Gave an edit the back grapple kiss. Whenever I hit it, she winds up using a double ax handle and then repeated stomps until the person submits.
Am I missing something?

Not a glitch. If you notice in the section where you set your wrestler's name and date of birth, there's also an option for gender. This determines if you get the kiss or the axe handle stomps.
Your options go as such: Male, Female, Male(?), Female(?)
If your edit is Male, then it'll use the kiss against Female or Female(?) edits. If the edit is Male(?), it'll use them against Male or Male(?) edits. It's a mechanic thrown in the game thanks to Danshoku Dino's inclusion in Fire Pro Returns.

It might be because she's using against the an edit with the same gender setting as her? ie female on female. try changin her gender setting to female?

Yep, the Ategai aka the Rock Punch combo in the corner that goes into a groin to face finish, and the Nightmare/Danshoku Nightmare, the move that's in face up at head where the attacker squats repeatedly over the opponent's face. Both moves revert to stomping rushes if the gender doesn't line up. I should mention that it irks me quite a bit that we don't have Male/Female (All) and (None) categories so you could get all entertainment moves to work, or have all stomping rushes if that's what you want, regardless of opponent. |

Stinks that the moves switch depending what gender you pick. Would be nice to have the kiss for both spots.

I used to take advantage of this intentionally, back in the Returns days. I used it for Randy Orton's Garvin Stomps... I guess his RL backstage reputation for being kind of a creep towards women could be invoked with it, too. :V
