Damn. Never knew that. I knew it wasnt an insane number, but I always thought it was a couple hundred thousand.
That means AgeTec only grossed $180k. Crazy.

The majority of the sales were in the US, and the EU sales were also much better than the JP sales, so yes, it's not just counting the US & EU sales, those sales made up the majority of the total. www.vgchartz.com/db/game.php?id=12743Despite the sales equaling about $180k, Spike/Agetec still actually came out with a small profit on the game when all was said and done.

I doubt that's accurate.
FPR did at least 30K in 2005, ranking 329 out of 500 on Famitsu's yearly chart.
I can't find anything for Media Create that goes back that far but they tend to skew higher.

I first bought it on PS3. Was a big deal at the time coming as a PSN game
Don't know how you'd get those stats if not off Sony. But it seemed popular at the time in wrestling circles

Returns sold next to nothing on the PS3, which was just essentially a dump of the PS2 rom.
Returns on PS2 wasn’t widely available in many regions too and only got an EU release due to finding an obscure regionalised publisher, without them it very well could have never come to EU. It never came to the PS3 store for EU markets.
Fire Pro is still a very niche series while Returns offered the series to its widest audience at the time, it wasn’t until World came along that it garnered ever more attention. Putting World on Steam was the best decision they could have done.

Keep in mind even relatively obscure games like Panekit have benefited from being on the classics line.

The publisher has an office in my town but they didn't know about Fire Pro when I started pestering them with emails.
