I'm tidying up some of my translations for Final Fire Pro, and am having some trouble with the scouts from Management of the Ring mode. I think they're named after backstage staff and managers but I'm not certain. I used a bit of poetic licence before but now I'm looking for something a bit more accurate. Here's what I've got:
Mr.クエスチョン - Mr. Question - Not sure, I've just left it as Mr. Question. ウイリー坂口 - Willy Sakaguchi - Wally Yamaguchi seemed an obvious fit. リクタ-・マッドネス - Rikuta Madness - A bit lost on this one. I thought maybe Earthquake but the only clue was the name (Rikuta/Richter?) デビル・マサ - Devil Masa - Masa Saito(?) His fake roster name is Masa Zombie so it didn't seem like a huge leap. 石見会長 - Iwami Kaicho (Chairman/President) - Shoichi Arai(?) I arrived at this conclusion a while ago but I can't remember how I linked the two. Other than being President of FMW that is.
Any help would really be appreciated, I'm going mad reading old Japanese forums!

Yamaguchi & Saito are definitively right.
Didn't they have traits? Like, this scout prefers Strong Style wrestlers and such. Could help.

I have no idea if this helps at all since they seem to be based on real people, but there is a Mr. Question from India in the old Tiger Mask manga (looks like he made it to Tiger Mask W also). Maybe an Easter egg since he's a foreigner and a scout?
I found an old NJPW article with a match listed as: Ishin Gundan (“The Devil” Masa Saito & Killer Khan) vs. The Connection (Adrian Adonis & Jesse “The Body” Ventura)
So yep! Saito is definitely right on.

Could Director Iwami be Kazuyoshi Ishii, founder of K-1?

I've got a funny feeling the instruction manual or one of the guides might shed more light one them, but in game all you get are the names and their costs a month: Iwami - 600 Devil Saito - 500 Richter Madness - 500 Wally Yamaguchi - 500 Mr. Question - 300 Rikuta Madness = Viktor Quinones? That would make far more sense that Earthquake. I have no idea if this helps at all since they seem to be based on real people, but there is a Mr. Question from India in the old Tiger Mask manga (looks like he made it to Tiger Mask W also). Sounds like a good match. I really wish I could find a bit more information on the scouts the know for sure. Has anyone got a copy of the manual or know where I could get a scan? I've seen a boxed version of the game on Amazon Japan and am very tempted to go for it, the only thing putting me off is it's £70 and my wife will lose it with me... again.

Don’t they each go to a different region? That may help.
Victor Q seems like a good choice since he had the Puerto Rico and Japan connections.

Masa Saito was a “scout” in that as well Brilliant idea! I checked it out and Masa Saito is listed as Zombie Masa in Fighting Road. I read through the guide on GameFAQs by WEWAfed and he has a character listed as "101. ??? (Man W/T-Shirt {From K-1??})", which definitely supports sofia 's idea of Kazuyoshi Ishii. I've ordered the boxed copy with instructions, hopefully it contains all the answers but probably not.
