In my youth i had an Amstrad CPC464 , and on it i ran across a game named Rock'N Wrestle in a store, while of course by today's standard it does not seem like much, i truly enjoyed it a lot at the time as it was my very first (and only one i had anyways on the system) wrestling game. here's a video of it : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Edz1k-e4KZ8oddly the player character was supposed to have blonde hair but for some reason on the cpc464 version of the game they made it light blue (on the Commodore 64 version while the game was less colorful, the characters had the originally intended colors)

It was actually Pro Wrestling on the NES. Every time WWF released a game on the NES I always said why can't it play like Pro Wrestling? Tecmo Wrestling was probably my second non-WWF wrestling game and I put an obscene amount of time into both of them.

WWF Superstars on the gameboy was my first. But it was soon replaced by HAL Wrestling for the same device. These are some pretty clear memories of mine: I was this guy who notoriously "forgot" his shoes and equipment for the gym-class, sitting on a bench in the sports-hall, playing wrestling games on the gameboy www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQbh8V87u7E

This was the first one that I played and really loved. Must have been about 6 years old or so when I first played it at my cousin's. I never had my own NES so I always looked forward to playing my cousin's every week when his mom watched after my sister and I for the evening. The only game he had that I liked more than Pro Wrestling was Super Tecmo Bowl lol.
The first wrestling game that I actually owned though was WWF Royal Rumble on SNES. I actually got the console fairly late compared to most people (I was 11, so it was September of 1995; it was my first video game console, if you don't count the handheld Sega Game Gear). We couldn't afford the then-new WrestleMania the Arcade Game, so we got the only other wrestler that was in the store at the time. Kind of a shame that I didn't find out about the far-superior WWF RAW for like a year. I think I ended up trading two games to get my hands on RAW lol

....SVR2008.
I got into rasslin' fairly recently, relatively speaking, though I played SVR2008 when it was new for a second or two and thought it wasn't the worst thing ever.
Of course I've gone back and played many, many, better wrestling games. However I'm still vaguely nostalgic for some of the not so good ones, like the original SVR, heh.

Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game was definitely the first one I ever owned (and man did it suck), but WCW vs The World was the first wrestling game I really fell in love with.

SVR 2011 And it Will Remain The Best Game Ever Because I uploaded dope caws yo! I stared so long at Joey Ryan's... Um attire, just to draw the tropical design and get it right. And this was before his penis had a decent workrate. My first game was Super WrestleMania for Genesis.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think my first wrestling game was WWF Steel Cage Challenge on NES.
