Watching wrestling is great when a match is hitting all the right spots for your taste. When it does not, it can be a complete waste of your time that you could have used to watch much better matches.
So why not share the last match you watched (whatever the era) and that just got you into it to add to the "towatch" list of everyone else ? Watched today Genichiro Tenryu / Toshiaki Kawada vs. Stan Hansen / Terry Gordy from AJPW Real World Tag League 1988
And what a fantastic tag match it was both tag team members had their time to shine, lot of the usual puro fighting spirit and fantastic selling on every offenses from both side.
Poor referee wasn't able to assert his authority in any ways considering how much illegal assists the match was littered with from both side of the ring :D Definitively a recommended watch, one of the best tag match ever.

Not the last match I watched, but the title match between Volador Jr. and Matt Taven on last night's CMLL show was absolutely bonkers.
Video link takes you straight to the timestamp.
Old Man Tirantes is a gift.

Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong) vs. Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan, opening match of NXT Takeover Chicago II and it was an absolute "barn-burner" as they say. Unexpectedly good match to start a show.

Hangman Page vs Minoru Suzuki at G1 Climax 28. Page showed some courage by attacking both Suzuki and El Desperado with full force!
And let's not forget about Kenny Omega vs Tomohiro Ishii the night before. Talk about a champion (THE Champion mind you) getting humbled in such a brutal fashion that makes you believe that Ishii is the strongest in CHAOS.

Unexpectedly good match to start a show. Was just thinking of an Undisputed Era match I saw earlier today, vs. Tyler Bate and Trent Seven (from NXT TV, not the one from England.) What I dug about this match was, about halfway through, they really start in on Trent Seven's knee. And boy, from there on out it becomes all old-school "can the babyface survive and come back" storytelling. All the slick little back-and-forth, the "spots" per se, are out the window, and it becomes all about "how can he possibly survive this?" Especially with Kyle O'Reilly laying on the submission work. I dig that guy's stuff so much.

Those guys really threw it back to old-school formulas and played it perfectly. It felt like PPV Main Event level hype for pretty much the entire last half of the match. The more I see of Undisputed Era and Moustache Mountain, the more i love those guys and their work in the ring.

Not a match per se but my last recommendation was to a friend who fell behind on the G1 and I recommended he watch everything involving Ishii, Ibushi and Omega unless they are against Tama Tonga.

I dig that guy's stuff so much. This was one of my favorite finishes of the year so far The only part of the finish I questioned was the fact Tyler Tate threw in the towel after watching his partner endure submission after submission, and then one really long submission at the end. But in any other tag match, Trent Sevens partner would just enter the ring to break-up the hold and then leave before the ref's 5 count or whatever. Seemed weird that Tyler just stood in terror watching Trent have his knee torn apart without jumping through the ropes to help him, instead he stood their milking the idea of throwing in the towel. I mean, I get it, it was some intense and entertaining old-school story-telling, but I couldn't help but think "why doesn't tyler just jump in and break the hold rather than throw in the towel and lose?" Either way, great match and great finish.

El Dandy & Negro Casas vs. Corazon de Leon (Chris Jericho) & Ultimo Dragon. Never even knew about this match until listening to Jericho's podcast with Dragon, but I'm glad I found it because it was a pretty fun tag match.
