After an a few months away from the game, I'm back to making edits and my production is already a lot more consistent than it was before. I try to shoot for some realism with my edits, original characters that may be inspired to varying degrees by real world wrestlers throughout history, or entirely original. I've got three main promotions I focus on in my universe, all are tied together by the Japanese legend "Godhand", who trained the biggest stars of those promotions in the 1970's. There's also a school that hosts a few shows a year as well as a major promotion in the vein of WWE (WWWW) where careers go to die so wrestlers can get paid but I don't tend to talk about that one as much despite it being the most successful in the mainstream.

Buffalo Pro Sports inspired by the NWA (particularly the Amarillo Territory known as Western States Sports). Based in the heart of the Texas Panhandle, it's the capital of "real" pro wrestling thanks to the booker and face of the promotion Buck Larson and his connections to Mexico and Japan. Like the southern territories, especially Amarillo, they pride themselves on realism. Not only do they host the best American wrestlers, but feature legendary Mexican luchadores as well as up and coming Japanese greats. In recent years, Buffalo Pro has become the last stronghold of the territories and is more of an Indie with a hardcore fanbase and a deep history. Buck Larson steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1258850150This Amarillo native united the world of pro wrestling in is home promotion after taking over from the founder Karl Farley. He embodies that in his style as well, with traditional American holds, stiff Japanese inspired strikes, and surprising bursts of agility for a man of his size. He specializes in hitting an array of knees, most notably the Big Nasty Sunrise and the Calf Branding. But his favorite way to finish a match is slapping on the Lone Star Stretch to make his opponents holler in pain. A master of the Lariat as well, he'll bust out the legendary Black Lariat when his back is up against the wall. Theme: Ghost Riders In the Sky by The Outlaws www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmpvpypXKf0 Bronko Youngblood steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1248338946The most decorated champion in Buffalo Pro history, Bronko began his career in WWWW as a standout rookie after an excellent collegiate career in his home state of Oklahoma. Originally named KIng Payne after his Seminole ancestor, he left WWWW after being buried for not accepting what he considered a racist gimmick. He would then go on to Buffalo Pro where he would dominate the championship scene for a decade, obsessed with winning gold, and proving he was the most American wrestler to bleed red, white, and blue. He wrestles a very power based style backed by his solid amateur background. He has a myriad of ways to finish the match, but the High-rise Powerbomb and the infamous Powerplex, a combination of powerbomb and suplex displaying his remarkable athleticism and technique, are his most potent weapons. Thunder would win championships in Japan as well as America with an array of stiff kicks and an arsenal of brainbusters, including his unique corner variation that leaves his opponents Thunderstruck. He would team with Buck Larson in Japan winning multiple tournaments and even the world titles as the duo Thunder & Lightning, but was just as dominate solo winning world titles as a singles competitor. Duke and Buck would have their most hard hitting matches against eachother in the spirit of competition. Like the scorpions he's often compared to, Duke is capable of stinging opponents from anywhere. Thunderstruck!

Cielo Azul Lucha Libre, meaning "Blue Skies", this promotion is all about the high flying that has come to define lucha libre. Though thanks to the man the promotion was renamed to reflect, Cielo Lobo "Sky Wolf", stiff strikes and "efficient" submissions are more common than you would see in a similar promotion like CMLL or AAA. The fans are voracious here, technicos are carried on the shoulders of the people as heroes, while rudos are regularly showered in garbage and foul language if not outright attacked. Characters tend to be turned up a bit higher compared to the other promotions. Amarillo YararaThis snake may be known as Amarillo but he is anything but yellow, picking fights with the toughest men Mexico has to offer. With his stiff style and lack of respect, the fans were quick to boo this vicious competitor. He would have a fantastic feud with the legendary luchador El Latigo. Savvy fans were quick to realize this was obviously Buck Larson under the hood, he would return to CALL late in his career to help his old friend Cielo Lobo's son take on Poder Pantera to restore order to the promotion. Takinobori Puroresu, based on the phrase meaning "Koi climbing the waterfall", the wrestlers here embody the relentless spirit of the koi they're named after. This promotion is similar to early All Japan or modern New Japan, but with a very strong emphasis on tournaments that represent the waterfall in the name. The titleholders are real dragons who have made it to the top in the world of pro wrestling and holding a belt here makes for true royalty among their peers, every accomplishment is more than earned. Kyukazan steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1134152391Known as the Sleeping Mountain, this explosive mountain of a man was known for his blistering hand speed and power during his days of top level sumo where he would earn the title of Yokozuna. Known then as Asoyama, named after Japan's largest active volcano, he would retire and adopt the name Kyukazan before diving in to the sport of MMA during it's early days in Japan. After enjoying success with his surprising agility and not so surprising power, Kyukazan stepped in to the world of pro wrestling where he would become a huge fan favorite, especially in Ryogoku Sumo Hall where he enjoys a home turf advantage. He's very aggressive in the ring and looks to end matches quick before going back to his slumber, his his hand speed, iron head, and savage slams to put his opponents away. The Ku Crusher Brainbuster is a devastating brainbuster variation that lives up to its name, and if that doesn't work, the Burning Hammer is sure to put any man down for the count. Fishy Joe's School of Pro Wrestling isn't technically a promotion, but they do run around 4 shows a year. Most take place in the local high school gym, but they host one major show outdoors every year that includes alumni as well as special guests. Fishy Joe Joe Fish Joey the Fish Boston Crab

Wally's Wild World of Wrestling may be synonymous with pro wrestling, but it's by far the weakest as far as the wrestling is concerned. Wally Quaddlebum is obsessed with money, preferring to eat up competition and sit on great talent. It may not be particularly enjoyable to watch, but the company has hosted some of the best talent the sport has seen.
