I really hope that we get that in the PC version.
Also really hope they finally allow us to priority INTO standing attacks.
And, in general, the more customization freedom that they give us in this game, the better.

I mean he basically is already in real life? The guy puts on 7 star matches now.
Apparently I'm the only person in the world who doesn't find his match to be good...
I thought that it was okay for what it was, but I do find it to be hilariously overrated. Then again, I might be the only person in the world that doesn't worship the ground that NJPW stands on. I understand the appeal but it's not my favorite thing. |

I thought that it was okay for what it was, but I do find it to be hilariously overrated. Then again, I might be the only person in the world that doesn't worship the ground that NJPW stands on. Are you referencing his recent match with Omega or Okada's work in general? What didn't/don't you like about it/them? Genuinely curious. |

As of right now, no, they are not. Although the roster has gotten some costume updates and perhaps a couple of new moves from post-2017, it still is made to reflect NJPW as of last year... And Jay White was gone from NJPW for pretty much the entirety of that year. Basically the only thing he did was come in, Blade Runner Tanahashi, and leave until Wrestle Kingdom.

Or they're trying to hide things from us!
I'm still thinking DLC3 is what will add all the foreigners and stuff. If they wanted to devote an entire DLC pack to Bullet Club throughout 2017 and this year, then Jay White being in it would be a suitable addition... Kenny tried to recruit him and failed, which set up the whole leadership struggle and, eventually, the split between the Tongans and the rest of the Club.

I can't speak for Carl obviously but with Omega I can't stand the stupid facial expressions or how basically all of his big matches are overly masturbatory movez fests designed to appeal to one particular kind of fan. In terms of Okada, I thought he was better five years ago than he is now. Most of his matches now follow the same distinct pattern and how much you enjoy them basically hinges on how much you enjoy his opponents and given that there are very few guys in New Japan in 2018 that I want to see dish out 20:00 of offense only for it to be disregarded so lil kazu can get his shit in...yeah, I'm gonna wind up not enjoying most of his matches. |

You can speak for me, because that's basically my issue with the two of them as well. Plus modern NJPW feels like early/mid 2000s US indy trash with money. I didn't like early/mid 2000s US indy trash, so I don't care for this version of NJPW.

I am hoping that they just needed more time to make the deals, so they are in the final DLC, the farthest out. Who else or what else could be in another roster/story mode DLC? |
