Hi guys without nuking my save (I manually went through mission mode, I'm not about to lose that!) how can I delete wrestlers I've got from the Steam workshop?
I tried unsubscribing to all FPW content, but when I went into game they were still there. And in game I can't see a delete option. So what's the fastest way to clean it all up?
I want to start over and be more picky about which edits to get and "tidy as I go" in terms of putting them in the right orgs / stables. I made the mistake of grabbing hundreds of edits and it was overwhelming to sort them out so I want to start anew.
Any help much appreciated, thanks!
I frigging hate the FPW interface.

While the mod is great, if you’re inexperienced installing patches and mods, that might become a tangle just to reach point B. The most direct path is to go to EDIT tab, WORKSHOP, UNINSTALL. The only issue is you can only do one at a time, so it can be laborious f you have a lot to uninstall. Carzilla’s mod lets you choose all the wrestlers, then dump collectively.

I can’t remember if the mass deletion tool unsubscribes you from the workshop... so keep in mind you may need to do that first.

once you have characters installed can you unsubscribe and they still be in your game?
curious bc i went install crazy before really learning the layout and now i need to trim down a substantial amount lol currently getting ready to use mass delete tool but wondering if i should just "unsubscribe" to all edits instead of going thru one at a time

Unsubscribing just stops them from updating. They will still be present in your save until you "uninstall" them with either the mod or one by one in game.

The tool unsubscribes you automatically.

But reading the thread on Steam, several people seem to encounter difficulties because they make an error installing the patch or where they unpack the zip. I recommend learning how to do it manually regardless, since the mods may become temporarily incompatible soon.

If you uninstall them in the game, that unsubscribes hem from workshop automatically.

Then it's just a challenge.

Honestly, the easiest way to handle "clean-up" is to create a Garbage Bin promotion and dump all your unwanted edits into it. Then, unsubscribe from all of them and start over. Manually deleting each edit through the in-game function is a huge time-sink, I don't suggest that anyone use it unless they're deleting a small number of edits. An added bonus is that when you're ready to install Carl's Mass Delete tool, you can just select the promotion and delete everything in one action.

I deleted like 400 guys after 12 properties became a thing. Use the mass delete, you'll thank yourself.
I didn't use that tool.
