonna be a big one. With a World Championship match signed, the Pacific Northwest Championship on the line as always, and after last week's stunning tag team upset... all three main titles will be up for grabs on Monday night. Layla Al-Amin vs. Listalva Anne Heyward
Todd Colton vs. Markos Andreas
Selisha vs. Rachel White
Pure Gold vs. The Wild West
Sophia Moretti vs. Natasha Clover vs. Michelle Rochefort
Anari Lynn Heyward vs. Minoru Hoshino for the Pacific Northwest Championship
The Sentarl Sisters vs. The SFG for the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships
Firehawk Sentarl vs. The Black Dragon for the Phoenix Rising World Championship The night kicks off with Queen Anne trying to pull herself out of a brutal losing streak, having dropped matches to what seems like half the Pacific Northwest division by now. The Cairo Cyclone, however, won't be easy to bring down... and Listalva could find herself struggling once again as Layla Al-Amin brings her wild, fast-paced offense into play. Todd Colton may have lost the Pacific Northwest Championship, but he doesn't seem bothered as much as you might expect... rather, he's set his sights even higher, instead. This could be a test run for a potential attempt to move to the World Championship division... something Markos Andreas will surely be aiming to prevent by crushing the brash young star. Rachel White has continued to see her career waver between rising and falling, but as of late she's been back on the "falling" side of things, and Selisha may not make matters any easier. Still, Rachel's been known to be quite the dangerous opponent when she's firing on all cylinders, and Selisha can't simply look past this match. Pure Gold, coming off of what's perhaps the most shocking defeat of their careers, now turns their attention to even more dangerous fare, as they square off with the brother-sister duo that is the Wild West. Lance and Cassandra Marshall have more than proven themselves as a team, and this could be a serious test for Pure Gold... and no doubt, Shiana Sentarl will be watching them closely this time. This three-way contest comes about as a result of something interesting: Eri Sentarl would be next in line for a shot at the Pacific Northwest Championship after this show, but she's opted to delay her opportunity while she makes a run in the tag team division alongside Kaelara. The next three challengers in line behind her, then, will step up and square off to see who will take on the champion at Showdown #55... But who will that champion be? Minoru Hoshino stunned the world last week when he became the first guest wrestler to capture a Phoenix Rising championship, the ZIP Japan star ending the reign of Todd Colton and hanging around somewhat longer than most expected him to. But as long as he keeps winning and holding on to the title, he'll remain on the shows... Anari Lynn Heyward, meanwhile, will seek to topple him in his first defense. Eri and Kaelara were granted this opportunity after their incredible victory over Pure Gold last week, but this one isn't going to be easy: the SFG remain one of the most purely dominant groups in all of Phoenix Rising, and even without the Dragon taking part in this match, it's still going to be a tall order. Urani Whitemist and Laenara Kintelas will absolutely be looking to send the Sentarl sisters packing, and hold on to the tag titles without hesitation. Finally, we cap off the night with a long-awaited faceoff between Firehawk Sentarl and the Black Dragon. It's said that no matter how this match goes, it could change the entire face of Phoenix Rising... if Firehawk can capture the title, it'll be his first run at the top since the company opened its doors, but if the Dragon wins, it'll continue a nearly year-and-a-half reign of complete invincibility: Dragon hasn't even taken a defeat herself since October's Grand Ascension! Furthermore, it appears that some secrets may finally begin to come to light in the wake of this match... but there's no telling what might be revealed.

What a freakin' show, man. Some days I just get a good feeling. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/591573033Youtube: youtu.be/2ONn4o5IhYYQuick Results Layla Al-Amin def. Listalva Anne Heyward Todd Colton def. Markos Andreas Rachel White def. Selisha The Wild West def. Pure Gold Natasha Clover def. Sophia Moretti and Michelle Rochefort Anari Lynn Heyward def. Minoru Hoshino to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Champion The SFG def. The Sentarl Sisters to retain the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships The Black Dragon def. Firehawk Sentarl to retain the Phoenix Rising World Championship Write-ups Queen Anne's slump continues, with the Cairo Cyclone absolutely outpacing her from the opening bell. Layla was on fire here, never letting up for a second, and Listalva continues to struggle finding any momentum... and can't even fall back on her usual plans, with both of her usual tag partners otherwise preoccupied. By all rights, Markos Andreas should've had this match in the bag early on. He was coming out well ahead of Todd, pounding him into the mat every chance he got... and Todd just kept getting back up. Finally, Markos's temper seemed to erupt, and rather than going for a finish, he kept pounding away at him on the mat... only for Todd to come back with his signature Binding Suplex to pick up a stunning victory, a huge comeback without a doubt. Once again, Rachel White pulls herself out of a nosedive, and scores a huge upset victory. This time, Selisha would be the victim... Rachel perhaps knowing exactly how dangerous she is, and didn't let her get off any of her most dangerous moves, culminating in landing a huge Moonstomp from the top rope and standing tall for the first time in a good while. Much to Shiana Sentarl's chagrin, once again Pure Gold struggled to take down their opponents... and it cost them dearly in the end, with Lance Marshall isolating Mallory Spaulding in the Wild West's corner, landing a crushing lariat, and picking up an impressive victory. No doubt Mallory and Kanjirin will be getting an earful... Natasha Clover clearly still sees the Pacific Northwest Championship as her title... and she wants it back. Sophia Moretti managed to take out Michelle Rochefort with Eternal Night, forcing a submission, but Natasha came roaring at her almost immediately with her usual strikes, and eventually laid out the Italian with a sharp combo to pick up the win and the Pacific Northwest Championship match next Showdown. As for who Natasha will be facing? Much to the shock of the crowd, it'll be Anari Lynn Heyward, who despite having a difficult time keeping up with Hoshino's speed and agility, managed to bring her strength to bear and finally landed a crushing powerbomb to pick up the victory, and her first championship gold. But how long can Anari hang on to that title with Natasha on the horizon? The plan was sound, the execution moreso... but it was one single mistake that cost the Sentarl sisters this match and the titles. Much like their match with Pure Gold, Eri and Kaelara were fighting from behind for most of this one, with Eri looking like an absolutely unstoppable force... but it was Kaelara that made the fatal mistake of trying to go up top, in a rare display of bravado, and missed her dive onto Laenara, allowing Lae to hit a moonsault immediately after and defending the tag titles once again. It all came down to this one. Another challenger stepped up to face the Black Dragon, and another challenger fell in defeat. Firehawk once again fails to capture the World Championship, and the Dragon's reign continues at 532 days... and counting. Who on earth can stop her in a Phoenix Rising ring? It's starting to feel like nobody can stop her when the title is at stake... The Black Dragon "Nothing else needs to be said. Another challenger stood up to test themselves. And another challenger went down in flames. Firehawk, you knew from the very beginning that you weren't up to this... there is no one, and I do mean NO ONE, part of our generation that can claim to be better than I am. Twenty-five years of absolute dominance... and nobody can claim anything more. I'm taking next Showdown off... you can all fight over who gets to be next in line, but you know damn well what the outcome will be. Just look at the trail of destruction left in my wake.
Before you think you've got what it takes... look back at them, and ask yourself one more time."

We've got Evergreen coming up this week, and it's... a big one. A real big one. Iris Coleman vs. Andrea "Fire" Hawke
Babe Ruthless vs. Rebecca Andrews
eMo (Luci/Chasity) vs. The Sheridan Brothers
Julian Shepard vs. Veronika Armstrong
Tomiko Takeda vs. Elly Blackwood
Ash Defiant vs. Sayaka Saito
Concrete Pete and Skidmark vs. The Bingo Hall Mutants
Argent vs. Kantar
Mercy Devine vs. The Phantom Thief vs. Tasharun vs. Kevin Royce
eMo (Eddy Introspect and Strawberry Sookie) vs. El Verde Things kick off this week with some newcomers to the fold, as Iris Coleman takes on Andrea Hawke. Hawke hasn't fared so well in the Evergreen environment, but she'll be aiming to turn things around against the rookie... but the Wrecking Ball isn't one to simply roll over for anyone. Rebecca Andrews will be the first of the Oakland metal crew to step into the ring this week, standing across from Babe Ruthless. Both are looking to raise their stock here in Evergreen, but this one's gonna be tough to call... both almost certainly even and ready to fight it out. The first eMo tag match of the night will be the proper Evergreen debut of Chasity, after she made her first appearance on Andrea Hawke's April 1 show earlier this month. But now, she joins Luci for a shot at the Sheridan brothers... and no doubt this pair will make Vincent and Zack regret ever laying eyes on them. There's a lot of rumors floating around about a major tournament coming up later this year: a representative from among Phoenix Rising, Evergreen, and its related feds for each of the 50 states in the US. And while there are multiple wrestlers in the organization hailing from California, it seems that these two are the most favored to get that spot: and thus, this match between Julian and Veronika is for more than just a victory, but a place in that tournament. (It's coming late summer. August, probably.) Here's a surprise: Tomiko Takeda got a call for this show, perhaps a favor called in by Andrea Hawke, perhaps simply wanting to step into Evergreen and see what it's all about, but either way, she'll be squaring off with the Invincible Elly Blackwood, and that's a tall order no matter who you might be... Ash Defiant has always impressed, no matter who she might be facing in Evergreen, and this week, she's looking to keep that train rolling against Sayaka Saito, the last of the Oakland crew on the card. Sayaka's been the best in singles competition of the trio, but against Ash, victory is never guaranteed. The sheer amount of BULK in this match would give anyone pause... even after the Big Boy Bash some weeks ago. Concrete Pete finally teams up with Skidmark to take on the Bingo Hall Mutants... and if this team's successful, it might not be the last time we see it happen. Argent's been waiting for this moment from the day he walked into Evergreen. His target's always been clear: he's after the Demons, and he'll start with Kantar this week, this time without anyone to stand in the way. Still, Kantar's been an absolute monster in Evergreen... can Argent hope to overcome that? A 4-way contest that could have a lot riding on it: Kevin Royce remains the likely contender for the Evergreen Championship, but he'll now have to get through these three to make absolutely sure he can keep that spot. Mercy Devine no doubt would love a second shot at Sookie after failing to capture the title, Tasharun could easily wipe out the entire field on his own... but who knows what the Phantom Thief might do here? This one's completely unpredictable... And finally, a tornado tag main event that could set the future of the Evergreen tag division. With Penelope Lea out of action, Sookie will step in alongside Eddy Introspect in search of vengeance against El Verde: both for taking the Evergreen Tag Team Championships, and for the aforementioned Penelope injury. Still, El Verde have been easily one of the best teams Evergreen's got... how far can eMo take this?

Evergreen lived up to its usual reputation with this one, going absolutely bonkers throughout pretty much the whole night. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/594281025Youtube: youtu.be/xJsmY56rCmQQuick Results Andrea "Fire" Hawke def. Iris Coleman Rebecca Andrews def. Babe Ruthless eMo (Chasity/Luci) def. The Sheridan Brothers Julian Shepard def. Veronika Armstrong Elly Blackwood def. Tomiko Takeda Ash Defiant def. Sayaka Saito The Bingo Hall Mutants def. Concrete Pete and Skidmark Argent def. Kantar The Phantom Thief def. Mercy Devine, Tasharun and Kevin Royce eMo (Sookie/Eddy) def. El Verde Write-ups This was the match Andrea's been waiting to have since her arrival in Evergreen, finally picking up a much-needed win over Iris Coleman as she came after the rookie with nothing but a relentless offense, ultimately making her tap to the Anaconda Vice and making sure she's able to stand tall. Rebecca Andrews got herself quite the victory here as well, never letting up on Babe for a second, never letting her build up any momentum before she landed a crushing Meteora to score a hard-fought victory. eMo got off to a hot start tonight, with Chasity and Luci making their first Evergreen appearance as a team (Chasity's Evergreen debut, no less). The Sheridans did their best to hang in there with the duo, but just couldn't measure up... both brothers caught in a submission late in the match, and falling to the eMo pair. Julian hung in tough against a relentless onslaught from Veronika... getting his shots in where he could and ultimately landing a quick move to pick up a surprising upset victory... an upset because quite honestly he was getting his ass beat for 75% of this match. As tough and vicious as Tomiko Takeda is, she didn't measure up even a little bit against Elly Blackwood, who once again looked like the unstoppable, invincible monster of Evergreen with this dominant victory. Elly looks like she's back on top of the world... but who's next on the list? Three Defiant Bombs from Ash during the course of this one, the third spelling the end of the match, and Sayaka just never really seemed to get things rolling completely against her. The first candidate for Match of the Night on this show... this was absolute, pure, chaotic WAR. Early on, Pete and Skidmark looked totally outmatched... but a Cement Mixer signaled that there was still life in Pete, and from there, this one evened out considerably, with everyone getting their shots in. And while the Mutants still wound up winning this one, it proved to be much tougher than they might've expected going into the night, or indeed, even after the first half of the match. This was another potential call for Match of the Night, simply because of the sheer brutality these two displayed towards each other. But Argent was on a mission here... vengeance against a man he once called an ally, and a crushing powerbomb ensured that he'd finally gotten some measure of vengeance over Kantar. But that's only the beginning of Argent's path... Who could've seen this coming? Not only did the Phantom Thief stand tall at the end of this one, he absolutely swept the field... first a Fire Star Splash to Mercy, eliminating her, then another to Tasharun... leaving him alone in the ring with Kevin Royce, a man who shows nothing but contempt for the Thief, being an outsider to Evergreen. And even Royce fell to the Thief, locking in a brutal submission and forcing Kevin to give in. This was legendary... could the Thief find himself looking to the top soon? eMo must've been riding the wave of vengeance tonight, and while they didn't fully take it out on the one responsible for taking out Penelope Lea, they did pick up the win here thanks to Eddy (shock and surprise!) And now, eMo looks primed to reclaim the tag titles... but this time, with the Evergreen Champion taking matters into her own hands. Argent "For all intents and purposes... your part in this, Kantar, is over. I've settled my score, you've played your part. But you were never the main target... you were a glorified bodyguard standing in the way of the real test.
Tasharun, one way or another, you and I are going to put an end to this. And I could very easily challenge you on the next Evergreen, and bring it all to a close as soon as possible. But that's not how I want to go about this. It's not the right environment. It's not the right time. No, I've got something bigger in mind. And if you've got the guts to take the challenge... then you'll meet me at Sky's The Limit. You, and me... nothing else to get in our way." Mercy Devine "You all wanna go on and on about the fuckin' Phantom Thief, this guy shows up for no good reason, and now he's going around actually winning matches against the best of the best around here? You think you're gonna get away with taking ME out of that match? You and me, next Evergreen, you hear me? I'm gonna put your fuckin' lights out for good this time!"
