Digital Dave once again with the match notes for a stop on the UCSS Belated NYE Japan Tour: UCSS Belated NYE Japan Tour Round Two, Yamagata - 2-6-2024 (Non-televised) February 6th at the Good Feelings Resort in Yamagata, Japan Main Event: UCSS Rules Cherry Blossom Ikki(SWA) with Mikazuki vs. Dangerous Nicholas Alger [Dave's Match Notes] -Unfortunately, we had to endure Mikazuki at ringside for this one. -Cherry Blossom Ikki again with natural hair. -First round was all Alger, other than some quick trips from Ikki. -Second round was Ikki for the first four minutes, Alger seemed to pull his leg escaping from a cross kneebar, rallied in the end to survive. -Cherry Blossom Ikki submitted Dangerous Nicholas Alger at 1:03 in the third round with a jujigatame armbar. [Summary] Two veterans going through the paces here, some nice moments of drama and resilience. [79%] Hakim Fields, Jumbo Joseph Butt and Gemma Jo Butt vs. Team SWA(Soji Kanda, Takaya Hinomiya and Abbie Jones) [Dave's Match Notes] -The crowd loved Gemma Jo Butt to an almost irrational degree. -Hakim Fields wore street clothes for the match for what that's worth. -First five minutes were extremely uneventful. -Soji Kanda kicked Gemma Jo in the head and Jumbo Joseph tagged right in and went on a run until Abbie Jones kicked him in the groin. -Some nice scrambles from Fields and Hinomiya -Things picked up around the fifteen minute mark with lots of big punches from Jumbo and both Hinomiya and Kanda relentlessly suplexed Fields. -Takaya Hinomiya pinned Hakim Fields with a running seated knee strike at 19:56. [Summary] Hard hitting match for an exhibition in the end, but was too little, too late, took too long to get going. [65%] Battle Blossoms(Onosa'i Tagaloa, Sakura Ishigami and Manami Ishigami) vs. Special Forces(Frank Van Sloan and Mahima Gurung) and Renate Barlowe [Dave's Match Notes] -Renate Barlowe is not officially part of the Special Forces team but seems like a natural fit. -Gurung dominated both Ishigamis to start things off with lots of quick takedowns and kicks. -Tagaloa's striking kept the Blossoms in the match, things seemed to shift when she was in. -Renate Barlowe countered in a ground scramble to catch Tagaloa with a Mercenary Lock heel hook at 20:59 [Summary] Could have been wore, even action that didn't overstay its welcome. [79%]

One last non-televised stop on the tour in Sendai, again, with a special free Ring Beholder Archives bracket of Dave Doolittle's match reviews. UCSS Belated NYE Japan Tour Round Three, Sendai - 2-7-2024 (Non-televised) February 7th at the Nakajishi Mountain Hotel in Sendai, Japan Main Event: 5x3 Minute Rules Hakim Fields with Jumbo Joseph Butt and Gemma Jo Butt vs. Takaya Hinomiya(SWA) with Soji Kanda(SWA) [Dave's Match Notes] -Shorter three minute rounds were agreed upon for a more approrpriate exhibition approach. -Once again, the Japanese crowd loved Gemma Jo Butt when she showed up in Fields's corner. Hakim himself again in street clothes. -Not much happened in the first round, nobody landed anything of note. -A few guillotine and a triangle attempt from Hinomiya in round two, and a good judo trip from Fields. -Hapa Elbows from Fields in round three, but Hinomiya had more submission attempts and a two count. -Nice armbars from back mount from Hinomiya in the fourth round, and a big enzuigiri, but Fields also had a nine count off his signature judo trip. -Hakim Fields defeated Takaya Hinomiya by TKO stoppage due to Hapa Elbows at 1:58 in the fifth round. [Summary] Not terrible for a short round exhibition match, but it was nothing special. [74%] MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire with Mikazuki)(SWA) vs. Apocalyptic Warriors(Masa Tokugawa and Ai Tanaka) [Dave's Match Notes] -Like the rest of the multi-person tag matches on the Tour, this was held under showcase rules, in spite of only being two on two. -Ikki again with natural hair, again, unfortunately, Mikazuki at ringside. -Ikki actually got Tanaka with his handshake fake out into an armbar. -Thomas Lancashire tried to grab a board on the outside, but Tanaka knocked it away and kneed him in the face. -The brawl between Ai Tanaka and Thomas Lancashire on the outside was intense. -Cherry Blossom Ikki submitted Masa Tokugawa with a rear naked choke at 19:55 [Summary] Disjointed match with one good exchange outside and disappointing action in the ring. [62%] World Famous Savage-Do(Rikki Renegade(Neutral Ground), Oleg Makos and Count Savage) vs. Shaolin Superstars(Chun Zheng(Neutral Ground) and Gang Wong) and Seong Jung Hwan) [Dave's Match Notes] -Seong wore a green casual dress for this, obviously enjoying her time in Sendai -Rikki Renegade tagged right in and hit Seong with a backdrop on the apron immediately. -Gang Wong and Oleg Makos seemed to harbor a grudge any time they both tagged in. -Seong utterly outclassed Count Savage until the not so good Count busted out his nunchucks. -Oleg Makos pinned Chun Zheng with a lifting facebuster into a deadlift spinning gutwrench jumping bomb at 24:20. [Summary] Entertaining, quality match that carried a roller coaster momentum. [94%]

As New Year's Eve is known as one of the biggest days in combat sports in Japan, UCSS attempted to run a tour that covered NYE, but instead had to wait over a month to do so. Having toured the largest island of Japan, Honshu for much of the week, Universal Combat Shoot Style will now fly north to Sapporo to finish up the small venue tour. Of note, Commissioner Alger made sure to leave the current UCSS Openweight Champion, Ewan Jacobs and all members of Infamous and the Big Banter Brand off the tour. Hakim Fields will make an attempt at the SWA Prestige title after some hard fought encounters with the Prestige pioneers on the earlier tour dates. UCSS: Belated NYE Tour Finale in Sapporo - 2-9-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Feburary 9th at Senshi no Kokoro Brewing in Sapporo, Japan Main Event: SWA Prestige Championship Bout Soji "The Warning" Kanda(SWA)(C) with Takaya Hinomiya(SWA) vs. Hakim Fields Lamont Aldren(Wrestle Parade) with Keith Van Horne(Wrestle Parade) vs. Masa Tokugawa with Ai Tanaka Red Alert(Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) and Aoife Daley) and Polar Opposites(Marija Pulev and Lula Bufona) vs. Agile Warriors(Anatoly Shkuro and Onika Santos) and MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire) Dangerous Nicholas Alger vs. Jamie Tomasi Rikki Renegade(Neutral Ground) with Count Savage vs. Chun Zheng(Neutral Ground) with Gang Wong Catch Club Canada(Eliza Faulkner(MWWC) and Mackenzie Bergeron) vs. Thiago Gracie BJJ(Thiago Gracie and Angie Armstrong) Manami Ishigami UCSS Official Debut Gemma Jo Butt vs. Manami Ishigami Special Forces(Frank Van Sloan and Mahima Gurung) vs. Battle Blossoms(Onosa'i Tagaloa and Sakura Ishigami)

[One Thumb Up] UCSS is best when it moves along fast and not too many people come away too injured to compete again. In this case, the sum of the parts overcame a lack of standout matches individually speaking. This was a small, tightly compacted event and served a trio of decently good matches in Renegade-Zheng, Thiago Gracie BJJ-Catch Club Canada and Fields-Kanda. Nothing truly exceptional, but aside from the headscratcher that was the finisher of Tokugawa-Aldren, the good outweighed the mediocre. Not the most memorable review, but it wasn't the most memorable program, either. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS UCSS: Belated NYE Tour Finale in Sapporo - 2-9-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Feburary 9th at Senshi no Kokoro Brewing in Sapporo, Japan Bonus Match: Lilou Ibara Debut - Standard Rules Swingin' Suzie vs. Lilou Ibara Surprise late addition to the tour, new Office addition, French Congolese DJ sensation, unorthodox high energy striker and distant relative to Office GOAT Jean-Pierre Mutombo(allegedly), Lilou "The Beat" Ibara took on Swingin' Suzie and impressed en route to a hammerlock DDT earning her the pinfall victory. Main Event: SWA Prestige Championship Bout Soji "The Warning" Kanda(SWA)(C) with Takaya Hinomiya(SWA) vs. Hakim Fields Hakim Fields fought a typically economical approach to this championship bout, and while Soji Kanda tested his resolve with an onslaught of suplexes and submissions, particuarily in the second round, even stealing the Cell Block Lock, Fields would hold on to use his own signature submission back on Kanda to secure a second round submission to claim the SWA Prestige championship. Lamont Aldren(Wrestle Parade) with Keith Van Horne(Wrestle Parade) vs. Masa Tokugawa with Ai Tanaka A good contest marred with a bizarre counter from Tokugawa, pinning Aldren after escaping a double chickenwing lock in the third round. Red Alert(Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) and Aoife Daley) and Polar Opposites(Marija Pulev and Lula Bufona) vs. Agile Warriors(Anatoly Shkuro and Onika Santos) and MATWORK(Cherry Blossom Ikki and Thomas Lancashire) Four duos represented in two teams in a showcase challenge, with the action moving along fast and the Agile Warriors walked away the biggest winners as Onika Santos pinned Leona Sterling after a standing tiger feint kick. With MATWORK on the winning side, Cherry Blossom Ikki earned his homeland cheers here. Dangerous Nicholas Alger vs. Jamie Tomasi The Dangerous One proved once again that age and front office responsiblies have not dulled his edge, surviving the suplexes and armbars of Jamie Tomasi, striking effectively and opening a cut, and eventually submitting his foe with the Bermuda Triangle in the fourth round. Rikki Renegade(Neutral Ground) with Count Savage vs. Chun Zheng(Neutral Ground) with Gang Wong The rarest of results: a time limit draw in UCSS. While Rikki Renegade is a recent addition to UCSS, her history with Chun Zheng goes back to their mutual high school days, a grudge well seasoned with time. The two fought relentlessly, using every trick in their kits here, but unable to bring the fight to its conclusion, and after twenty five minutes, both were still intact. While this may have been a match extended as long as it could go within the provided constraints, there is no doubt that these two will continue their struggle sooner than not. Catch Club Canada(Eliza Faulkner(MWWC) and Mackenzie Bergeron) vs. Thiago Gracie BJJ(Thiago Gracie and Angie Armstrong) Quality grappling contest that concluded in a great combo from Catch Canada Canada that resulted in Eliza Faulkner submitting Angie Armstrong with the Separatuer De Jambe leg splitting stretch. A big win for the Club, giving them a definite direction after their losses in the Prestige division. Thiago Gracie and Angie Armstrong served as the Thiago Gracie BJJ duo for the first time here, and looked reasonably good in defeat. Manami Ishigami UCSS Official Debut Gemma Jo Butt vs. Manami Ishigami "Mamagami" held her own, but Gemma Jo Butt was able to ride the momentum of her popularity on the Japanese tour to pin the elder Ishigami with a front falling powerbomb in the third round. Still, a solid showing for both relative newcomers to UCSS. Special Forces(Frank Van Sloan and Mahima Gurung) vs. Battle Blossoms(Onosa'i Tagaloa and Sakura Ishigami) Special Forces earned a much-needed win with Mahima Gurung landing a running Kukri Knee on Sakura Ishigami for the pin. A fast opening tag bout that went by too fast to leave an impression. --- Match of the Night: Renegade vs. Zheng -While the SWA Prestige match was good, this one presented a quality struggle between two old rivals and was a time limit draw reached due to the tenacity of both competitors, not due to a lack of engagement. Performacnce of the Night: Hakim Fields -After looking to take a step back from the Openweight division, Hakim Fields quickly stepped back up and defeated a still-dangerous Soji Kanda to claim the SWA Prestige title, making for an easy choice.

[One Thumb Up] It ain't bad, two good debuts, some fun midcard stuff, and a main event that makes me want to see what comes next. Nowhere near the sort of thing that nets two thumbs, but really, for a setup show, this did the job. It's like the old contractually obligated live album, generally, you don't expect those to outshine the group's primo releases, but if you were a fan, you'd be excited enough to get the live ones, too. Also, on a final note Shino Ito is the future. You heard it from me here, first. -Tom S. Hunter. RESULTS Golden Touch #30: Colossal Confrontation - 2-16-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, February 16th at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington DC Bonus Match The Sheridan Bros(Zach Sheridan and Vincent Sheridan)(Evergreen) vs. Rekless Endangerment(Johnny Rekless and Danger Daniels)(ZIP Japan) The blasts from the past, Rekless Endangerment made a special one night return here to go up against one of today's most dynamic teams in the Sheridan Bros, and while Johnny Rekless and Danger Daniels may not quite be able to keep up with the evolved high energy style of the Sheridans, they were still able to prevail on the mat, with Daniels submitting Zack Sheridan with a heel hook. Main Event: Colossal Confrontation The Immovable Object and the Irresistible Force(Colossus Rhodes and Julio Rivera) vs. Moustapha Ndour and Ibrahim Rahman Strong as Colossus Rhodes looked here, Rahman and Ndour were able to take advantage of his weak point in the Irresistible Force, Julio Rivera, with Ndour planting him with a reverse chokeslam to make a statement while head Office referee Rick Humphries signaled for the knockout stoppage. Ndour, Rahman and Rhodes are set to fight for the Number One Ranking in a month, and this match certainly gave a preview of a competitive encounter to come. UCSS Openweight Championship Bout The Infamous Ewan Jacobs(C) with Ernest "Death Prince" Miller and Damon Smith vs. "Fistic Deity" Larry Washington(Realm of Wrestling) with Andronicus Turner and Ricky "Violence" Valdez With Infamous and the Sweet Science Society at ringside, Larry Washington went about extracting his well-deserved retribution, utterly overwhelming Ewan Jacobs in a fair fight, putting him down with ease in the second round with a big power straight to get the pin and regain the UCSS Openweight title. Marshalls vs. Rudo Army The Marshall Family(Lance Marshall, Cassandra Marshall and Terra Marshall)(American Frontier Wrestling) vs. Rudo Army(The New Humanity Esteban Vargas, Florencia Espinoza and Megan Chabot) Good trios match that saw a surprise win for Esteban Vargas, going right at the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Champion ahead of his challenge for the belt, pinning Lance Marshall with a moonsault fallaway slam into a standing moonsault and shooting star press combo. The former two time Crossfit Games champion may finally be en route to realizing his full potential in the Office. (This is not the first time those words have been said...) PEWA Extreme Tag Title Contender Bout Demarcus Browning(Warbringers)(Rose Garden) vs. Sampath Thakur(Path of Anarchy) vs. PM Carnage(New Mutants) vs. Running Diamond Cutter Man Jose Marin(Diamond Records) It took twenty minutes for this match to kick into the elimination phase, but once it did, it moved quickly. Demarcus Browning pinned Sampath Thakur almost by accident after hitting a brainbuster on Jose Marin, Browning pinned PM Carnage next after fully meaning to hit him wtih the Browning Buster. Finally, the Running Diamond Cutter Man countered another Browning Buster into a bridge for the surprise pinfall, giving Diamond Records the future shot at the Hellbutchers and the PEWA Extreme Tag Championship. El Hilo Del Dodecahedron Jr. with Dodecahedron, Notorious EFM and Margarita Morales vs. El Hilo Del Sapo(Rose Garden) with Frog Buster and Poison Froggy Mask Once again, El Hilo Del Dodecahedron Jr. took on a well-established upper tier foe, and came away raising his stock. The super prospect looked like he could do anything here as he went up against a former TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight champ, but El Hijo Del Sapo was able to call upon his superior experience and ruthless mentality as he landed a rolling cutter into a double roll sunset flip to score the pinfall win. A quality match that did well for all the participants. UCSS Rules Lexie Barrett(Butterfloor) vs. Lula Bufona One of the best matches of the night in spite of its relatively short length. Barrett and Bufona matched up well with their myriad antics, with Barrett coming away the winner after catching her foe in the second round with a rolling leglock. There should be little doubt after this that these two will meet again. Abominog II Debut Match Abominog II with Dodecahedron vs. Shrimp Simpson The original Abominog was active in the 80s and 90s, rumored to be a hard rock radio DJ who went into wrestling with absolutely no skill for anything but bloody brawls and instigating controversial incidents with his penchant to push the envelope. He ended up being Dodecahedron's arch rival in the mid 90s, taking the great technician's mask in a brutally violent feud. Unfortunately, not too long after, Abominog would retire abruptly following a terrible, mobility limiting injury suffered in a car accident. Later on, he would reach out to his former enemy, asking him to take a nephew of his into training, and Dodecahedron accepted, training up the wrestler who picked up the Abominog mantle. Abominog II has now signed with the TIPWF, invited in by his trainer, and made incredibly easy work out of Shrimp Simpson in his Office debut, pinning him with his half nelson wrist clutch Nightmare Driver. Shino Ito Debut Match Shino Ito vs. Leslie B. The daughter of Lightning Pro Chairman Shima Ito signed up as a full fledged member of the roster, despite her rookie status. In spite of some rumors, she has entirely bypassed the Dojo, a move that has already drawn some resentment on the roster. Shino looked out of her element at the start of this match, having trouble hitting basic slams on Leslie B, but as the match went along, Shino looked less and less like a raw rookie, and more like a confident, bordering on arrogant pro, eventually pinning Leslie with a leg hook backdrop variant. --- Match of the Night: El Hijo del Dodecahedron Jr. vs. El Hijo del Sapo -Great lucha action with two supremely skilled individuals, can't go wrong with that. Performance of the Night: Larry Washington -Washington did well to get his belt back and silence the ever-obnoxious Ewan Jacobs in the process. --- Injury Report Julio Rivera - Moderate Concussion - Three Month Medical Suspension -The freelancer was KOed by a big reverse chokeslam from Moustapha Ndour and will not be seen in action for some time as a result. ---

The last PEWA event before next month's massive twenty-fifth anniversary celebration leans heavily on the PEWA Originals, many of whom are seeing their penultimate trip to the ring here, including Tracy Finn as he faces a mandatory defense of his Ruler of the Road championship against the nearly insurmountable threat of Demarcus Browning. P-Dogg and Da Outsider team with the Bingo Hall Mutants against a quartet of PEWA's Most Hated along with the dreaded SWA legend, Mr. Cobra. Skurai gives Ninja Smith her final test on the Path of the Ninja, Killer King Jones teams for the first and last time with his own pupil, Brickhouse Thelonious, and much more action featuring current and rising stars features down the card. PEWA: One More Pint For the Road - 2-23-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on February 25th at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA Main Event: PEWA Ruler of the Road Championship Bout Tracy Finn(C) vs. Demarcus Browning(Rose Garden) P-Dogg, Da Outsider and the Bingo Hall Mutants(Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) vs. Mr. Cobra(SWA) and PEWA's Most Hated("Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde, Jeffrey Janson and Zanca) The Last Lesson on the Path of the Ninja Skurai vs. Ninja Smith Hideo Kawabata(Realm of Wrestling) vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi Karnstein Killer King Jones and Brickhouse Thelonious vs. Railjumpers(Jayne Payne and Jumpin' Jim Malone) "Buttered Toast Man" Rory Burton(Butterfloor) vs. Itzcoatl Hernandez with Young Blood and Backyard Pyro Buraee Mahishasura with Stanford Bradley and Big Stan vs. Fat Burner with Texas Rose Welsh Pizza(Jasper Rhys(Neutral Ground) and Masked Maniac IV) vs. ENHANCE(String Bean and Robbie Roberts) Hila de Holy Diver with Supernaut and Holy Diver vs. La Corsaria(Phoenix Rising) with Warsan Caaliah Ali

[Two Thumbs Up] This is almost certainly going down as the worst show to get two thumbs in my entire time of doing this. I don't care, I'm biased, and this was entirely due to sentimental nostalgia bait from a promotion I've watched for the better part of twenty years. There were no standout matches, no great performances that were worth mentioning here in an objective basis. And yet, if you're a PEwA fan, especially an old school core fan, you'll savor this. You had some passing the torch moments, with Ninja Smith and Brickhouse Thelonious looking like the successful successors to their mentors. You had Da Outsider showing that he's probably gotten himself into the best shape he's been in a decade after taking more than a year away due to injury. And damn it, call me an absolute sap, but I got a speck of dust in my eye when I realized that Browning stepped aside to give Tracy Finn a shining moment under the lights, with the Unlucky Legend finding that he may have been the PEWA's fortunate son in the end. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS PEWA: One More Pint For the Road - 2-25-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on February 25th at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA Bonus Match Demarcus Browning with Moustapha Ndour vs. Big Stan with Stanford Bradley An announcement followed the main event that Demarcus Browning would fight for the vacated Ruler of the Road against Fat Burner on the Anniversary Eve night before PEWA 25, and also, that the crowd would not be cheated out of a Browning experience, as Demarcus had finally found his way to the ring, and would be taking on the debuting Big Stan. This was exactly what one would have hoped for, a one sided demolition job in favor of Browning, albeit, one that took a bit longer than hoped, likely due to the foam padding helping Big Stan resist some of Browning's high impact moves. Still, a spinning cross arm bomb would score the win with ease, Browning pinning Big Stan without trouble. Main Event: PEWA Ruler of the Road Championship Bout Tracy Finn(C) vs. Shrimp Simpson Originally, this was booked to be a title bout between Tracy Finn and Demarcus Browning, a match that would in all likelihood, have been an utter obliteration in favor of the War Bringer. But Browning was nowhere to be found before the match, with an investigation hinting that Browning had become lost in the halls of the Halcyon Ballroom, with a chair sitting in front of his locker adorned with a stack of restaurant ketchup packets, and a sign stating "Good luck, champ." taped to the top. (For those unaware of the significance, for twenty-five years, Finn's often been known for getting lost in the Halcyon before a match, and for the bizarre habit of eating ketchup packets on various occasions.) As such, PEWA President Bodybreaker Brown addressed the Halcyon, telling the crowd that Tracy Finn would still have to defend his belt as per regulations, with the Ruler of the Road always being defended on standard PEWA broadcasts, but instead of Browning, Brown said that there was one available opponent in the locker room: Shrimp Simpson. Finn, having won the first belt in his entire twenty-five year run with the PEWA, no longer found himself on the wrong end of a horrible mismatch, but instead put on a remarkable entertaining bout with the popular jobber, and for his first and final defense of the Ruler, Finn overcame the speed and pace of Simpson, eventually pinning him when Shrimp failed at bodyslamming him, with the unintentional crossbody scoring the three count. This was no MOTY, but as far as the fans in the Halcyon Ballroom were concerned, there could have been no better main event for the evening. Tracy Finn will retire unbowed, unbroken, the undefeated Ruler of the Road for the ages. P-Dogg, Da Outsider and the Bingo Hall Mutants(Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) vs. Mr. Cobra(SWA) and PEWA's Most Hated("Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde, Jeffrey Janson and Zanca) A match that started off with a big double team cross powerbomb from Da Outsider and Rampage Rage, moved faster than some would have hoped for those wanting to see a bit more from P-Dogg and Da Outsider, the latter of whom was making his first in ring showing in over a year, and with Zanca pinning Skullface Killah with a flying knee, the ending was less than satisfactory for many. Yet, this still showed that Outsider was back in good enough shape to finish his career with dignity and the Mutants were solid as ever. The Last Lesson on the Path of the Ninja Skurai vs. Ninja Smith Finally, the Hardcore Ninja was able to impart his final lesson to his last student, Diana Murakami, aka Ninja Smith. Smith showed that she had paid attention, using a Ninja Plunge double underhook avalanche facebuster, a chair assisted superkick and survived a Skurai piledriver to land an acrobatic back switch into a victory roll for the win. Skurai proudly bowed to Smtih afterwards, proclaiming her to now be "the true hardcore ninja" with her win and telling the crowd that "the student surpassed the teacher." Hideo Kawabata(Realm of Wrestling) vs. Sir Vladimir Henry with Heidi Karnstein First, let it be said that Hideo Kawabata had this match won, not once, but twice. Each time it looked as if danger was inbound for the Arcane Master of the Dark Arts, Heidi Karnstein was there to save Sir Vladimir. This pattern repeated itself long enough for Vlad Henry to spike Hideo down with the Omen of Death thumb to the throat, scoring a tainted three count in the process. A good brawl of a match, but one that put the Halcyon Ballroom in an irate mood. Killer King Jones and Brickhouse Thelonious vs. Railjumpers(Jayne Payne and Jumpin' Jim Malone) For the first, and last time, teacher and student teamed up, with Brickhouse Thelonious absorbing the lessons of the legendary Killer King Jones well enough to defeat the ever-dangerous Jayne Payne with Jones's signature Eritrean Head Cannon toss up headbutt to the midsection, pinning the Highway Outlaw veteran. Jones and Thelonious will face each other at PEWA 25, but the two were able to share this moment in victory. "Buttered Toast Man" Rory Burton(Butterfloor) vs. Itzcoatl Hernandez with Young Blood and Backyard Pyro While it wasn't the longest match of the night, it was certainly one of the better ones, with the Buttered Toast Man giving the Aztec Executioner a good fight, that is, until Hernandez spiked him with a Blood Tribute corner brainbuster for the pin. Buraee Mahishasura with Stanford Bradley and Big Stan vs. Fat Burner with Texas Rose In spite of being cornered by Stanford Bradley and Big Stan, Bradley's new big foam headed mascot sidekick, Buraee Mahishasura found out why Fat Burner is never to be underestimated and lost to a KO stoppage after the fitter, stronger fitness guru pancaked him with a full power Body Buster. Welsh Pizza(Jasper Rhys(Neutral Ground) and Masked Maniac IV) vs. ENHANCE(String Bean and Robbie Roberts) The team of Jasper Rhys and Masked Maniac IV outworked their ENHANCE foes here, with Rhys submitting Robbie Roberts with a cobra triangle hold for the win. Hila de Holy Diver with Supernaut and Holy Diver vs. La Corsaria(Phoenix Rising) with Warsan Caaliah Ali A well paced opener with La Corsaria's deep bag of tricks carrying her to victory, using a gory bomb into a gedo clutch for the pin, still, Hija De Holy Diver's improvement was marked here, both in physique and skills, just not enough to overcome the experienced piracy of Corsaria. --- Match of the Night: Killer King Jones and Brickhouse Thelonious vs. The Railjumpers -Not the best night for match quality, but this was a good old school brawl and was one of the most evenly competitive of the night, with a strong finish that brought things to a satisfying conclusion. Kawabata-Henry was right there in quality, but the finish was worse, so this wins outright. Performance of the Night: Tracy Finn -The Unlucky Legend goes out without ever losing his belt, almost certainly the only time that someone will win this award defeating Shrimp Simpson in a main event title defense. --- Injury Report Buraee Mahishasura: Wind Knocked Out (No Medical Suspension) -A Full Power Body Buster from Fat Burner put the Evil Buffalo down for the stoppage, but on the bright side, it did no lasting damage.

[One Thumb Up] We're due for a bad one soon, I can feel it in my bones. But for now, I'll enjoy a nice run of nice, but not great shows in the Office. It sure beats the alternative of some sort of horrific technical shitfest ruining an otherwise decent event, or a classic comedy of booking errors wasting my time. As it was, this was your usual transitional lead-in show, setting up a number of big matches at Golden Touch and it did what it needed to do. Felix Junior-Hilo Del Dodecahedron Junior was as good as hoped, Obadiah Calhoun-Blade Saeba was pure energy and Tornado Allie-Margarita Morales was a great mix of styles. Not one I'll demand you watch, but I think you'll get a lot out of it, even if you're not into the TIPWF. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS TIPWF: Ready And Set - 3-1-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, March 1st at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX Bonus Match Lilou Ibara with Professor Mark Gizenga vs. Felice Santana with Felix Santana Sr. Superb win for the top free agent in the Office, as Lilou Ibara pinned a high level foe in Felice Santana with her Needle Drop inverted guillotine ace crusher. Of note here, Professor Mark Gizenga was at the French-Congolese prospect's side, instead of the absent Jean-Pierre Mutombo, who was busy working on a movie. Main Event: Beat The Clock Challenge, Round Two The Marshall Family(Lance Marshall, Cassandra Marshall and Terra Marshall)(Phoenix Rising) vs. ENHANCE(Robbie Roberts, Shrimp Simpson and La Belleza) The Marshall Family were not as merciful as the Rudo Army were, with Cassandra bringing this to a close with a folding high angle cloverleaf to submit Robbie Roberts, this one in a comfortable thirteen minutes and fourty nine seconds to win the Beat the Clock Challenge. Dominican Golden Championship Prove It Bout Felix Santana Jr. vs. El Hijo Del Dodecahedron Jr. Incredible win for the biggest prospect in the business, with El Hilo del Dodecahedron Jr. going move for move with the great Felix Santana Jr. and eventually pinning him after hitting a double arm shoulderbreaker into the Count to Twelve, his swinging crucifix hold. This now sets up a future Dominican Golden Championship bout, giving Felix Jr. a worthy challenger for his cherished belt. Beat The Clock Challenge, Round One Rudo Army(The New Humanity Esteban Vargas, Canadian Grizzly and Megan Chabot) vs. ENHANCE(String Bean, Jennie Medici and Betty Black Trunks) A lackadaisical showing for the Rudo Army, a win, yes, but one that took twenty seven minutes and five seconds for Canadian Grizzly to pin String Bean. Remarkably, he did so after mimicing the Bean's own basic vertical suplex, following up with a pinfall. Not a promising result for a Beat the Clock challenge, though, and not a great showing for the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight title's future contender, Esteban Vargas. Obadiah Calhoun vs. Blade Saeba(SWA) Obadiah Calhoun showed the world why he is considered the crown jewel centerpiece of the Green River Wrestling roster, overwhelming the extremely dangerous Blade Saeba with his remarkable acrobatic skills, eventually pinning the Vanishing member with a standing tornado DDT, evening the score for the night to prepare for the Calhoun Bros's future title shot against the Vanishing. Abednego Calhoun with Lucia Shikongo Calhoun vs. Notorious(SWA) with Grateful Saeba(SWA) In spite of some early momentum for Abednego Calhoun, Notorious took charge as the match went along, surviving a diving elbow from his foe to turn the tables with multiple Bastard Bomber axe bomber lariats to earn the three, and to take the advantage in the two match series for the night in favor of the current SWA Tag Team Champions. Tornado Allie(Typhoon Pro) vs. Margarita Morales An outstanding battle and one of the highlights of the night, with Tornado Allie taking the fight to one of the TIPWF's veteran performers, but in spite of Allie's powerful pressure, Morales was able to weather the storm and lock in Dulces Suenos, her crossarm triangle hold for the submission. This one earned the coveted hundo from Dave Doolittle and for good reason. Impacto Del Ciclón(Princesa Torbellina and Colision) vs. Lutadora Festiva(Free Agent) and La Axolotl(Free Agent) Incredibly surprising upset with the two free agent luchadoras picking up a vital win over one of the better rising teams in the TIPWF. Lutadora Festiva was able to pin Colision with a rolling cradle, perhaps giving herself and La Axolotl a shot at returning to the big stage. Angelita Serefines Return Match Angelita Serefines with Martina Martinez vs. Big Stan with Stanford Bradley Fortunately, Angelita Serefines was able to get through a full match in the Office without suffering an injury, unfortunately, it took the top EWO prospect over twenty minutes to land a rough ryder for the three count against Stanford Bradley's foam headed mascot. Team 12(Abominog II, The Notorious EFM and Dodecahedron) vs. Whitesnake(Saburo Aoki Jr, Corrina "Cobra" Schwall and Opaque) With the addition of Saburo Aoki Jr, the Whitesnake team has been on an upward trajectory, and again, the Swift Blade came through, pinning the imposing newcomer Abominog II with a Kido Clutch. Still, a good showing for all three Team 12 members, with Dodecahedron's mat skills, Notorious EFM's explosiveness and Abominog II's vicious power standing out. --- Match of the Night: Tornado Allie vs. Margarita Morales, Felix Santana Jr. vs. El Hilo Del Dodecahedron Jr. -Two superb matches in their own right, with the first one working as both a great slugfest and a technical showcase and the latter serving as a major step in the rise of a future star. The Calhoun-Saeba match was close to making this a three part tie. Performance of the Night: El Hilo Del Dodecahedron Jr, Lilou Ibara -Two big time upsets over established Santana Family stars, with Hilo Jr. earning a title bout out of his big win and Ibara putting all four Office Affiliates on notice with hers.

[One Thumb Down] When the show features as many KOs as a particuarily rough UCSS event and everything was overshadowed by a tag match featuring two teams that combine for over fifty years of experience, the downward thumb is warrented. This wasn't entirely terrible, just underwhelming to the point that I cannot make myself generate enough creative energy to write anything more here. -Tom S. Hunter Lightning Pro x Wacker Drive Revival: Chi-Town Cruise - 3-8-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, March 8th at Wacker Drive Revival in Chicago, IL Bonus Match Maximilian Francisco De La Cruz with Rumika Hashi vs. Lilou Ibara with Professor Mark Gizenga Ibara's free agent tour continued here and the French-Congolese DJ sensation showed that she may well be able to live up to a portion of her hype with a great win over the former El Experto, closing De La Cruz out for the referee stoppage with her Needle Drop inverted guillotine crusher. Main Event Pure Gold(Kanjirin Tonorian, Mallory Spaulding and "Five Star" Kyle Anderson)(Phoenix Rising) vs. The Destructive Alliance(Crusher Honda, Wrecker Yamamoto and Yuriko Masamune) A rare teamup between the belt holding duo of Pure Gold with Kanjirin Tonorian ahead of the Destructive Duo's challenge for Kyle Anderson and Mallory Spaulding's Victorious Tag Medals saw the legendary Yuriko Masamune earn the submission win with a cross STF on Spaulding. A competent main event that told little about the future title bout between Pure Gold and the Duo. Diego Santana vs. Dag Boomer(SWA) with Laurence Holland(SWA) A fearless attempt at Diego Santana who now finds his SWA Heavyweight title bout postponed after Laurence Holland's eternal gatekeeper, Dag Boomer knocking him out on the floor with a front powerslam. The D-Train(D-Man Daunte Thomas and Freight Train McMichaelson) with Astrid Johannson and Leilani Auerbach vs. The Goodfellas(Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) with Mr. Cobra(SWA) and Lucretia DeCavalcante Once again, the veterans stole the show. Two of the longest running teams in the Office, and the Critical Alliance in general put on a clinic for competitive tag team action in this one, and while the D-Train did well enough on their end to turn back the clock, the Goodfellas proved that they've never lost a step with Tony the Rod pinning the Freight Train with his Rod Smasher inverted DDT for the pin. All in all, this one was the clear highlight of the whole show. Esther Musambi with King Bemba and Yetunde Oya vs. Blair Taylor with Ibrahim Rahman Although Esther Musambi seemed to land the more significant moves on average, Blair Taylor was able to keep her composure, overcoming Musambi's power and the Royal Court's interference to pin her with a hopover bridging pin. Technical Ecstacy gets a win over the Royal Court ahead of King Bemba's challenge for Ibrahim Rahman's Victorious Mdeal. NBNF(The X-Treme Kid, DUDE Smith, Gray Thomas and Taylor Ngyuen) vs. GRANDEUR(Thunder Fist(ZIP Japan), Psycho Witch(ZIP Japan), Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammdi and FENYANG) Strong match with both sides getting in plenty of moves, but in the end, GRANDEUR netted an important win with Ali Ahmed Mehrmohammadi pinning the X-Treme Kid with his Air Nigeria high jump diving elbow drop. Chuck A. Mann(Realm of Wrestling) vs. Bradley "Bradley Carr" Carr(Butterfloor) One-sided eradication in favor of Chuck, who chucked Carr around and pinned him after his Lob City throwing powerbomb. Rei Hasegawa with Keiko Maeda(Phoenix Rising) and Yuki Okamura vs. Akari Ikari with Hoon Hwangbo and Alice Yanagiswawa Impressive win for the Choke Artist, Akari Ikari, who demonstrated her mat skills, surviving Rei Hasegawa's technical onslaught, unleashing a flurry of strikes and pinning her after a deadlift vertical suplex. The feud between SHINYSHINY91 and White Hot seems to be showing no signs of slowing down. Aishwarya Dhawan vs. Megalodon Hard hitting slugfest that ended up with Megalodon knocking the Amaron Ka Ahkaada founder out with his reverse tomoe nage, dropping her right on her head. Word had it that Crusher Honda was vocally irate after this happened. Shino Ito Lightning Pro Debut Shino Ito vs. Reimi Makabe An easy win for the Chairman's daughter in her official L-Pro main roster debut, with Ito cruising along before pinning Reimi Makabe with a capture suplex. No doubt about it, Shino Ito is hardly the novice that she claims to be. --- Match of the Night: D-Train vs. Goodfellas -Easy pick, no other match even came close to bringing the excitement that these two duos of veteran performers managed. Performance of the Night: Akari Ikari, Lilou Ibara -Two underdog wins stood out on a night without many big performances otherwise, with Ikari overcoming an ascendent Rei Hasegawa and Ibara beating the well-traveled Maximillian Francesco De La Cruz. --- Injury Report Aishwarya Dhawan: Minor Skull Fracture (Three Month Medical Suspension) -Dhawan was knocked out of her match with an inverted tomoe nage from Megalodon, and suffered a thankfully minor skull fracture on impact, an injury that doctors predict she will fully recover from in around three months time. Diego Santana: Bruised Ribs (One Month Medical Suspension) -Slammed on the floor by Dag Boomer, Diego Santana will not take excessively long to be back, but will have to take a month off to heal up. Maximillian Francesco De La Cruz: Mild Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) -With the back of his head driven into the mat with Lilou Ibara's Needle Drop, De La Cruz will be out of the ring for a few months, but few doubt that he'll show up at ringside if Worldwide Conquest is in action at any point during his medical suspension.

Universal Combat Shoot Style will have the next two challenges for the Openweight title bout lined up after this program, with the main event picking out a winner between three top names in the promotion. The Cameroonian Kyokushin sensation, Lanna Ndi makes her first showing as well, as she works her way back from injuries to becoming the next challenger. In addition, supernova prospect, Lilou Ibara makes a guest spot in trios action and the deepest tag division in the Office meets the spotlight across the card. UCSS: Turner vs. Tokugawa vs. Gracie - 3-15-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, March 15th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Main Event: UCSS Openweight Championship Contender Bout Andronicus Turner vs. Masa Tokugawa vs. Thiago Gracie Larry Washington(Realm of Wrestling) with Lanna Ndi vs. "Death Prince" Ernest Miller(SWA) with Ewan Jacobs(SWA) and "Enforcer" Damon Smith(SWA) Lilou Ibara and Agile Warriors(Onika Santos and Anatoly Shkuro) with Professor Mark Gizenga vs. Special Forces(Frank Van Sloan and Mahima Gurung) and Renate Barlowe Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) with Aoife Daley vs. Gemma Jo Butt with Jumbo Joseph Butt Hannes Lefeuvre(Butterfloor) and Bunch'a Amateurs(Zak Hayes and Cody Sheppard)(Butterfloor) vs. Gentleman Jem Gladstone and Polar Opposites(Lula Bufona and Marija Pulev) Della Dwight with Aline Richelieu vs. "Mamagami" Manami Ishigami with Sakura Ishigami and Onosa'i Tagaloa World Famous Savage-Do(Rikki Renegade(Neutral Ground) and Oleg Makos with Count Savage) vs. Catch Club Canada(Eliza Faulkner(MWWC) and Mackenzie Bergeron) Chun Zheng(Neutral Ground) with Gang Wong vs. Seong Jung Hwan Cherry Blossom Ikki(SWA) with Mikazuki(SWA) and Victor Bosch(SWA) vs. "Flatfoot" Francine Francis with Hakim Fields and Anaba Camacho

[One Thumb Down] People think I'm too hard on UCSS, but the thing is, the promotion is by and large an all or nothing deal. There are times UCSS brings a level of intensity and competition that you rarely see in combat sports. Then there's times where this damn fed either gets half the roster injured or throws out a whole show of duds. Thankfully, this was the latter, not the former, but still, aside from the fast moving main event and a few solid team showings, I can't really recommend this one to anyone outside the core UCSS audience. You'll not hate yourself for watching this, but part of that is because you'll also forget you watched it within a day or two. -Tom S. Hunter RESULTS UCSS: Turner vs. Tokugawa vs. Gracie - 3-15-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, March 15th at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA Bonus Match Dangerous Nicholas Alger and the Limbtakers(Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising) and Ruthless Nicole Alger) vs. Big Banter Brand(Zin Win Aye, Sanem Becker and Virgil de Boer with "Big Banter" Rory Banner) One of the better matches on the card, Team Alger enduring the Big Banter Brand's attack to find a submission victory, Ruthless Nicole Alger tapping out Sanem Becker with the Ruthless Armripper for the honors. Main Event: UCSS Openweight Championship Contender Bout Andronicus Turner vs. Masa Tokugawa vs. Thiago Gracie Great, great performance from Thiago Gracie, submitting Masa Tokugawa, and then Andronicus Turner with a jujigatame. Gracie looked almost effortless in this one, and is now primed to challenge Larry Washington for the Openweight belt at Golden Touch #31. Larry Washington(Realm of Wrestling) with Lanna Ndi vs. "Death Prince" Ernest Miller(SWA) with Ewan Jacobs(SWA) and "Enforcer" Damon Smith(SWA) Supported by future Openweight challenger Lanna Ndi as she made her first showing in UCSS since suffering her injury from Rory Banner's knee strikes at December's Lariats and Legislators event, Larry Washington fought well against a strong challenge from the Death Prince, Ernest Miller, repeatedly pinning him, only for Ewan Jacobs to interfere and distract Mr. Judgement from counting the pin. Miller would pin Washington after a powerful headkick in the third round, but it was undoubtedly a tainted win at best. Once again, Jacobs draws the ire of Washington, and after the last direct encounter between the two, one might fear for the Irishman even more, this time. Lilou Ibara and Agile Warriors(Onika Santos and Anatoly Shkuro) with Professor Mark Gizenga vs. Special Forces(Frank Van Sloan and Mahima Gurung) and Renate Barlowe Fairly even match on both sides, and not the best showing to date for free agent star Lilou Ibara, but she and the Agile Warriors still managed a win with Onika Santos pinning Frank Van Sloan after a handspring pele kick. Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) with Aoife Daley vs. Gemma Jo Butt with Jumbo Joseph Butt A solidly competitive bout with Gemma Jo Butt digging deep to endure through Leona Sterling's dreaded guillotine and potent striking combinations to get the three count in the third round after a massive front falling powerbomb. Hannes Lefeuvre(Butterfloor) and Bunch'a Amateurs(Zak Hayes and Cody Sheppard)(Butterfloor) vs. Gentleman Jem Gladstone and Polar Opposites(Lula Bufona and Marija Pulev) Over all too quickly, the Butterfloor spoiler contingent of Hannes Lefeuvre and the Bunch'a Amateurs took the win with ease as Zak Hayes tapped out Marija Pulev with a rear naked choke out of a ground scramble. Della Dwight with Aline Richelieu vs. "Mamagami" Manami Ishigami with Sakura Ishigami and Onosa'i Tagaloa Fairly comfortable win for Dwight, scoring a third round pinfall win with her Skyscraper Suplex hold. World Famous Savage-Do(Rikki Renegade(Neutral Ground) and Oleg Makos with Count Savage) vs. Catch Club Canada(Eliza Faulkner(MWWC) and Mackenzie Bergeron) Catch Club Canada stepped up once again here with Eliza Faulkner tapping out Rikki Renegade with the Leg Separator Clutch she perfected under Mackenzie Bergeron's mentorship. Faulkner again showed her potential with this win, and Catch Club Canada should be closing in on a UCSS Tag Title bout soon with wins like this. Chun Zheng(Neutral Ground) with Gang Wong vs. Seong Jung Hwan A good, fast paced striking display from both sides, Seong Jung Hwan scoring the pinfall win at the start of the fourth round after a spinning crescent kick. SWA Prestige Rules Cherry Blossom Ikki(SWA) with Mikazuki(SWA) and Victor Bosch(SWA) vs. "Flatfoot" Francine Francis with Hakim Fields and Anaba Camacho Dominating showing from Francine Francis, but it was not enough to prevent BLADE MMA's favorite son from surviving the first ten minute round and to hold on long enough to score a submission victory with a rear naked choke in the second. --- Match of the Night: Leona Sterling vs. Gemma Jo Butt -A tough award to give out on a night full of routine matches, but these two at least put on a two-sided match without any unfortunate antics(unlike Washington-Miller) and a finish that was in question until the end. Performance of the Night: Thiago Gracie -Aside from Infamous allowing the Death Prince to pin Larry Washington in an extremely dubious way, this was a supremely easy award to give out as Gracie submitted a red-hot Masa Tokugawa and the returning Andronicus Turner without breaking a sweat to earn a title bout.

Morgan "Midas" Matthews: Welcome, consumers of professional wrestling content. You wanted the best, and the best is what you get here. The best card, match for match, in combat sports history. Six matches, every one with championship stakes at play. Never, ever tell me that Golden Touch does not give you your money's worth. This is the show that my vast fortunes can produce. Anthony Kalb: And this is the show that I helped put together because Midas was dragging his feet and didn't want to give you, the people another Colossus Rhodes match until halfway through the year. I can also say that Midas was miffed that... Midas: Enough! I pay you a handsome sum to make this work out, and I'm trying to hype up our big money luxury event, so hush! Kalb: You have a terrible history of doing this, so just calm down and let me take the lead now! So, the first match of the night could be a main event on another night. We have the UCSS Tag Team Championship on the line with one of the greatest teams ever to do it, American Apex defending once again against one of the hottest stars in the Office today, Masa Tokugawa along with Ai Tanaka. UCSS's tag scene has been on fire and I am confident these two teams will offer the highest level of competition we can present, a great confrontation between two of the best technical grapplers in the game and two of the most potent strikers around. Midas: Yeah, yeah, it's an exciting opener, but I see you put two tag matches back to back to start this off. I seem to recall we had an agreement that we don't do this outside of tournaments...you best have a justification for that! Kalb: Hey, we decided on six title bouts, and there can only be so many ways we can organize them, alright? So yeah, we also have a big SWA Tag Championship match, with one of the biggest teams in the last fifteen years, the Vanishing, Blade Saeba's won big in every style you can think of, and Notorious hits like a rampaging bull. They finally ended the years long reign of Renacimiento and now they defend against a team that might be the single most popular duo currently in the Office, Green River Wrestling's Calhoun Bros. You want energy, team flow, and all out action, you got it with Abdenego and Obadiah. One thing's for sure, you're getting a battle of two of the most entertaining teams we can give you in this one. Midas: They better deliver. I didn't renew a deal with the SWA to be let down on the big stage. But I don't think the fans will be let down by the spectacle that a god of war presents. Even if he is merely a guest on our roster, I still spare no expense to bring the best. Kalb: The Fistic Deity, Larry Washington has top shelf punching power, the physique of a Greek statue, the motivation to push himself past his limits time and time again. Washington briefly lost his belt to the dirty tricks of Ewan Jacobs but quickly reclaimed it to restore his reign. Thiago Gracie's always been a winner, a founder of UCSS, a two time Openweight champion already, the Armbar Grandmaster who's probably the best submission artist ever. Gracie has been in the background for a time, but gained this match by tapping out Andronicus Turner and Masa Tokugawa in a big time triple threat last week. I love UCSS's ability to contrast styles, and you don't get a better example of that than this Openweight title bout, with the boxing and physicality of Washington against the ground game and technique of Gracie. Midas: I think I like Pure Gold, if only because of their name, their ambition. They're a team that does not settle for existing in the background. And that's why I'm more than fine with them as our Victorious Tag Medal champions. Kalb: Of course, Mallory Spaulding and Five Star Kyle Anderson are defending against two legends, with the Destructive Duo having beaten Star Perfect to earn their chance again at the Medals. Pure Gold have quietly put together one of the better current championship tenures we have going, and it's a major credit to Spaulding and Anderson for managing to adapt and mesh so well after Pure Gold has gone through so many other configurations. The Duo, well, Crusher and Wrecker are Crusher and Wrecker, you know what you get there. These are two teams that know how to win, how to survive in this industry, and however this goes, I don't doubt they'll each have a lot more to offer going forward. Midas: I don't care about the TIPWF match too much, go ahead and cover that. Kalb: Seriously? You don't care about that? Midas: Vargas is a sorry disappointment, Marshall should stick to his own promotion. That's all I have to say. Kalb: Come on! I know the New Humanity didn't exactly light the world on fire when he was part of your stable, but the man was always a long term project, the best pure athlete ever in wrestling. How can you not be excited to see if Vargas can finally build on his experience, his ability, the mentorship of Salvador Sosa, and show us he finally put it all together? And Lance Marshall, he's an all-time great by my opinion, and he's only gotten better and better, bulking up to match the modern super behemoths of today's generation, always refining his style. He's been the single most accomplished person in the business over the last calendar year, and any time he graces our ring with his presence, I'm psyched. How can you not be, Midas, how can you be such a stick in the mud? Midas: I see things the way I see them, and nobody is going to tell me otherwise! Besides, we're finally there. The biggest match so far this year. Colossus Rhodes, the most powerful physical force wrestling has ever seen. An unparalleled presence. The biggest draw we have, a spectacle in and of himself. We will see just how ill-advised it was for you to take our two top homegrown champions and throw them in against a man who has a reputation for breaking people, changing lives, ending careers. Oh, I wanted to wait, to build up a proper marquee matchup for Rhodes at Mid Year Lariats, but you wanted this, Mr. Kalb, and the people demanded it. I cannot turn down a chance to maximize our bottom line, and the opportunity was calling out, demanding my action. Kalb: And I'm glad you did! But Midas, you sell our champs short! Moustapha Ndour, the Warbringer, the PEWA Extreme Champion, Senegal's own. Ndour's an otherworldly athlete with the power you'd expect from his build, but a level of speed and explosiveness of someone half his size. He's demonstrated his greatness around the world, either on his own, or with Demarcus Browning and Renate Barlowe, always a standout in Pan African Wrestling, in Sakura Pro, anywhere he goes. If you've seen his matches with the Hindu Sheik and Hideo Kawabata, you'll know that you can never, ever count him out. Kalb: Now, you also have the great Ibrahim Rahman, Lightning Pro Victorious Medal holder, the best technical wrestler ever to compete here. Rahman can pin anyone anywhere anytime. The Tunisian Nomad isn't just a flash pin artist, he's a solid striker, he's quick as lightning and he's got a mean streak if he's pushed hard enough. Yeah, I know, Midas, you don't like Ibrahim since he beat the odds to break his unfair contract with you, so you know all too well that he can prove you wrong! However this shakes out, we'll still have the three best in the Office lined up in some order when the dust settles. Midas: And you might want to be ready to find some new champions for the PEWA and for Lightning Pro... Kalb: So, in closing, we have six matches, just six, but if you're a wrestling fan, no, if you're a combat sports fan of any sort, nah, if you're interested in excitement in general, then these six matches are just what you're looking for. We have the ulltimate quality over quantity event for you here, and I hope to see you all out there in person at the Beltway, or in the chat on the Senatorial Streaming Service! Golden Touch #31: For All The Gold - 3-22-2024 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, March 22nd at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington DC Main Event: Senatorial Office Number One Ranking Bout Colossus Rhodes(C) vs. Moustapha Ndour vs. Ibrahim Rahman TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Championship Bout Lance Marshall(AFW)(C) vs. The New Humanity Esteban Vargas Lightning Pro Victorious Tag Medal Bout Pure Gold(Mallory Spaulding and "Five Star" Kyle Anderson)(Phoenix Rising)(C) vs. The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto) UCSS Openweight Championship Bout "Fistic Deity" Larry Washington(Realm of Wrestling)(C) vs. Thiago Gracie SWA Tag Team Championship Bout The Vanishing(Blade Saeba and Notorious with Grateful Saeba)(SWA)(C) vs. The Calhoun Bros.(Obadiah Calhoun and Abednego Calhoun with Lucia Shikongo-Calhoun) UCSS Tag Team Championship Bout American Apex(Keith Van Horne and Lamont Aldren)(Wrestle Parade)(C) vs. Apocalyptic Warriors(Masa Tokugawa and Ai Tanaka)
