I have a guy that I'm trying to push to the top of the card. He looks great, his logic is working out pretty well, but he gets noticeably gassed around the ten minute mark. Is this a case of him using too many moves, using too many moves he doesn't have an affinity for, or having too low defense parameters?
His stats are pretty high (he's at 201 currently), so I don't think it's his defense. He also has fast recovery and good breathing. How can get this guy to hang with the top of my card?

a.) what's his style b.) most importantly, what is his discretion

Look at his movelist, the moves will have a letter grade of how much breath it takes for them to use. Their style effects this. A Lucha can do arm drags and ranas all day, but a Power wrestler will get winded doing such moves. It won't effect the damage done, just the breath used.
So the style might be conflicting with the moves, but also the Discretion stat in Logic could be important; they may need a higher stat so they allow more breathing.

Also, one thing I often forget to take into account is the amount of breath used running before the edit actually uses/receives a running move. If you have an edit that runs around a lot (especially running toward dazed opponent) they can gas out pretty quickly even if the affinity for the running move itself is an A. And if the opponent does a lot of irish whips and uses the dodge/lay down move, your edit can get gassed quickly.
As far as I know, defense parameters and Health Points don't have any effect on an edit's breathing. You can have a defensive tank with the highest defensive parameter and body part health but they can still run out of breath quickly based on their fight style + doing moves that aren't high affinity, lack of actual breathing (due to discretion being too low), and running too much.
I think body size may affect an edit's breathing too. Giants gas out quicker than other body types.

another thing that will gas out edits very quickly is missing a lot of strikes. If you have your strikes set too high in the "Stand back (stall)" section, they will miss a lot of the time and your edit will gas early.
but yeah knowing your Fight Style and Discretion setting would go a long way to determining what is up.

Somewhat related - I have edits from FPR and earlier that were fine for most of the match and in World suck air much earlier. I attribute this to the Recovery/Breathing settings being fixed/separated. Now that there CAN be a disparity between both settings it seems they finally behave the way they *should*, IMO.

If missing a lot of strikes ia contributing, he may be attempting too many big moves early on. Fix logic to hold off on big moves until later.
Beyond that, don’t use too many small and medium moves that don’f match his style (D and E). If Orthodox, I give mine good breathing and fast recovery, since most moves are C compatible.
Raise discretion (maybe). If he throws opponents out of the ring a lot, he may want to regain his breath rather than go after opponent.

Power wrestlers aren’t suited to endurance. Ain't that the truth! (4 of my 6 "every game" creations are power wrestlers, and one of them moves around.....a LOT lol)

Looks like it was low discretion, completely missed it. Somehow it got set to 30%.
